The Importance of Campus Cleaning to the College Experience
Between classes, extracurriculars, and a social life, cleanliness in college is easy to overlook when you’re a student. But that’s no excuse for school administrators to ignore the importance of a safe, sanitary learning environment that sets students up for success. Here’s why it matters.
Staff and Student Health Matters
A study at Brigham Young University has shown student success is directly tied to the maintenance and cleanliness of their learning environment. Conducted by the Center for Facilities Research at APPA, the study sought to provide clarity on how facility maintenance and cleaning enhances academic achievement and student health.
After polling nearly 1,500 students, the study found:
- 88% of students find that a lack of cleanliness can be a distraction to their learning experience.
- 84% of students find a spotless or tidy facility offers the ideal learning environment.
- While noise, air temperature, and lighting were the three most important factors, students reported that overall cleanliness is the fourth most important building element to a conducive learning experience.
- 78% of students said cleanliness has an impact on their health by affecting allergies and spreading germs, increasing their stress levels.
Overall, the study concluded that “when services are cut in order to save dollars … cutting cleaning services could have a detrimental impact on … the students.”
On top of this study, common sense tells us that healthy students will ultimately be happier and more successful students. With a cleaner learning environment, they’ll have additional incentives to use college resources to their full potential.
College Students Are Active
From campus dorms and gymnasiums to classroom buildings and auditoriums, hundreds or even thousands of individuals filter in and out of college buildings on a daily basis. As a result, these buildings are more prone to minor maintenance issues such as spills, water puddles near entryways, and dirty bathrooms.
Your facility maintenance plan needs to account for substantial fluctuations in foot traffic throughout any given day, so these minor issues don’t evolve into more significant problems like slipping and falling (a potential legal liability!) or infrastructure damage.
Mitigate Wear and Tear
Speaking of infrastructure damage, education cleaning services don’t merely keep surfaces safe and sanitary—they also help protect your university’s investments. When left unaddressed, minor problems like water puddles, dusty electronics, and overflowing trash cans can also lead to permanent damage.
Water puddles may damage floor surfaces or underlying infrastructure, requiring costly repairs or maintenance services. Dirty electronics are more prone to premature failure and may have to be replaced. Likewise, overflowing trash cans can lead to spills and debris that attract pests, create a hazardous environment, or damage floors.

A Positive Image
Your current students aren’t the only ones affected by education cleaning services at your university. Prospective students take notice, too. Since you only have one opportunity to make the best possible first impression on future students, maintaining a clean facility can be a crucial part of achieving that goal.
Studies have shown that seemingly unrelated factors like weather can influence an individual’s decision when the time comes to enroll. Consider how much of an effect building cleanliness and tidiness may play on a student’s decision to enroll at your university. By prioritizing a properly maintained facility, you don’t have to worry about dirty corners and overflowing trash cans negatively impacting enrollment.
Leading by Example
One of the core goals of the college experience is to prepare young adults for the rest of their lives. Your institution is entrusted with not only teaching students the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their future careers, but also in showing them how to be responsible citizens. 80% of students believe they should be involved in keeping campus buildings clean. Why not encourage that sentiment by showing them what a spotless building should look like? It will make your life easier while leading the way toward a better world for us all.

The Importance of Hygiene in Higher Education
School is officially back in session! Prioritize creating a safe and clean college campus that supports a successful learning environment.
Maintaining a well-kept campus not only helps improve the school’s appearance, but also has been shown to impact students’ education. Researchers at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, discovered that 88% of students find that a lack of cleanliness can distract from their learning experience. Help welcome students back to a new school year with a hygienic-focused campus.
Reduce germs and illness
Unsurprisingly, college campuses are filled with various germs that cause illnesses. As students mingle, sharing living spaces and lecture halls, it becomes very easy to transmit illnesses to one another. Therefore, promoting routine hygiene practices is essential.
Regularly cleaning high-traffic spaces can help minimize the spread of illnesses. This includes outsourcing cleaning professionals who can clean, sanitize, and disinfect shared areas on a routine basis. Utilizing proper cleaning tools and chemicals is another way to ensure buildings are properly cleaned without becoming a health hazard . Sustainable cleaning products not only benefit the planet and promote sustainable practice on campus, but also help create a safe and clean facility for students to learn.
Study handwashing 101
One of the quickest ways to spread germs is through your hands. Studies have found that our hands carry, on average, 3,200 different germs belonging to more than 150 species. This includes pathogens that cause commonly spread illnesses, such as colds, influenza, and norovirus.
