THE BODY is a new thriller-mystery on Netflix. It’s a remake from India based on a Spanish thriller from 2012. This is the second remake since it was also remade in South Korea a few years ago. Read our full  The Body review here!

The Body is a new movie on Netflix. It’s from India and the genre is thriller laced with mystery. This movie is a Hindi remake of a Spanish movie, which should tell you that the story is pretty damn good. I mean, why else would anyone want to remake it?

If you like a good thriller with mystery and some interesting (though not necessarily very likable) characters, then you should check out this movie.

Remake of a Spanish thriller

The Body is a remake of the Spanish 2012 thriller  El cuerpo . However, this new Hindi version on Netflix isn’t even the first remake of the movie from Spain. In 2018 that movie was remade in South Korea as The Vanished which we have also watched and reviewed.

Of course, the fact that it continues getting remade in various countries speaks to the qualities of the original. Or, to be precise, it should tell you that the story and plot is universal – and pretty damn brilliant.

In fact, it also speaks to the quality of stories coming out of Spain. South Korea also remade  Sleep Tight as  Door Lock so they’re obviously looking to Spain for good stories. And that’s despite South Korea has one of the best and biggest movie productions. Only Hollywood and Bollywood produce more movies.

Interestingly, this latest remake of The Body is from India (known as Bollywood in terms of production origin). It almost seems destined that a US remake is bound to happen, but no (official) word on this yet.

The Body Movie Review: Dead on arrival despite Rishi Kapoor and Emraan Hashmi's best efforts

There is a missing dead body. A murder. A clandestine cover-up. And then, there is the proverbial plot twist. With all this, it is easy to understand why director Jeethu Joseph decided to make his Bollywood debut with The Body . For someone who made Drishyam , this film should have been a walk in the park. However, it is anything but.

The Body , an official remake of the 2012 Spanish film El Cuerpo , begins with flashes of an accident, and a flustered cop SP Jairaj Rawal (Rishi Kapoor) waking up from a dream about crashing cars. The body of famous businesswoman Maya Varma (Sobhita Dhulipala) has gone missing from the morgue, and Jairaj is assigned the case. Jairaj believes Maya’s husband, Ajay Puri (Emraan Hashmi) is involved in the theft. Ajay is briefly convinced he is in The Sixth Sense universe and is capable of seeing dead people. But then, he is confused because a rational part of him believes Maya isn’t dead. Interestingly, Jairaj also sees dead people, but doesn’t believe Ajay has similar powers. In between all this, there is Ritu (Vedhika Kumar), who is romantically involved with Ajay.

Interestingly,  The Body doesn’t stick to one genre. It switches between being a supernatural thriller, a murder mystery, a relationship drama, and a he-done-it-but-oops-she-is-alive. Despite its taut runtime of 104 minutes, The Body is all over the place. 

What keeps the film somewhat cohesive are the performances of Emraan and Rishi, who try their best to sell the incredulous happenings on screen. Emraan's Ajay is scared, confused, and ironically (in the film's context), chivalrous. One standout scene has him fishing out a letter from a dirty commode and contemplating shoving it down his throat. He sells that disgust as convincingly as he expresses his exasperation over Maya’s sick humour.

If Emraan delivers a balanced performance that is almost effective, Rishi Kapoor continues the golden run of his second innings as an actor. Not only does Rishi look the part of a wizened old-school cop, he also lends it a weird sense of humour. I was in splits when the veteran actor makes fun of Emraan’s trademark snigger. It was a scene that sprung up completely out of the blue. It is this novelty that The Body desperately needed more of.

The final reveal, something that Jeethu excelled at in Drishyam , isn't particularly impressive in The Body . Another setback for the film is the way the investigation unfolds conveniently, instead of being the product of clever detective work. The writing is at its weakest in these portions, and it results in Rishi Kapoor going missing for extended periods. Emraan is a good actor, but the strain of shouldering the film shows. Though Sobhita gets to play the titular role, she has little to do other than look smouldering, pining, and scheming at the switch of a button. Vedhika, too, is mostly relegated to reacting like a deer in headlights.  

Although  The Body falls flat in one sequence too many, it does make you think of the could-have-beens and what-ifs. But a thriller that leaves room for such speculations is clearly not very engaging. For all its seemingly palpable tension, its weak and predictable screenplay leaves  The Body ... weighted and cold.

