شہر کی بدبودار نالیوں اور طرح طرح کی گندگی سے پیدا ہونے والی بیماریوں سے دور قدرتی فضاؤں کا ایک حسین نظارہ ہوتا ہے جسے گاؤں کی زندگی کہا جاتا ہے۔

ہندوستان اور پاکستان کی آدھی سے زیادہ آبادی گاؤں میں رہتی ہے۔ گاؤں کے لوگوں کی زندگی آسان اور سادہ ہوتی ہے۔ گاؤں کی ہواؤں میں تازگی ہوتی ہے جس کو محسوس کر کے بہت سکون ملتا ہے۔ گاؤں میں ہر طرف ہریالی نظر آتی ہے۔

گاؤں میں رہنے والے لوگ زیادہ تر کھیتی کا کام کرتے ہیں۔ کھیتوں میں کام کرنے والوں کو کسان کہتے ہیں۔ کسان لوگ دن بھر کھیتوں میں بڑی محنت و مشقت سے کام کرتے ہیں اور رات کو چین کی نیند سوتے ہیں۔

گاؤں کے لوگ بہت ہی سیدھی سادھی زندگی بسر کرتے ہیں۔ سستے کپڑے پہنتے ہیں اور جو بھی ملتا ہے روکھا سوکھا اللہ کا شکر کرکے کھالیتے ہیں۔ گاؤں کا نظارہ بڑا ہی خوبصورت ہوتا ہے۔ سارا منظر دل کو چھو جاتا ہے۔ چاروں طرف ہرے بھرے لہراتے ہوئے کھیتوں کے ساتھ ساتھ رنگین پھولوں کی خوشبو دل کو خوش کر دیتی ہے۔

جب فصلیں پک جاتی ہیں تو کھیت پیلے رنگ کے نظر آنے لگتے ہیں۔ ایسا منظر دیکھنے کو ملتا ہے جیسے زمین پر سونا رکھا ہو۔ ہر طرف کھلا آسمان دکھائی دیتا ہے اور گاؤں کی صبح و شام کا منظر مایوس انسان کا بھی دل خوش کر دیتا ہے۔ ایسے خوبصورت نظارہ اور تازگی بھری ہواؤں کی وجہ سے گاؤں کے لوگوں کی زندگی بڑی ہی خوش حال رہتی ہے۔

گاؤں کے لوگ کھیتی کے علاوہ مرغی اور گائے، بھینس، بکری پالنے کا بھی کام کرتے ہیں اور گاؤں کی عورتیں بھی کچھ نہ کچھ کام کرتی رہتی ہیں۔ گائے ،بھینس اور بکری سے کسانوں کو کافی فائدہ ہوتا ہے اور اس کا دودھ بیچ کر اپنے بیوی بچوں کا پیٹ پالتے ہیں۔ گاؤں کے لوگ بڑی محنت کرتے ہیں اور بہت ہی ایماندار ہوتے ہیں۔ اس کے علاوہ گاؤں کے لوگ دوسروں کی مدد کرنے کے لئے ہر وقت تیار رہتے ہیں۔

لگاتار کام کرتے رہنا ہی ان کی زندگی کی کہانی ہے۔ لیکن وہ اپنی زندگی سے کبھی نہیں بھاگتے اور ہر حال میں خدا کا شکر ادا کرتے ہیں۔گاؤں کے لوگ بہت زیادہ محنت کرتے ہیں لیکن اس کے باوجود وہ ترقی نہیں کر پاتے۔ گاؤں کے رہنے والے لوگ زیادہ پڑھ لکھ بھی نہیں پاتے۔ صدیوں سے چلے آرہے رسم و رواج کی وجہ سے نہ وہ علم حاصل کر پاتے ہیں اور نہ ہی اپنے بچوں کو علم حاصل کرا پاتے ہیں۔ ان کے پاس علم کی کمی ہونے کی ہی وجہ سے وہ ہمیشہ سے غریبی اور مفلسی جھیلتے ہیں۔ گاؤں کے لوگوں کے پاس علم نہ ہونے کی وجہ سے وہ کھیتوں کے نئے طریقوں سے انجان رہتے ہیں۔

لیکن آج کل گاؤں گاؤں میں بھی اسکول کالج بنوائے جارہے ہیں۔ جس کی وجہ سے بچہ بچہ علم یافتہ ہوتا جا رہا ہے اور آج کا کسان نئے نئے بیجوں کے ساتھ ساتھ مشینوں کو استعمال کرنا بھی سیکھ گیا ہے۔ اس کے علاوہ آج کی سرکار گاؤں کے لوگوں کا بہت زیادہ خیال رکھ رہی ہے اور گاؤں کو سہولیت دے رہی ہے۔ ہر جگہ حمام بنوائے جا رہے ہیں۔ آج کی سرکار صرف گاؤں میں حمام ہی نہیں بنوا رہی ہے بلکہ گاؤں کے لوگوں کو گیس کا چولہا اور رہنے کے لئے گھر بھی دے رہی ہے۔ سڑکیں بنوا رہی ہے اور ایسے بہت سے کام کروا رہی ہے جس سے گاؤں کی آدھی سے زیادہ زندگی خوشگوار ہوگئی ہے۔ اور اگر اللہ نے چاہا تو آگے بھی گاؤں کے لوگوں کی زندگی ایسے ہی خوشگوار ہوتی رہے گی۔