Regular handwashing , when it is done correctly, helps reduce the risk of spreading germs and bacteria. According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), handwashing can prevent about 30% of diarrhea-related sicknesses and about 20% of respiratory infections.
Encourage hand hygiene by placing signage about the importance of handwashing in public restrooms and providing students with on-the-go options, such as hand sanitizer . Although these are simple tactics, they can significantly impact the student illness rate across college campuses.
Embrace hands-off technology
Implementing touchless technology across campus is an innovative and hands-off way to promote hygienic practices. Public restrooms are home to numerous types of bacteria, making them a common place to pick up illnesses. Installing touchless appliances—such as automatic paper towel dispensers, toilet handles, and sink faucets—can help reduce high-touch surface areas, minimizing the spread of germs .
Touch-free restroom appliances also promote sustainability by reducing the number of plastic soap bottles and the need for transportation to restock inventory. Other campus high-touch surfaces where you can install touch-free technology include door handles in public spaces such as dormitories, cafeterias, study halls, and other on-campus buildings.
Prioritize hygiene
Help students feel reassured that their health and safety is a top priority as they return to campus this fall. Start the school year strong and ensure a successful learning experience for everyone by promoting regular hygiene practices and implementing new strategies to reduce the spread of illnesses.

How College Campus Cleaning Impacts Students
by Archie Heinl | Apr 12, 2023 | Operations | 0 comments
Don’t underestimate the positive impact you can have on students with expert college campus cleaning
It’s fair to say that colleges and universities are germ factories. How could they not be? You have hundreds or even thousands of young adults living in close quarters in dorms, with hundreds more off-campus students, staff, and faculty joining them each day. It’s a playground for viruses and bacteria. Of course, this likely isn’t news if you’re part of a college campus cleaning team.
What might be news, however, is that campus cleaning isn’t just about the physical health of students, staff, and visitors. There’s much more to it than preventing the spread of germs. The cleanliness (or lack thereof) on a college campus can influence the psychological health of students, the enrollment of future students, and even the longevity of campus assets, such as furniture or flooring. Let’s take a look at some of the details.
If you’re ready to increase the professionalism of your cleaning operation through better organization, easy access to important data, unparalleled tracking, and more, schedule a call with JM today !
College campus cleaning: What it really means to students
To understand the impact that college and university campus cleaning has on students, let’s review some numbers.
A study at Brigham Young University found that 88 percent of students are distracted by even moderately dirty or messy environments, and 84 percent believe a clean and tidy environment is conducive to learning. A study at the University of Minnesota came to similar conclusions, noting that good “indoor environmental quality” is directly related to “positive student outcomes.”
Another study at a chess tournament found that “an increase in the indoor concentration of fine particulate matter […] increases a player’s probability of making an erroneous move by 26.3%.” Furthermore, a study of air quality and pollution published in the Journal of Environmental Economics and Management cites a direct connection between high rates of air pollution and increased depressive symptoms. Though the study isn’t specific to college campus cleaning, it’s easy to extrapolate that people feel better in clean environments.
Of course, this isn’t terribly surprising. No one wants to live and work in a dirty space. And if you have allergies at all, you understand the detrimental effect of high levels of “fine particulate matter.”
The Environmental Protection Agency adds to the reasons efficient and effective campus cleaning is important. Indoor pollutants can lead to coughing, eye irritation, headaches, sneezing, congestion, and general discomfort. And dust and mold growth in HVAC systems can spread these pollutants through an entire building.
It’s not just current students impacted by campus cleaning quality. The cleanliness of a campus can also shape the overall impression of the school on future students. In a 2019 study at Western Kentucky University , Lucinnda Sue McDonald found that dirty and poorly maintained facilities led to negative impressions of colleges. She notes that “nonverbal messages,” such as overflowing trash bins or dirty floors, send a message, whether intended or not.
Cleaning & Maintenance Management ( CMM ) reported the findings of a study of 500 parents of high school students looking at colleges. 48% listed campus cleanliness as one of the top three considerations in selecting a college with their child. And 84% of parents said that campus cleanliness was at least somewhat important.
We shouldn’t ignore the effect on teachers and university staff, either. One look at “Sick Building Syndrome” makes it clear that cleanliness is important to workers, as well. In fact, it may be more impactful, as students move from building to building, while many faculty and staff remain in the same buildings or even offices throughout the day and week.
