সাধারণত জাতীয় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের মাস্টার্স শেষ বর্ষের দ্বিতীয় পর্বে শিক্ষার্থীদের টার্ম পেপার লিখতে দেওয়া হয়। টার্ম পেপার নিয়ে বিস্তারিত আলোচনা করার আগে আপনাকে টার্ম পেপার সম্বন্ধে স্পষ্ট ধারণা দিতে হবে। সবকিছুর আগে জেনে নিতে হবে টার্ম পেপার আসলে কি। আপনাদের অনেকেরই টার্ম পেপার সম্পর্কে স্পষ্ট ধারণা রয়েছে আবার অনেকে জানেনই না যে টার্ম পেপার কি জিনিস। তো চলুন জেনে নেওয়া যাক টার্ম পেপার আসলে কি।

টার্ম পেপার লেখার নিয়ম

জাতীয় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের অধীনে যারা মাস্টার্সে পড়াশোনা করছেন তাদের একটি উল্লেখযোগ্য কোর্স হলো টার্ম পেপার। এছাড়াও প্রাইভেট বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় এবং পাবলিক বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় বিভিন্ন শিক্ষাবর্ষে অথবা বিভিন্ন ইয়ারে টার্ম পেপার লিখতে দেওয়া হয় এবং এটার উপর নির্দিষ্ট কোর্স থাকে। তাই কোন বিষয়ের টান পেপার কিভাবে লিখবেন সে বিষয়ে আমরা যদি আপনাদেরকে জানিয়ে দিতে পারি তাহলে সেটা আপনাদের জন্য অনেক ভালো হবে এবং টাইম পেপার সঠিকভাবে লিখে নিয়ে সে অনুযায়ী তা সাবমিট করলে পূর্ণ নাম্বার পাওয়ার সম্ভাবনা রয়েছে। যেহেতু এটা একটা একাডেমিক বিষয় এবং সব সময় একাডেমিক ক্ষেত্রে আপনার কাছ থেকে কর্তৃপক্ষ সৃজনশীলতা খুঁজে সেহেতু আপনি অবশ্যই ট্রার্ম পেপার লেখার ক্ষেত্রে আপনার সৃজনশীলতার বিকাশ ঘটাবেন।

তাই টার্ম পেপার লেখার ক্ষেত্রে আপনাকে যে সকল টপিক প্রদান করা হবে সেই সকল টপিকের ভেতর থেকে সাধারণত সবাই যে টপিকের উপরে লিখছে সেটা বাদ দিয়ে অন্য একটা টপিক নির্বাচন করবেন। টার্ম পেপার লেখার ক্ষেত্রে বেশ কয়েকটি হেডিং আপনাদেরকে সংযুক্ত করতে হবে এবং আলাদা আলাদা বিভাগ অনুযায়ী এই হেডিং হয়ে থাকার কারণে আমরা এখানে প্রধান না করে আপনার বিভাগের বিগত টার্ম পেপার থেকে একটু জ্ঞান অর্জন করুন।

এক্ষেত্রে শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানের ক্লার্কের কাছে গিয়ে বিগত বছরের টার্ম পেপারের নমুনা চাইলে তারা আপনাদেরকে যেমন প্রদান করবে তেমনিভাবে ডিপার্টমেন্টের বড় ভাইদের থেকে আপনারা এ বিষয়ে সহায়তা চাইলে তারাও হয়তো আপনাকে বন্ধুসুলভ আচরণ দেখে টান পেপার লেখার নিয়ম জানিয়ে দিতে পারে। তাই টার্ম পেপারের প্রত্যেকটি টপিক এবং প্রত্যেকটি হেডিং যাতে ঠিকঠাক মতো থাকে এবং সে অনুযায়ী নিজেদের মতামত প্রকাশ করতে পারেন সে বিষয়টি আপনাকে নিশ্চিত করতে হবে।