फिल्म में एक रईस बिजनेसवुमन की डेड बॉडी शवगृह से गायब हो जाती है। इस केस को सॉल्व करने के लिए एसपी जयराज रावल आते हैं। फिल्म में शक अजय पुरी (इमरान हाशमी) पर होता है जिसका अपनी स्टूडेंट रितु (देविका) के साथ एक्सट्रा मैरिटल अफेयर चल रहा होता है। लेकिन इसी बीच अजय को लगता है कि माया जिंदा है और वो उसे फंसाने की कोशिश कर रही है। अब इस पहेली में आगे क्या होता है ये आपको फिल्म देखकर पता चलेगा।

'दृश्यम' के बाद से जीतू जोसेफ से काफी एक्सपेक्टेशन बढ़ गई है और इस फिल्म से भी काफी उम्मीद थी, लेकिन फिल्म में उतना कमाल दिख नहीं पाया। फिल्म में कुछ सीन्स काफी जोरदार हो सकते थे, लेकिन वो उतना एफेक्टिव नहीं दिखे। ऋषि कपूर और इमरान हाशमी दोनों ही बेहतरीन एक्टर हैं, लेकिन उनकी एक्टिंग भी इस फिल्म को एफेक्टिव बनाने में कामयाब नहीं हुई। गाने में बेवजह रोमांटिक गानें डाले गए हैं जिनका होना भी जरूरी नहीं थी।

The Body Movie Review: Emraan Hashmi and Rishi Kapoor starrer THE BODY is a dry and boring thriller. At the box office, it will turn out to be a flop.

One of the biggest surprise hits of 2019 was the suspense thriller BADLA, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu. It was a remake of the 2017 Spanish film THE INVISIBLE GUEST, directed by Oriol Paulo. Now another film of this master director, THE BODY, has been remade and also carries the same title. So does the Hindi remake of THE BODY manage to grip and shock viewers, just like the original version? Or does it fail to engage? Let’s analyse.

THE BODY is the story of a corpse that vanishes from a morgue under mysterious circumstances. Ajay Puri (Emraan Hashmi) is married to a rich businesswoman Maya Verma (Sobhita Dhulipalia) and both reside in Port Louis, Mauritius. Ajay has married Maya for her wealth. Moreover he is fed up of the way she ill treats him. Ajay runs her pharmaceutical business and is also a guest professor. During one of the lectures, he gets introduced to a student, Ritu (Vedhika Kumar). Soon they start a romantic relationship. Ajay is aware that if he asks for a divorce from Maya, he’ll be stripped of all wealth. Hence he decides to murder her and devises a great plan. Maya gets anxious while taking flights. The day she is going to be back from a long flight from Los Angeles, Ajay pours small amount of poison in her wine. It produces same kind of symptoms that one gets while suffering a heart attack. The doctors would hence conclude that she suffered the attack due to her anxiety over taking the flight. As per the plan, Maya consumes the poisoned wine and in the evening, she dies. Her body is taken to the morgue for autopsy. Trouble arises when the body disappears from the morgue. The caretaker, Tara Singh, claims that he saw dead Maya herself walking out! SP Jairaj Rawal (Rishi Kapoor) is brought to investigate the case. Jairaj himself is not able to recover from a personal tragedy. What happens next forms the rest of the film.

Oriol Paulo's original story has loose ends but could have made for a great suspense thriller. The adapted screenplay is faulty and very weak. The film needed some really nail biting scenes. Instead the writer added clichéd and run of the mill scenes which hamper the impact. Dialogues are also nothing exciting.

Jeethu Joseph's direction is quite disappointing. It is shocking that the director who made the original version of DRISHYAM has made this flick. The execution seems amateur and fails to really captivate the audiences. Despite the 103 minutes run-time, the film is riddled with 4 songs further adding to the disappointment. Also the shocking climax instead of impressing viewers will leave them bewildered as the whole idea of the body disappearing from the morgue seems too farfetched and unnecessary for what was the intention.

THE BODY has a non-linear narrative and that keeps the interest going to an extent. However the first 10 minutes prove that the execution is not upto the mark. The film has some interesting moments but are not helmed well. A few sequences that stand out are Ajay being interrogated by Jairaj. The intermission point arrests attention as a horror angle is introduced. Post interval, the film remains dry with only few moments here and there that impress. The finale is unpredictable but not very logical.