It’s important not to ignore many of the things we already know, too, such as the fact that rats, mice, and bugs tend to show up in places that aren’t clean, leading to even more potential problems. Furthermore, the facilities themselves wear out more quickly when they don’t get regular cleaning. For example, think about what standing water does to wood floors or the way a dirty carpet wears out as grime and grit are continually ground in as people walk across it.
If you’ve ever doubted the importance of college and university campus cleaning, these facts should make it clear that the janitorial community provides a great service. And should you ever find that you need the numbers to showcase the necessity of your work, with the information here, there can be no doubt that your work is essential for the greater good of the entire university community.
The work of commercial cleaners and building services can often go under-appreciated, and even unnoticed. Still, the work you do has a positive impact on everyone in your community, whether they realize it or not.

The 10 Best Ways to Make Your School Campus More Sustainable

Do you find that your campus isn’t very green but you’re not sure what to do about it? There are so many ways for school campuses to be more sustainable with the right initiatives and support. It’s important for universities and students to be leaders in green movements because academics and students are often seen as the precursors and motivators for change in the rest of society. Evidently, it’s not always easy to make the switch to a greener campus because some options require a lot of investment from the school, but challenges and obstacles don’t mean that it’s not worth trying. Here are 10 different ways that you can promote sustainability and help your college go green.
1. Install Recycling and Composting Stations on Campus
The easiest way to start having a more sustainable college campus is by improving the recycling and composting program. It’s an easy thing to implement and a sure win for green initiatives. Every location on campus that currently has a trash bin should also get a recycling bin – either a couple for different materials or a single-stream option. You can also add a bin for organic waste. This can reduce up to 50 percent of misdirected waste. These bins can come with simple images to show users what waste goes in which bin.
There are certain easy actions you can take to get this going on your campus, such as contacting local recycling facilities and finding out what materials they accept. Speak with your school’s facility unit to find extra bins and label them properly. With their approval, add these bins in the busiest parts of the school, especially where there are already garbage bins and near food vendor sites.
2. Set Up an E-Waste Drive
If there’s one place full of outdated and unusable electronics, it’s college campuses. Consider hosting an e-waste collection drive to successfully promote sustainability on your campus. Simply speak with the facilities department for permission and put collection bins in a parking lot of the campus.
Talk to local businesses and vendors to find out which ones accept electronics and if they accept bulk deliveries. Ask your university or local area businesses to sponsor the drive, and use social media to share information about the drive, including a list of all the accepted electronics.
3. Start a Moving Season Donation Program
During moving season from dorms, there is often a lot of junk to go through from clothes students don’t want to keep to extra food in the kitchens. Instead of all these items going into the trash bin, set up a donation program so this stuff can go to people in need.
George McNulty, an educator at State Of Writing and Boom Essays , suggests that you “connect with local charities to find out the best way to organize this program. Students can donate all their unwanted items and food (non-perishables) to the partner charities instead of sending it all to landfill.”
4. Get Active with Bike Rentals
Biking around campus and to and from home is much better for the environment than taking a car or even the bus. Setting up a bike-share program is an excellent way to encourage students to not drive during the semester. Ask the school administration to pitch in for the bike costs, locks, racks, and any associated maintenance costs. Not only is it greener and reduces vehicle emissions, but it promotes exercise and a healthier lifestyle. It also helps students to think greener in general.
5. Attend Summits on Sustainability
What better way to expose the student population to the benefits of sustainability than meeting people with similar mindsets and going to a sustainability event? Look into sustainability events in your area and organize a school trip to one. It’s a great way to increase membership of a sustainability-on-campus committee and bring great ideas to campus.
As per Kyle Frasier, a teacher at Assignment Writing Service and Paper Fellows, “another option is a sustainability fair which covers concepts like energy efficiency. Ask advocates in your region to come to speak at school on reducing waste, energy-saving techniques, and how everyone can do their part to reduce environmental impacts.”
6. Reduce Paper Waste
Schools are some of the worst offenders when it comes to paper waste, from exams to syllabus and course content. Talk to your administration about different ways to reduce paper waste, from online course materials to digitizing a lot of the library resources. The library building is another great place to go ask for support in reducing paper waste on campus.