টার্ম পেপার কেমন পেজে লেখা উচিত

টার্ম পেপার লেখার জন্য সবচেয়ে ভালো কাগজ বেছে নেওয়া উচিত। আমাদের বিভিন্ন অফিসিয়াল কাজে আমরা সাধারণত A4 সাইজের কাগজ ব্যবহার করে থাকি। টার্ম পেপার লেখার জন্যও আপনারা এ ফোর সাইজের কাগজ ব্যবহার করবেন। সাধারণত ফটোকপির দোকানগুলোতে স্বল্প মূল্যে এফোর সাইজের কাগজ সব সময় পাওয়া যায়। প্রয়োজন মত এফোর সাইজের কাগজ কিনে আপনার টার্ম পেপার লেখা সম্পন্ন করূন।

টার্ম পেপারের কভার পেজ

টার্ম পেপারের সকল সৌন্দর্য এর কভার পেজে। টার্ম পেপারের কভার পেজ যত সুন্দর হবে এটি দেখতে তত সুন্দর হবে। টার্ম পেপারের কভার কিভাবে তৈরি করবেন তা এখন আলোচনা করব। টার্ম পেপারের cover এ কি কি তথ্য দেওয়া লাগবে তা জেনে নিন।

টার্ম পেপারের কভারে বেশ কিছু তথ্য দেওয়ার প্রয়োজন হবে। প্রথমত আপনি যে টপিকের উপরে টার্ম পেপারটি লিখছেন সেই টপিকটি শিরোনাম হিসেবে দিতে হবে। কভার পেজের উপরের দিকের মাঝখানে শিরোনাম লিখে টপিকটি লিখতে হবে। কভার পেজের বাম দিকে তত্ত্বাবধায়কের নাম, পদবি এবং কলেজের নাম দিতে হবে। কভার পেজের ডানদিকে উপস্থাপকের নাম, শিক্ষাবর্ষ, রোল ও কলেজের নাম দিতে হবে। এখানে একটি কথা জানিয়ে রাখা ভালো যে উপস্থাপক বলতে আপনাকে বোঝানো হয়েছে। অর্থাৎ উপস্থাপকের নামের জায়গায় আপনার নাম ,শিক্ষাবর্ষ, রোল ও আপনার কলেজের নাম দিতে হবে। এভাবে আপনি আপনার টার্ম পেপারের জন্য একটি সুন্দর কভার পেজ তৈরি করতে পারবেন।

কভার পেজের পরে প্রথম পেজটাতে প্রত্যয়ন পত্র লিখতে হবে। এই প্রত্যয়ন পত্রটি আপনাকে লিখতে হবে কিন্তু প্রত্যয়ন করবে তত্ত্বাবধায়ক। প্রত্যয়নপত্রে দেওয়া থাকবে যে এই টার্ম পেপারটি উপস্থাপক নিজে গবেষণা করে টার্ম পেপারটি তৈরি করেছেন এবং তত্ত্বাবধায়ক প্রত্যক্ষভাবে তা মূল্যায়ন করেছেন। প্রত্যয়ন পত্রের নিচে তত্ত্বাবধায়ক এর নাম পদবী ও স্বাক্ষর থাকবে।

প্রত্যয়ন পত্রের পরের পৃষ্ঠায় ঘোষণা পত্র লিখতে হবে। অর্থাৎ আপনি, এই টার্ম পেপারের উপস্থাপক ঘোষণা করবেন যে এই টার্ম ব্যাপারে সকল তথ্য নিজের সংগ্রহ করে উপস্থাপন করেছেন এবং আপনার গবেষণাপত্রটি সম্পূর্ণ মৌলিক। ঘোষণা পত্র টির নিচে আপনার নাম শিক্ষাবর্ষ রোল ও কলেজের নাম দিতে হবে। ঘোষণা পত্রে লিখতে হবে যে এই গবেষণাপত্র টি আপনি অন্য কোন প্রতিষ্ঠানে অথবা প্রকাশনায় প্রকাশ করেননি। আপনার গবেষণাপত্র টি যে একেবারে মৌলিক তা প্রমাণ করবে এই ঘোষণা পত্র। তবে আপনি যদি এই গবেষণাপত্রটি অন্য কোথাও প্রকাশ করে থাকেন তবে আপনার টার্ম পেপারটি বাতিল হয়ে যেতে পারে।