Emraan Hashmi is fine but could have done better. His best scenes are with Rishi Kapoor and especially when he gets irritated with the investigation. Rishi Kapoor is a bit theatrical which wasn’t the requirement of the character. He gets the sarcasm bit right. Sobhita Dhulipalia emerges as the best performer of the film. Her role is quite badass and he does total justice. Vedhika Kumar looks glamorous and is decent. Rukhsar Ahmed (Dr Tanya) and Anupam Bhattacharya (Pavan) are passable.

Songs are a big letdown and are forced. All songs of the film - 'Main Janta Hoon', 'Khuda Hafiz', 'Aaina' and 'Rom Rom' are forgettable. 'Jhalak Dikhla Jaa Reloaded' is missing from the film. Clinton Cerejo's background score fails to make any impact.

Satheesh Kurup's cinematography is neat. Prem Navas's production design is rich. Dipika Lal and Anirudh Singh's costumes are glamorous especially the clothes worn by Sobhita Dhulipalia and Vedhika Kumar. Ayoob Khan's editing is nothing special.

On the whole, THE BODY is a dry and boring thriller. At the box office, it will turn out to be a flop.

Emraan Hashmi's comeback to murder mysteries is a lacklustre affair. The film, also starring Rishi Kapoor and Sobhita Dhulipala, suffers due to its dry narrative.

Since it is confined within the walls of a mortuary and spans over a period of eight hours, this murder mystery tends to lose its grip over the audience early on.

साल 2012 में आई स्पैनिश मिस्ट्री थ्रिलर फिल्म 'द बॉडी' में जरूर कुछ खास रहा होगा, जिसकी वजह से उसने इंटरनैशनल स्तर पर फिल्ममेकर्स का ध्यान आकर्षित किया। यह फिल्म अब तक कन्नड़, तमिल और कोरियन भाषा में बन चुकी है, वहीं इंग्लिश में बनाए जाने की भी तैयारी चल रही है। लेकिन शुक्रवार को सिनेमाघरों में इसी नाम से रिलीज हुई इसकी हिंदी रीमेक वैसा जादू कतई नहीं जगा पाती। साउथ में 'दृश्यम' जैसी जबदस्त सस्पेंस फिल्म बना चुके निर्देशक जीतू जोसेफ की इस पहली हिंदी फिल्म से एक बढ़िया क्राइम थ्रिलर फिल्म की उम्मीद थी, लेकिन वह ऐसा कर पाने में चूक गए हैं। कहानी: फिल्म में एक रईस बिजनसवुमन माया वर्मा (सोभिता धूलिपाला) की डेड बॉडी शवगृह से अचानक गायब हो जाती है, जिसकी तहकीकात एसपी जयराज रावल (ऋषि कपूर) करते हैं। शक की सुई माया के पति अजय पुरी (इमरान हाशमी) की ओर है, जिसका अपनी एक स्टूडेंट रितु (वेदिका) के साथ एक्स्ट्रा-मैरिटल अफेयर है। लेकिन तहकीकात के दौरान ऐसे घटनाक्रम होते हैं कि अजय को लगता है कि माया जिंदा है और वह उसे फंसाने की कोशिश कर रही है। अब सच क्या है, यह जानने के लिए फिल्म देखनी होगी। देखें, 'द बॉडी' का ऑफिशल ट्रेलर रिव्यू: फिल्म का प्लॉट इंट्रेस्टिंग है, लेकिन स्क्रीनप्ले बेहद कमजोर है। ऐसा लगता है कि निर्देशक यह समझ ही नहीं पाए कि वह कहानी को किस तरह आगे बढ़ाना चाहते हैं। बार-बार आते फ्लैशबैक और रोमांटिक गाने सस्पेंस का पूरा मजा किरकिरा कर देते हैं। एकाध सीन के अलावा, पूरी फिल्म एक लैबोरेट्री में सेट है, जिसमें डॉक्टर महज एक बार नजर आती हैं। फिल्म का प्रॉडक्शन वैल्यू भी कमजोर है, जिसके चलते छोटे परदे के क्राइम सीरियल वाला अहसास होता है। यही नहीं, जीतू जोसेफ निर्देशक ऋषि कपूर, इमरान हाशमी, सोभिता धूलिपाला जैसे सक्षम ऐक्टर्स से भी उनका बेहतरीन काम नहीं ले पाए हैं। इनका अभिनय भी औसत है। फिल्म का इकलौता प्लस पॉइंट क्लाइमैक्स है, जबकि गाने सुरीले होते हुए भी फिल्म की गति में बाधक हैं। क्यों देखें: थ्रिलर फिल्मों के शौकीन हैं, तो अपने रिस्क पर देख सकते हैं।