7. Visit Renewable Energy Buildings
You can organize a tour for a day to a building that is renewable energy or a leader in sustainability to get inspired for your own college campus. Check out solar-powered buildings or LEED-certified ones. They will often host tours and learning experiences for students that want to know more about sustainable architecture and building with renewable energy.
Look into nearby wind farms to visit or solar installations. This is a good way to find out the possibilities available and start planning projects for your green campus. You can often learn about how those initiatives got started and get good advice.
8. Start a Garden on Campus
A great green initiative is to start a community garden for organic produce. You can either grow produce in partnership with the dining hall or local food options or donate what you grow to the local food bank or pantry. It’s a good way to educate campus students and faculty on healthy living.
Gardening is also a great stress reliever and contributes to good mental health. Jenny Paulson, an eco blogger at Big Assignments and Ox Essays, says that you should “speak to your administration about the best place to start this community garden and find great charities in the area that you could meet with to donate fresh veggies.”
9. Bring in Composting
Similarly to the recycling program and adding some organic waste receptacles around town, you should start a full composting program on campus. Food waste builds up quickly on campus due to all the food options and cafeterias. When you compost, there’s a lot less food sent to landfill. You can even look into using biodegradable tableware instead of plastic options in the dining hall. Composting can include everything from scraps left behind from food preparation to what’s left on plates in the dining hall. The difference in what goes to composting versus the landfill is massive and you’ll save tons of unnecessary waste from landfill.
10. Think Long Term
You should set some short and long term goals for your campus. There’s nothing too ambitious for your sustainability program, so think about pledges to neutralize greenhouse gas emissions, carbon neutrality by a certain year, and even fund a certain amount towards research and education efforts each year. When students are made aware of sustainable living practices, they often carry those habits into their life beyond college.
The biggest step is making sure that sustainability is front and center in everyone’s mind. By adopting these ideas, you can help make your college campus more sustainable.

The Importance of Keeping College Campuses Clean
College campuses see hundreds or thousands of people every day. From instructors and students to visitors and guest speakers, your institution sees many new and similar faces. A regular campus cleaning schedule is imperative for creating a welcoming and safe environment for everyone visiting your campus.
Whether you want to impress one-time guests or keep your students comfortable, a clean institution says a lot about you. The state of your institution reflects the care you give your space and resources, and a clean campus shows that you care about student success, staff productivity and general safety.
The benefits of campus cleaning include keeping your school members safe, productive and proud to be a part of your community. Many potential students and other guests also evaluate the cleanliness of an institution before enrolling or visiting. Keeping your college campus clean has the following advantages:
Boosting Productivity
Understanding the importance of campus cleaning can help keep your faculty and students productive. People like spending time in clean locations, and research shows a link between clean environments and productivity for students. Areas free of clutter promote activities and general enjoyment. School staff and students will be more productive when sitting with their work without getting distracted by clutter.
Students also tend to model what they see, and you can encourage your students to be more productive by having institution leaders lead by example. Messy and disorganized classrooms and offices show students that cleanliness and care are not necessary for their own work or homes. They may procrastinate completing assignments, skip classes or only give half of their typical effort toward their work when they feel unorganized or messy.
Promoting Safety
Unkempt campuses can cause injuries to school participants. Students don’t want to watch for spills and puddles as they rush to class or head home after a long day, but minor accidents can quickly cause injuries if they slip and fall. Boxes in hallways, sticky surfaces and debris in doorways can create a safety hazard resulting in injuries.
You must also give attention to areas where construction is taking place. Although a new building or classroom addition may benefit your students in the long run, you don’t want to make the construction an inconvenience for your current students. Construction sites regularly see debris, mud and sawdust, and screws or other loose objects can hide in the rubble.
Students who need to pass these sites can come in contact with particles that impede their health or injure them and distract them from learning. Finding a construction cleaning service can help reduce the chance of injuries.
You should keep your exterior clean as well. Overgrown grass, large piles of dead leaves and other debris can cause those walking nearby to trip and possibly injure themselves. In the winter, large snow mounds and ice can create a slippery slope for school members to fall. Cracks in the sidewalk can tangle with shoe strings and result in twisted ankles. Landscaping and cleaning services that keep your campus looking pristine inside and out can attract attention and help keep your students and faculty safe.
Nurturing Health
Campuses house many people daily. Some will be more healthy than others. Regardless, germs are on every surface and can quickly spread from one student or staff member to the next. A clean environment promotes healthy students and staff. Regularly cleaning your campus can help reduce bacteria spread from person to person, keeping your students and staff safe and healthy.