কৃতজ্ঞতা স্বীকার

টার্ম পেপারের এই অংশে আপনাকে তত্ত্বাবধায়ক এর কাছে কৃতজ্ঞতা স্বীকার করতে হবে। আপনার তত্ত্বাবধায়ক কিংবা সুপারভাইজার নিজে প্রত্যক্ষভাবে আপনার গবেষণা পত্রটি মূল্যায়ন করেছেন এই জন্যই তার কাছে আপনি কৃতজ্ঞতা স্বীকার করবেন।

আপনার টার্ম পেপারের লেখাগুলো নিয়ে যদি কোন কথা থেকে থাকে তবে এই অংশে লিখে দিতে পারবেন। আপনার নিজের সম্বন্ধে যদি কোন কথা থাকে বা গবেষণা টপিক নিয়ে যদি কোন আলোচনা থাকে তবে স্বল্পপরিসরে এখানে বর্ণনা করতে পারবেন।

প্রতিটি বইয়েরই একটি সূচিপত্র থাকে। সূচিপত্রের মাধ্যমে আমরা নির্দিষ্ট পৃষ্ঠায় খুব সহজে পৌঁছে যেতে পারি। টার্ম পেপারের সৌন্দর্য ধরে রাখতে একটি সূচিপত্র তৈরি করতে হবে। কোন পৃষ্ঠায় কি আছে তা সঠিকভাবে বর্ণনা করতে হবে সূচিপত্রের মধ্যে।

সূচিপত্রের পরের পৃষ্ঠায় ভূমিকা দিতে হবে। এখানে আপনার গবেষণার টপিকটির কিছু শুরুর দিকের কথা আলোচনা করতে পারেন। ভূমিকায় খুব বেশি কিছু না দিলেও চলবে তবে স্বল্প পরিসরে আলোচনা করা ভালো।

সহায়ক গ্রন্থাবলী

সম্পূর্ণ গবেষণায় আপনি কোন কোন বইয়ের সাহায্য নিয়েছেন তা এখানে সংযুক্ত করে দিতে পারেন। এ থেকে আপনার তত্ত্বাবধায়ক নিশ্চিত হবেন যে আপনি নির্ভরযোগ্য উৎস থেকে তথ্যগুলো সংগ্রহ করেছেন। এরপরের পৃষ্ঠা থেকে আপনি নির্দিষ্ট অধ্যায় ভাগ করে সম্পূর্ণ টার্ম পেপারটি লিখে ফেলতে পারবেন। যে পৃষ্ঠায় যে অধ্যায় লিখবেন তার শিরোনাম সূচিপত্রে সংযুক্ত করে দিবেন। আশা করি এভাবেই আপনি একটি আকর্ষণীয় টার্ম পেপার তৈরি করতে সক্ষম হবেন।

টার্ম পেপার কি.

টার্ম পেপার এর বাংলা অর্থ হলো বিশ্লেষণমূলক রচনা। যে কোন একটি বিষয়ের উপর বিশ্লেষণ ধর্মী ও গবেষণামূলক একটি প্রবন্ধ কে একাডেমিক ভাষায় টার্ম পেপার বলা হয়। পূর্বে জাতীয় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে টার্ম পেপার বলে কোন সেকশন ছিলনা কিন্তু পরবর্তীতে ২০১৩-১৪ সেশন থেকে জাতীয় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে মাস্টার্সে টার্ম পেপার অ্যাড করা হয়। টার্ম পেপার মূলত কলা অনুষদ, ব্যবসা অনুষদ ও সমাজ বিজ্ঞান অনুষদের জন্য ৫০ নম্বরের একটি বিশেষ প্রক্রিয়া।

আপনি যদি সঠিক নিয়ম ফলো করে টার্ম পেপার জমা দেন তাহলে খুব সহজেই এ ৫০ নম্বর পেয়ে যাবেন কিন্তু সঠিক নিয়ম ফলো না করলে অনেক ক্ষেত্রে সম্পূর্ণ নাম্বার পাওয়া যায় না। আজকে আমরা দেখাবো কিভাবে সঠিক নিয়মে পেপার লিখতে হয় এবং মাস্টার্স টার্ম পেপার এর নমুনা দেখাবো। আশা করছি আমাদের নিয়োম ফলো করে টার্ম পেপার লিখলে আপনি সম্পূর্ণ ৫০ নাম্বার পাবেন।