Director Jeethu Joseph has built his career around thrillers that revel in pushing the boundaries of the genre. When they succeed, they make for highly entertaining mainstream cinema. His pan-Indian fame rests principally on the 2013 Malayalam film Drishyam , starring Mohanlal. It was remade in Hindi by another director with Ajay Devgn in the lead and in Tamil ( Papanasam , 2015) by Joseph himself with Kamalahasan playing the principal role. The Body , which marks his first foray into Hindi films, is natural career progression for the prolific director.

It is disappointing that The Body isn't quite the film it could have been. Joseph plays safe and that is the undoing of this murder mystery that has multiple layers but not enough depth. Not only does the director stick to the tried and tested, he makes doubly sure that he does not go wrong by opting to adapt the Spanish film El Cuerpo (2012), written and directed by Oriol Paulo. ( The Body is the second Bollywood remake of an Oriol Paulo film to hit the screens in the span of a year. Sujoy Ghosh's Badla , a version of The Invisible Guest , was the first).

The cast is led by an effortlessly on-the-ball Rishi Kapoor as Jairaj Rawal, an ageing Mauritius police investigator probing the disappearance of the body a wealthy businesswoman from a forensic laboratory morgue. Joseph keeps the twists and turns in this 103-minute film on a tight leash. If only The Body had a little more meat it would have been an unqualified winner. Parts of the film, somewhat desultory, could have done with greater flourish.

Rishi Kapoor is at once acerbic and abrasive as the policeman who pulls no punches when an accused is before him struggling to wriggle out of his stranglehold. The man at the receiving end of his unrelenting pressure tactics is played by Emraan Hashmi. For the latter, The Body represents familiar hunting ground.

Emraan Hashmi is cast as Ajay Puri, the husband of the dead woman, Maya Verma (Sobhita Dhulipala). The temperamental sleuth has reason to believe that Ajay has had a hand not only in whisking the body out of the morgue in order to evade an autopsy, but also in the cardiac arrest that his wife suffered after a long flight into Port Louis from Los Angeles.

The woman, who owns multiple businesses, is no pushover. In fact, her husband is putty in her hands. Dhulipala, informing the role with a mix of disarming charm and ruthless inscrutability, projects strength and indomitability. It is easy to believe that she wouldn't have gone down without a fight. And, given the stubborn stand that Rawal takes against Ajay, it is obvious soon enough that he knows something that we, and the onscreen characters around him, do not.

The film places most of the principal cards on the table within the first few sequences, holding back only a couple of perspective-altering reveals for the climax. For instance, we are allowed into Ajay's big secret: an extra-marital affair with Ritu (Vedhika Kumar). He now has two reasons to bump off his wife: a new love and the former's material assets. But nothing in a whodunnit can be as open and shut as that.

When interrogated by the cranky police officer, Ajay shows no signs of emotional distress. Rawal finds that very odd. He reminds his deputy Pawan (Anupam Bhattacharya) that his wife, Nancy, died in a car crash a decade ago but he still hasn't recovered from the shock. But that was an accident, Pawan interjects. It wasn't an accident, Rawal says, leaving no room for an argument.

The thriller plays out over one night - over a period of eight hours, to be precise. Rawal retains Ajay in the police station for questioning until well after sunrise. During the desperate hours that he is forced to spend fielding Rawal's pointed questions, Ajay begins to wonder if Maya is really dead. He feels that she is playing mind games with him.

Every little sign of Maya's presence that Ajay sees leads him into a flashback that creates the context for the fears and doubts that are gnawing at him. But instead of heightening the coiled-up sense of guilt that seems to be bothering him, these lookbacks at happier times slow down the police procedural. The film gets bogged down by the numerous love songs that are played over, before and after scenes meant either to emphasise Ajay and Maya's love-hate relationship or to reveal the depth of the trust and affection that Ajay and Ritu have for each other.

The Body has no scope for Bollywood-style romance but it insists on banking on plenty of it framed against the picturesque backdrops on offer in the Indian Ocean nation where the story is set. It is the sort of thriller in which unconcealed wickedness and brazen displays of physical passion would have worked infinitely better than the treacly love ditties. The man does share moments of intimacy with the two women - the screenplay brings out the marked differences between the two relationships with some clarity - but they do not serve to underscore the intensity of the emotions that drive Ajay to resort to measures that can only cause trouble.