A student who frequently gets sick may miss classes or neglect their schoolwork, potentially putting them behind their peers and compromising their ability to pass classes. Sick instructors may take a leave from work or frequently request to use their sick days, leaving students without instructors to lead their classes and impeding their academic success.
Even if your students and staff continue showing up for class and meetings, they may experience other health issues that affect their experience. For instance, a clean campus can help ease asthma and allergy symptoms. Mold, pollen and dust can gather in unkept places, making breathing difficult for those with allergies or asthma. They might frequently cough or blow their noses or get painful headaches. A clean college campus improves the air quality and makes everyday functions possible and enjoyable.
Assisting College Infrastructure
Light fixtures, electronic equipment, waterways and other resources are essential to running your institution smoothly. Without proper care, these systems can experience damage and wear that makes them challenging to use or causes them to break, impeding your operations. Removing dust, cleaning leaks and wiping sticky surfaces will keep these resources running correctly.
When you regularly clean your campus, you can identify potential problem areas before they worsen. Some maintenance problems can be costly and challenging to fix if you neglect them for too long. Additionally, furniture and carpets will last much longer if you take care of them and ensure they receive the proper cleaning. You can save significant costs by keeping your current setup clean rather than replacing it with a newer model later.
Encouraging Enrollment
Many students today expect to feel as comfortable, secure and safe in college as they do at home. A pleasant and attractive campus is essential to students and plays a part in their enrollment decision . Students want to walk through sparkling hallways, sit in organized classrooms, meet in tidy offices and experience clean restrooms.
A clean campus nonverbally communicates to students that the administration cares about them and their experience. When students see their school making improvements, they recognize that they are trying to guide them to success and provide them with the resources they need.
Additionally, when your institution tries to attract new students, a good reputation will go a long way. If students see pristine pictures on your website but attend a tour to find spills on the floors and debris cluttering classrooms, they may feel like your institution led them to believe falsehoods and may not trust your school is the best fit for them.

Clean Campuses Promote a Positive Learning Environment
March/April 2023
Due to the increase in COVID-19 cases and other diseases such as influenza the level of cleanliness becomes a priority for Americans at Universities, Schools, and public spaces.
F ive years ago, mopping the floors and cleaning the restrooms of educational institutions used to be the standard of a “clean space.” As pandemic protocols are left behind and students return to school, many questions come to mind, including—how clean will my space be? This is a question and concern for many today, but there are a few things to take into consideration, especially as we continue to deal with Covid-19 cases and other viruses on a daily basis.
Covid-19 is not the only virus that haunts us. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the overall burden of influenza (flu) for the 2021-2022 season was an estimated 9 million flu illnesses; 4 million flu-related medical visits; 100,000 flu-related hospitalizations; and 5,000 flu deaths.
“Our expectations have shifted from visibly clean to microscopically safe,” says Dija Ziane, Head of Facility Services Division at Grupo EULEN. “Students, staff, and visitors go back and forth in campus facilities, and a high level of cleanliness is a priority for a well-maintained educational institution.”
Creating a Positive Learning Atmosphere
Clean no longer means the absence of dirt and appearance of a clean facility anymore—the pandemic taught people much more. The facility services industry is ramping up and gearing towards an awakening where people expect the grade of cleanliness seen in hospitals. If staff and students do not feel safe and comfortable at their workspace or coming into school five days a week, chances are they will shift to remote learning.
Schools are a common ground for germs and illnesses, especially in elementary schools where children are building their immune systems and are more prone to getting sick than adults. When constant sickness occurs, absenteeism increases, and student performance can be affected.
The Cleanliness Factor
Also, a clean campus can prevent deterioration. Proper cleaning practices in the long run are an investment, not only because you are giving the property the necessary maintenance, but also you are helping the community. Parents, teachers and students will value the importance of keeping the campus clean.
The facility services industry offers technologies that will help make sure that educational and public spaces are safe and sanitized for infection prevention while focusing on cleaning with process optimization. These processes usually include Sanitizing & Electrostatic Spraying technology and registered EPA Chemicals to provide clean, disinfected, and sanitized facilities in compliance with CDC and OSHA recommendations.
From elementary schools to college campuses cleaning and disinfecting coupled with pest management, HVAC and electric maintenance; are all services you can perform to maintain the cleanliness needed at your facility.