টার্ম পেপার কিভাবে লিখতে হয়

টার্ম পেপার যেহেতু একাডেমিক পেপার তাই এটি লেখার নির্দিষ্ট কিছু নিয়ম রয়েছে নিচে আমরা টার্ম পেপার লেখার নিয়মগুলো ধারাবাহিকভাবে বর্ণনা করার চেষ্টা করছি। আশা করছি মাস্টার্স টার্ম পেপার এর নমুনা ফলো করে টার্ম পেপার লিখলে আপনি সম্পূর্ণ নাম্বার পাব কোন ঝামেলা ছাড়াই।

• আপনার  টার্ম পেপার টি কমপক্ষে 300 ওয়ার্ড এর হতে হবে
• একটি আদর্শ টার্ম পেপারে কমপক্ষে 25 থেকে 30 দিন পেইজ থাকতে হয় হে কমবেশি হলে সমস্যা নেই তবে কমপক্ষে 25 পেয়েছে থাকা উচিত 
• টার্ম পেপার অবশ্যই এ ফোর সাইজের কাগজে লিখতে হবে নরমাল দিস্তা খাতায় লিখতে হবে না
•  এ ফোর সাইজের কাগজের এক পৃষ্ঠায় দেখবেন অর্থাৎ কাগজের এক পাশে থাকবেন অন্য পা খালি থাকবে 
• সম্পূর্ণ পেপারটি পরিষ্কার ও পরিমার্জিত রাখার চেষ্টা করবেন অযথা ডিজাইন কিংবা আঁকাআঁকি না করাই ভালো

টার্ম পেপার কিভাবে তৈরি করতে হয়

• এরপর আপনার টিচার বা সুপারভাইজারের নাম ও পদবী দিতে হবে।
• এবং সর্বশেষ জমা দানেরতারিখ দিতে হবে।

টার্ম পেপারের ঘোষনা পত্রে যা যা থাকতে হবে

 ঘোষণাপত্র টার্ম পেপারের একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অংশ। যথার্থভাবে ঘোষণাপত্রের অংশটি না দিলে আপনি পরিপূর্ণ ৫০ নাম্বার পাবেন না। ঘোষণাপত্রে মূলত সম্পূর্ণ টার্ম পেপার কিভাবে লিখেছেন তা সংক্ষেপে বর্ণনা করতে হবে। অর্থাৎ আপনি যে তথ্যগুলো কা্ন্টলে করেছেন তার সোর্স এবং আপনার সম্পূর্ণ টার্ম পেপার লেখার প্রক্রিয়া নিজের মতো করে সংক্ষেপে বর্ণনা করবেন। যদি টার্ম পেপারে সম্পূর্ণ নাম্বার পেতে চান তাহলে এই অংশটি ভালোভাবে লিখার সাজেশন থাকবে।

প্রত্যায়ন পত্র টার্ম পেপারের আরেকটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ এবং বিশেষ অংশ। এই অংশে আপনি আপনার শিক্ষক বা সুপারভাইজারের সম্মতি জ্ঞাপন এর কথা উল্লেখ করতে হবে। অর্থাৎ আপনার টার্ম পেপারটি যে শিক্ষক বা সুপারভাইজার অনুমোদন দিয়েছেন তা সংক্ষেপে বর্ণনা করতে হবে।

কৃতজ্ঞতা স্বীকার যা যা লিখতে হবে 

কৃতজ্ঞতা স্বীকার ব্যাপারে একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অংশ । এই অংশে মূলত শিক্ষার্থী টার্ম পেপার তৈরি করার জন্য যেসব শিক্ষক, সুপারভাইজার কিংবা বিভিন্ন অনলাইন সোর্সের সাহায্য নিয়েছে তাদের প্রতি কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করবে এবং তাদের নাম বা প্রতিষ্ঠান নাম উল্লেখ করবেন।

সারসংক্ষেপে যা যা লিখতে হবে

 এ অংশে পুরোটা প্রবন্ধ সম্পর্কে একটি  ওভারভিউ দিতে হবে। অর্থাৎ আপনার .২৫ থেকে ৩০ পৃষ্ঠার পেপারটিকে একটি ছোট প্যারাগ্রাফ এর মাধ্যমে ব্যাখ্যা করতে হবে যাতে আপনার সুপারভাইজার খুব সহজে বুঝতে পারে আপনি কোন বিষয়ের উপর সম্পূর্ন টার্ম টি লিখেছেন। এতে করে আপনার প্রবন্ধ সম্পর্কে খুব সহজেই একটি ধারনা ও পাওয়া যায়।