In one scene, the hero calls a girl who waits tables at the nightclub that he frequented with his wife. He enquires about Maya's mobile phone. She is dead, she may be alive, it is complicated, he blabbers. The girl at the other end of the line is understandably flummoxed. So are we! The Body is best left alone.

It takes a deft hand to make a murder mystery that keeps you engaged and offers a zinger as the climax. Alas, Rishi Kapoor and Emraan Hashmi -starrer The Body is not that film.

Despite having a readymade story, director Jeetu Joseph fails to deliver or keep you interested throughout the length of the film. Given the plot and characters, it could have been quite a thrilling watch but poor treatment and a dry narrative leaves no scope for the actors - Rishi Kapoor, Emraan Hashmi, Sobhita Dhulipala - to perform beyond a point. A remake of a 2012 Spanish film by the same name, The Body is slow, scattered and a half-baked attempt at making a murder mystery.

The film begins with the body of a millionaire businesswoman, Maya (Dhulipala), going missing from a morgue. SP Jairaj Rawal (Kapoor) who is investigating the case believes the dead woman’s husband, Ajay (Hashmi) killed his wife by inducing a heart attack and then stole her body from the morgue to escape an autopsy.

As the events unfold over a span of one night - 8 hours to be precise - Hashmi gets plenty of hints that Maya is alive. Or is it her ghost? Meanwhile, his girlfriend Ritu (Kumar) is there to offer constant support to him to deal with the crisis. Will the cops find the body? Or will Ajay’s fears turn into reality?

The Body has many questions and what-will-happen-next moments but without the thrill you would expect in a murder mystery. Joseph plays it safe, and doesn’t play around much with his characters. and doesn’t play around much with his characters.

Kapoor is in his elements as he returns to the screen after almost a year. He owns his part as the cranky police officer who has his own baggage – he lost his wife in a car crash, which he refuses to believe was an accident. He’s a tough nut to crack but holds your attention when he’s there.

Hashmi, on the other hand, is shown as a diffident college professor who hits the jackpot when he marries Maya. He’s charming in parts but given that throughout the film he’s confined to the four walls of a morgue, he seems to be struggling to put pieces together and be seen.

While Sobhita as the svelte, rich and gorgeous entrepreneur born with a silver spoon is convincing, Vedhika is a bit of a misfit and doesn’t have a strong screen presence. She is mostly reduced to sobbing while telling Ajay, ‘tum wahan se bhaag jao’.

As the series of events unfold, you’re shown flashbacks which are, each time, topped with a romantic song. Even though they’re shot at the most picturesque locales and look pretty, they totally take you away from the story.

By the time you reach climax, you have made your own deductions and the twist makes you go ‘wow’ and ‘blah’ at the same time. The Body is mediocre at best, watch it if you truly like thrillers but don’t expect it to make it to your top 5 list.

The story begins in 2004, when a young Ruslaan watches his parents die before his eyes. His father is accused of conspiring in a bomb blast at a school in Mumbai. Ruslaan is adopted by ATS Chief Sameer Singh (Jagapathi Babu), who leads the encounter mission that killed his father. As a grown-up, Ruslaan (Aayush Sharma) works as a spy for RAW, where Mantra (Vidya Malvade) is his reporting officer. Ruslaan wants to prove that a terrorist’s son is not a terrorist and would do anything to protect his nation. However, things go wrong for him when everyone around him starts doubting his intentions. Will he prove his innocence?

Ruslaan Movie Review: Script Analysis

The story is written by Shiva, and the screenplay for Karan Lalit Butani’s directorial is penned by Yunus Sajawal, Mohit Srivastava, and Kavin Dave. Amidst the slow-motion fight scenes, we’re constantly reminded that Ruslaan is a true fighter, and loyal to his nation. We learn that Pakistan and China are planning something big that will harm Indians. So, Ruslaan is assigned the mission to gather as much information as possible. Ruslaan’s adoptive father doesn’t want him to join any services, so he secretly works for RAW.

The movie takes time to build up in the first 45 minutes, but we’re kept hooked on the mystery surrounding a terrorist named Kasim. Everyone addresses him as a “ghost” because no one has seen him, but he ensures the job is done. Kasim is a big threat to India. But even the mystery fizzles out due to the slow storytelling, until the lift sequence. The lift fight sequence, where Ruslaan fights to save his friend, is action-packed and entertaining. It’s after this scene that the first twist arrives in the movie.

The interval block is intriguing. It is packed with fast-paced action and suspense, leaving you curious about how Ruslaan will prove his innocence, especially to his father/ATS Chief Sameer Singh. The story again slows down in the second half. From Mumbai, the plot shifts to Azerbaijan, which seldom makes the story intriguing. The writers have thrown easy “challenges” at our protagonist, and he escapes them quickly every time.

Towards the climax, we’re again left wondering about Kasim’s identity. The makers managed to startle me when they revealed Kasim’s real identity. However, the twist makes you question the logic, considering the prominence of this man in the story. The makers tried to make the climax emotional, but struggled a bit. The dialogues regarding patriotism felt clichéd, while the humour fell flat.

Ruslaan Movie Review: Star Performance

Aayush Sharma, as Ruslaan, packs many kicks and punches in the action thriller. The fight scenes featuring him are choreographed well, but they’re not extraordinary. Sushrii Shreya Mishraa plays Sharma’s love interest and pivotal character. The actress supports the story well; however, the romance looks forced. Jagapathi Babu and Vidya Malavade deliver good performances.

Ruslaan Movie Review: Direction, Music

The story about showing how a terrorist’s son isn’t a terrorist must have sounded like a good idea on paper, but the execution is subpar. However, what I liked about Karan Lalit Butani’s directorial is that it doesn’t go into Pakistan-bashing mode, which often happens in movies where India is under threat. There are no jingoism and preachy deshbhakti discussions that sometimes make movies of this genre appear superficial. The director was aware of Aayush Sharma’s strengths and utilized him well for action scenes.

The movie’s background music is sometimes bothersome, but the songs are okay. The good thing is that the songs are used in the first half, and we’re saved from the typical route of the hero and heroine romancing to a romantic track in a foreign location while on a crucial mission.

Ruslaan Movie Review: The Last Word

Overall, Ruslaan would have been a solid spy thriller if the pace had been faster and the runtime had been shorter. But the mystery keeps you hooked. The second half felt relatively shallow.

Students who have appeared for the UP NMMS Exam 2024–25 can download the results through the official website of the Exam Regulatory Authority at entdata.co.in

The Exam Regulatory Authority, Uttar Pradesh, published the Uttar Pradesh National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (UP NMMS) result on April 25. Students who have appeared for the UP NMMS Exam 2024–25 can download the results through the official website of the Exam Regulatory Authority at entdata.co.in. The exam authority has also announced the UP NMMS Merit List 2024 of selected candidates along with their results. Moreover, the district-wise merit list of provisionally selected candidates will be declared on the official portal.

Selected students will be rewarded with a scholarship of Rs 12,000 per annum throughout their studies in Classes 9 to 12. Eligibility for the scholarship scheme is extended to candidates currently enrolled in Class 8 in government, government-aided, or local body council schools. In addition to that, the annual family income of students should not exceed Rs 350,000.

Students were required to attain a minimum of 40 per cent aggregate marks in both the Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) papers in order to qualify for the UP NMMS scholarship exam. Furthermore, students need to secure a minimum score of 55 per cent or an equivalent grade in their Class 8 examination to be eligible for consideration. Candidates falling under Scheduled Caste (SC) or Scheduled Tribe (ST) will get a relaxation of 5 per cent in the minimum passing mark criteria.

UP NMMS Result 2024: How to Download

Candidates can follow the step-by-step guide mentioned below to download the NMMS UP Result 2024.

Step 1: Candidates need to go to the official site of the Exam Regulatory Authority at entdata.co.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, look for and click on the link that reads, “National Means-cum Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMS) 2024-2025” in Hindi.

Step 3: Upon clicking, a new window will appear where candidates need to select their district.

Step 4: Once done, the UP NMMS Result PDF will open on the screen.

Step 5: Check the same carefully and download for further needs.

The UP NMMS merit list will include information such as the name of the candidate, father’s name, roll number, gender, date of birth, category, sub-category, Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) papers marks, total marks obtained, and rank.

Meanwhile, the UP NMMS exam for the academic year 2023–24 was conducted on November 5, 2023. The answer key for the same was released by the exam conducting authority on November 8, 2023.