“As we head into a recession, companies need partners that will not cut costs but that will leverage innovations and deliver tailored solutions,” she added.

College campus cleaning services: a comprehensive approach.
- December 5, 2023
Picture a bustling college campus, where students rush to classes, professors engage in lectures, and administrative staff keep the institution running smoothly. Amid this vibrant energy, it’s easy to overlook a less glamorous reality—college campuses can get surprisingly dirty. With countless individuals passing through every day, maintaining cleanliness becomes a daunting challenge. However, the cleanliness of a college campus is more than just a matter of appearance. It directly impacts the well-being and productivity of everyone on campus. In this blog post, we will delve into the world of College Campus Cleaning Services and how our comprehensive approach can transform these spaces into havens of wellness and productivity .
The Importance of College Campus Cleaning Services
Maintaining a clean and well-organized college campus is not just about aesthetics; it directly impacts the overall learning and working environment. Here are some key reasons why investing in professional cleaning services for colleges is crucial:
1. Health and Safety
A clean campus is a healthy campus. With so many people nearby, colleges can become breeding grounds for germs and allergens. College campus cleaning services help reduce the risk of illness and provide a safe environment for students and staff. Moreover, a healthier campus minimizes the disruption caused by illnesses, allowing for uninterrupted learning and research.
2. First Impressions Matter
Prospective students and their parents often visit campuses before making enrollment decisions. A clean and well-maintained campus creates a positive first impression, potentially influencing enrollment numbers. A pristine environment communicates the college’s commitment to excellence and provides tangible evidence of a well-cared-for educational institution, which can greatly impact a student’s choice of where to pursue their education.
3. Enhanced Productivity
A clean and clutter-free environment fosters productivity among students and staff. When classrooms, libraries, and common areas are clean and inviting, it’s easier for everyone to focus on their studies and work. This heightened productivity contributes to an environment where students can excel academically, and educators can deliver their best teaching.
4. Compliance and Regulations
Colleges must adhere to stringent health and safety regulations. Professional cleaning services are well-versed in these requirements and ensure that the campus remains compliant. This reduces the risk of legal issues. By maintaining a clean and regulated campus environment, colleges not only avoid potential fines but also create a sense of security and well-being among the campus community, further enhancing the overall educational experience.

3. Specialized Services
Colleges often have specialized areas, such as science labs or athletic facilities, that require unique cleaning approaches. Professional cleaning services can provide specialized cleaning for these areas, ensuring cleanliness and safety. By tailoring their methods to the specific needs of these spaces, they contribute to maintaining not only cleanliness but also the longevity of valuable equipment and facilities.

Between classes, extracurriculars, and a social life, cleanliness in college is easy to overlook when you’re a student. But that’s no excuse for school administrators to ignore the importance of a safe, sanitary learning environment that sets students up for success. Here’s why it matters.
Prioritize creating a safe and clean college campus that supports a successful learning environment. Maintaining a well-kept campus not only helps improve the school’s appearance, but also has been shown to impact students’ education.
During the pandemic, colleges across the country are relying on a team of essential workers to keep campuses clean and safe: the cleaning staff.
The cleanliness (or lack thereof) on a college campus can influence the psychological health of students, the enrollment of future students, and even the longevity of campus assets, such as furniture or flooring. Let’s take a look at some of the details.
One of the biggest challenges for colleges during the pandemic has been keeping the campus clean and safe. Take the University of Florida, for example, with its 35,000 undergrads.
Here are 10 different ways that you can promote sustainability and help your college go green. 1. Install Recycling and Composting Stations on Campus. The easiest way to start having a more sustainable college campus is by improving the recycling and composting program. It’s an easy thing to implement and a sure win for green initiatives.
Schools play a pivotal role in molding a child’s character, and cleanliness is an essential trait that needs to be instilled. By maintaining a clean environment, schools can set an example and encourage students to adopt cleanliness in their daily lives.
Clean campuses can retain students and faculty, boost productivity, help enrollment and promote safety. Schedule a cleaning with The Facilities Group.
A clean school sends a positive message—we care about our people. A clean environment prospers a positive learning atmosphere. Hallways, classrooms, desks, these all need proper cleaning practices given the rotation of students, especially on campuses that house thousands of students.
College campus cleaning services help reduce the risk of illness and provide a safe environment for students and staff. Moreover, a healthier campus minimizes the disruption caused by illnesses, allowing for uninterrupted learning and research.