For more than a decade, we have seen that at the university level in Bangladesh, girls have achieved better academic results than boys. Academics have blamed boys for their outward attitude and misuse of mobile phones and the internet. The study is conducted to investigate the important factors that affect the academic performance of university level students in Bangladesh. And it has also been determined how much higher the risk is due to the low academic performance of males than females. A cross sectional study is conducted among 960 students of 12 top public universities in different locations in Bangladesh. For each university, we have selected an equal number of male and female graduate and postgraduate students only who have passed within recent three years. Here we consider the merit position in graduate and postgraduate label (1-10th place) as a dependent variable and the marital status, parent's educational level, guardian's occupation, households income status (BDT), family status, residential area, background educational result, girlfriend/boyfriend relationship status, career goal, smoking status, involvement of student politics, tuition trend, internet using time, a library using stat us, residential place in the study period, class attendance as the independent variable. Binary logistic regression model, chi-square test and simple descriptive analysis are used for data analysis. The binary logistics model is used to find out the factors for better academic results among male and female students.

Holistic development of a country requires diligent participation from every section of people regardless of race, class or gender. In this respect, female education is considered as a dynamic ladder for human resource development in the truest sense. This study aimed at revealing the loopholes of female education among the secondary and higher secondary level female students in rural Bangladesh. This qualitative research followed a semi-structured way of interviewing the participants who were basically the female students of SSC and HSC level and some other persons associated to their education. The participants were primarily chosen from Shariatpur district and Madaripur district of central Bangladesh as the representatives of rural areas. The findings of the research revealed a number of barriers faced by female students including familial inclination to female education, lack of social awareness, financial insufficiency, misinterpretation of religious values, sometimes the psychological ignorance of the students themselves as well. This research also shed some light on the reduction of the obstacles. It recommended some crucial moves like the initiation of educational workers, enough financial assistance, ensuring moral and religious support etc. to smoothen the way to female enrichment through education.

This paper investigates the enrollment behavior of the female students of private universities in Bangladesh. By collecting data from a sample of 900 female students of twelve private universities classified into two strata, researchers conducted reliability test, descriptive analysis, chi-square and ANOVA tests and identified a number of key findings as to the enrollment behavior of female students. The research shows that the female students mostly prefer BBA program followed by BA in English. In the Faculty of Science and Engineering, BS in Pharmacy gets the highest preference. In Post Graduate level MBA and MA in English programs are the preferred subjects. The most important factor for the female students of one strata (top ranked private universities) during admission is the quality of teaching of the university, followed by the image of that university. On the contrary, the female students of other private universities look for lower tuition fees of their preferred program. For the both strata, parents’ decision has a significant influence. Finally, the female students of top ranked universities are highly satisfied with the image of their universities while the female students of other universities are dissatisfied with the overall performance of their universities.

A cross sectional analysis was formulated to explore the Pukhtun's societal dilemma i.e., female getting higher education (Dependent variable) with respect to sociocultural hindrances (independent variable) through perceptional based dynamics at Bacha Khan University Charsadda. A sample size of 306 female respondents was selected from total 1500 registered female students in 2020 as per Sekeran's Magic Table. Quota sampling technique was used for the distribution of sample size among the selected categories of respondents. A three point Likert scale structured questionnaire encompassing all the study attributes was used after pre-testing. Furthermore, descriptive and inferential statistics was used for the analysis of data. Alike male cohorts the pursuit of higher education by females is the need of the twenty first century whereby they may have the probability to positively utilize it for economic gains, Socialization of children's and development of her societies. In the present era with almost many opportunities of pursuing female higher education parents are still least interested in female higher education, due to the harassment and exploitation cases towards them by teachers, classmates and educational administration.

The main objective of this study is to examine the existing situation of results of the graduate students at Islamic University in Kushtia, Bangladesh as well as to identify the factors associated behind this issue. An analysis has been performed by using the primary data which collected form the graduate students of Islamic University under simple random sampling technique. Chi-square test for dependency checking has been performed as Bivariate analysis. After performing Bivariate analysis Multinomial logistic regression analysis has been performed. Statistics show that the emerging picture of women education in West Bengal is in backstage. This poor scenario of women education is noticeable mostly in rural area. There women have to face several socio-cultural hurdles to acquire education. Among the serious obstacles to women education, or dropping out from schools are child marriage, societal gender stereotypical perspective, Patriarchal social culture, school environment etc. Enabling girls to complete their education is to invest in future progress of the society. This paper is an effort to capture the emerging picture of women’s education in West Bengal. Also it covers the extent, causes, consequences, and policy responses made to the problem of women dropouts.

Question   Does acetaminophen use during pregnancy increase children’s risk of neurodevelopmental disorders?

Findings   In this population-based study, models without sibling controls identified marginally increased risks of autism and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) associated with acetaminophen use during pregnancy. However, analyses of matched full sibling pairs found no evidence of increased risk of autism (hazard ratio, 0.98), ADHD (hazard ratio, 0.98), or intellectual disability (hazard ratio, 1.01) associated with acetaminophen use.

Meaning   Acetaminophen use during pregnancy was not associated with children’s risk of autism, ADHD, or intellectual disability in sibling control analyses. This suggests that associations observed in other models may have been attributable to confounding.

Importance   Several studies suggest that acetaminophen (paracetamol) use during pregnancy may increase risk of neurodevelopmental disorders in children. If true, this would have substantial implications for management of pain and fever during pregnancy.

Objective   To examine the associations of acetaminophen use during pregnancy with children’s risk of autism, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and intellectual disability.

Design, Setting, and Participants   This nationwide cohort study with sibling control analysis included a population-based sample of 2 480 797 children born in 1995 to 2019 in Sweden, with follow-up through December 31, 2021.

Exposure   Use of acetaminophen during pregnancy prospectively recorded from antenatal and prescription records.

Main Outcomes and Measures   Autism, ADHD, and intellectual disability based on International Classification of Diseases, Ninth Revision and International Classification of Diseases, Tenth Revision codes in health registers.

Results   In total, 185 909 children (7.49%) were exposed to acetaminophen during pregnancy. Crude absolute risks at 10 years of age for those not exposed vs those exposed to acetaminophen were 1.33% vs 1.53% for autism, 2.46% vs 2.87% for ADHD, and 0.70% vs 0.82% for intellectual disability. In models without sibling control, ever-use vs no use of acetaminophen during pregnancy was associated with marginally increased risk of autism (hazard ratio [HR], 1.05 [95% CI, 1.02-1.08]; risk difference [RD] at 10 years of age, 0.09% [95% CI, −0.01% to 0.20%]), ADHD (HR, 1.07 [95% CI, 1.05-1.10]; RD, 0.21% [95% CI, 0.08%-0.34%]), and intellectual disability (HR, 1.05 [95% CI, 1.00-1.10]; RD, 0.04% [95% CI, −0.04% to 0.12%]). To address unobserved confounding, matched full sibling pairs were also analyzed. Sibling control analyses found no evidence that acetaminophen use during pregnancy was associated with autism (HR, 0.98 [95% CI, 0.93-1.04]; RD, 0.02% [95% CI, −0.14% to 0.18%]), ADHD (HR, 0.98 [95% CI, 0.94-1.02]; RD, −0.02% [95% CI, −0.21% to 0.15%]), or intellectual disability (HR, 1.01 [95% CI, 0.92-1.10]; RD, 0% [95% CI, −0.10% to 0.13%]). Similarly, there was no evidence of a dose-response pattern in sibling control analyses. For example, for autism, compared with no use of acetaminophen, persons with low (<25th percentile), medium (25th-75th percentile), and high (>75th percentile) mean daily acetaminophen use had HRs of 0.85, 0.96, and 0.88, respectively.

Conclusions and Relevance   Acetaminophen use during pregnancy was not associated with children’s risk of autism, ADHD, or intellectual disability in sibling control analysis. This suggests that associations observed in other models may have been attributable to familial confounding.

How do Muslims celebrate Eid?
