Anybody get accepted in georgetown and not planning to go? please save us waitlisted folks some misery and decline offer :D .... anyway i would like to hear from fellow TM members who got accepted or waitlisted at georgetown

I remember them sending out some acceptances, but there was no big wave really. It seems there have been a lot of waitlists with funding. I'm a little confused because I've been accepted/waitlisted to higher-ranked schools.
Also, a question here if anyone knows the answer. According to GC last year, Georgetown also gave out some unfunded offers. So if someone turns down an offer with funding, do they give it to an unfunded candidate or someone on the waitlist for admission and funding?

Yeah, I was a little confused too given the other places I've gotten into. I wonder if "fit" played a big role? No clue, but I guess it doesn't matter much. Your second question is really interesting, though...I do wonder how that works...:hmm:
