Tiktoker queen paloma reacts after being trolled for leaving ‘toxic’ marriage.

Queen Paloma

TikTok star Queen Paloma made headlines when she announced that she is leaving her 6-year marriage.

She announced this when she posted a video talking to her children about why they are moving to a new house.

In the viral TikTok, she explained to her children that the new house may not have all the amenities they are used to but things will eventually be better when she gets on her feet and replaces them.

Her children were very understanding of the situation which left Paloma very emotional.

Later Paloma went on TikTok live and asked her followers and fans to help her fundraise to relocate to a different country where she can start life afresh.

However, Paloma is yet to relocate and this has puzzled her followers who contributed money for her.

Since then, she has been dealing with trolls asking her what happened.

In a recent TikTok Live session, Queen Paloma said, “I have decided not to respond to any personal questions because everything I say is misconstrued and twisted out there.”

Adding, “Then you start asking me to send you back the money you contributed.”

One fan asked her if she got a visa to leave the country. In a sarcastic tone, Paloma responded, “Which visa? I have no idea.”

She noted, “People got to know about my story halfway and did not take time to understand it and now I don’t want to respond to anyone when they ask personal questions.”

Paloma continued, “I’m good to those who are good to me. To those who love me, I love them back and those who know me personally know the kind of person I am.

She vowed not to return even a single cent.

“People come to insult and abuse me and they did not contribute anything.”

Paloma is still in the country and is still active on her TikTok page as a content creator and social media influencer.

Paloma (drag queen)

French drag performer / from wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

Hugo Bardin (born June 30, 1991), known professionally as Paloma , is a French drag performer , singer, director and screenwriter. She is best known for winning the first season of Drag Race France .

Paloma explains the Drag Race/Walking Dead crossover you never expected to see

"Norman Reedus gave me a big hug and said, 'Oh my God. I'm so happy to meet you.'"

Next up, we're speaking to Drag Race France season one winner Paloma about her role on The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon .

Image no longer available

The impossible happens all the time in The Walking Dead and Drag Race too, albeit in very different ways, but even so, these are two worlds that no one could have ever predicted would meet. That is until now, with the arrival of Paloma , Drag Race France's very first winner, in the first season of the The Walking Dead 's Daryl Dixon spinoff .

The role of Coco was actually written specifically for Paloma (more on that later), but even she hasn't been allowed to watch the "very confidential" show just yet. "I can't spoil anything. Out of all the script, I was only given my part, so I don't know what's happening."

Still, Paloma's role shouldn't be as shocking as it has been for some people (more on that later too). After all, horror has long resonated with queer fans who can see aspects of their own lives play out in these tales of outsiders and those deemed "monstrous" by society. Drag, in particular, has a rich history of intertwining with horror, as seen most recently with the success of The Boulet Brothers' Dragula .

To find out more, Digital Spy caught up with Paloma just days after the new winner of Drag Race France was crowned to discuss her role in Daryl Dixon and how Drag Race changed her life.

hugo bardin paloma

How did you become involved with The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon ?

It's quite a funny story because I have to confess I haven't seen The Walking Dead . It's not a show I knew.

One day my phone just rang and it was my agent who told me, "They want to meet you for The Walking Dead ." There was no audition, it was just a meeting. They wanted to see me and hear me speaking English. And I was like, "Okay. Why not?"

The casting director told me, "There is no one else in mind for the character. It's for you. I've been waiting for you."

So I passed the test. It was good for them. And the first day of shooting? Norman [Reedus] just jumped on me, gave me a big hug, and was like, "Oh my God. I'm so happy to meet you. I'm a fan."

Later, in my dressing room, the scriptwriter told me that Norman asked them to write a part for me. He told me Norman is a very big fan of Drag Race in general, but of France in particular. One of his dreams is to make a show with RuPaul. Norman has a show on his bike in America. He wants to invite RuPaul onto that.

Norman is married to Diane Kruger. She's half-French, half-German and she lives in France. The night after my first day of shooting, she wrote to me, "Congratulations on the shooting. Norman was so happy. We have seen every episode of Drag Race ."

And I was like, "Oh my God. You are the inspiration for the role of Coco." With the costume designer, I had said, "I want to be Diane Kruger in Inglourious Basterds ." So it was just a perfect match.

Talk us through shooting these underground club scenes in a post-apocalyptic world.

The set was amazing. It's really realistic and in a way, very theatrical. They built the sewers under the ground of Paris. In Paris, we have the Catacombs, which is a very famous place full of bones and skeleton. And that's the entrance of the club. Under Paris, with the humidity and the dust, they imagine a world inspired by gay Paris, by Moulin Rouge. I am a showgirl with feathers. It's very French [ Laughs ].

Is there anything you can tease for fans of Drag Race who might not normally watch shows like The Walking Dead ?

My fans and Drag Race fans are so happy to see me on the show.

The other part is another story because the Walking Dead fans are not all fans, they are not all LGBTQ+ friendly. They're like, "What are you doing on this show?" Well, it's the future.

We're sorry to hear you've had to deal with that negative reaction.

No, I just saw a few comments, but when you make a big move like this, when you want to change the world and the world's point of view, there is damage on the road. It's a risk.

Talk us through your past year as the reigning queen of Drag Race France . What's taken you by surprise?

Everything that happened to me was unexpected. I made so much stuff. I starred in TV shows and movies. I did music, which is not my forte. I'm working on an album. I have my my solo tour in one month. A lot of stuff.

Has it been surreal watching season two of Drag Race France after winning season one?

I'm really blessed because the show is such a big thing. During season one, we didn't know the show would explode in France. The success is not only in France, it's international, and that's the biggest accomplishment for the show, I think.

"I'm not mad to take off my crown. It's not a relief, but it's my time. I was ready."

Being the first queen to win, I'm really lucky to have been a part of this season and to have all these opportunities. Seeing the phenomenon become so big is a joy for me and for all the queer creatives in France because in France we are very late on this subject. Really late.

It was time, really, because on TV, there are not so many queer characters. There is not so many queer personalities. The TV hosts don't reveal they're queer. It's been old-fashioned, so I think Drag Race has changed a lot of things.

paloma, drag race france

The season-two finale was so much fun to watch and your look was phenomenal. Can you share the inspiration behind it?

At first, I did not want to make this look. I wanted to make something red and very Elizabethan-style, but I'd already done that before, so I wanted something light and joyful instead, because I'm not mad to take off my crown. It's not a relief, but it's my time. I was ready.

The Lilac Fairy from Peau d'âne ( Donkey Skin , in English) is a very important character in gay culture, French cinema. The actress behind the role, Catherine Deneuve, is a very famous, bisexual actress. The character is very special. It's mothering and it's modern and it's queer at the same time, so it's a perfect symbol. And I am in my purple era [ Laughs ].

We love this idea of you embodying a mother-type figure as you handed the crown over to Keiona . What was that moment like for you?

She's my sister. For so many years, we've worked in the same house. Not the Revlon house, which is from ballroom, but we are part of a cabaret team in Paris. Keiona is so joyful. She's so nice. She's a star really. She embodies the essence of a star. I knew if she got on season two, she was going to win. And she did.

I love Sara Forever. Sara is like my twin. We are the same person in some ways, but I knew Keiona was the way to go for the season because she represents so many things beyond Drag Race . She's a Black queen from ballroom, from voguing. She's a dancer. She was on Legendary . She was so good in Legendary .

I think Keiona represents France, but she represents the world as well. I am very French, so I think I was the perfect choice for the first season because I'm so "Made in France." But she's made for the whole world.

You've also been hosting Drama Queens , a Pit Stop- style show for Drag Race France season two. Do you think that will continue for season three?

The producers of Drag Race France did not know about The Pit Stop . So one day I told them, "Oh, there is a thing in the USA. It's all that good stuff. I want to do it." It's my baby now, in some ways.

"Keiona represents France, but she represents the world as well."

Drama Queens was a big, big, big success in France. It was aired very late in the night in France, but people were still there for it. The producer told me it's a very big success, so we're going to continue.

Now we've had an all-winners season and international crossover seasons as well, would you be interested in joining an International All-Winners edition of Drag Race ?

I would love to do it. I have to work on my English I think if I go on because I understand English very, very well, but I don't speak it very often, so my English is really bad. I don't want to be the French person who can't speak. I want to be at my best, so I have to work on it.

But if they asked for me, I will be there for sure. Anything from Drag Race , I will be there. I'm very grateful for the franchise. I'm not one of those queens who say, "Oh, I have done Drag Race , now don't speak about Drag Race ." I will do anything.

I want to host, to be a guest judge. That's my goal.

paloma, drag race france

Looking back, is there a particular queer show or film that really speaks to you in some way, that's really resonated?

Recently, I've been so amused and so inspired by What We Do In The Shadows . It's my favourite show, I think. It's not a queer show, but it's so queer in so many ways. Characters are bisexual, but it's not the subject. It's like this: "Okay, I'm gonna f**k you." I love this. It's really queer, and they're obviously big fans of Drag Race. I can tell watching the show. It's a drag show.

From the past, my favourite series of all time is obviously Absolutely Fabulous , which is not really queer, but it's so important in queer culture.

I like when the queerness is not the subject. It's just there because it's more open to the world then and everybody can relate. Yes, I'm queer. But what does it mean? I want queerness everywhere.

Do you have any advice for young queer people who might be struggling right now, whether it's because of recent political shifts or they're just grappling still with their own personal identity?

First of all, you are not alone. And now, we have a voice. We can speak. We have a TV show. We have a platform to speak on, so you are not alone.

When Drag Race France aired last year, I received so many messages from young people who didn't know about Drag Race , who felt very, very alone in the countryside somewhere in France. They told me, "Thank you. I am not feeling alone anymore."

"When visibility won't be a subject anymore, our lives, our existence, won't be a subject anymore."

The most important thing is to know that you are not alone. We are so many, like a queer army right now. We are going to protect you. But unfortunately in France, and in the world in general, a fascist political extreme is using us as a scapegoat.

They are taking opportunities to talk about us, but we are not the real problem. The problem is another problem, and they're using us to say, "Oh, look at them. Clowns in front of our babies, our children." Oh my god, I hate children. I am never going to do a reading for children. There are three drag queens in France who read to the kids, and it's like, "Oh my God. We are everywhere reading books."

The most important thing for me is to be visible. To be in a public place. To be seen. Visibility is key because when visibility won't be a subject anymore, our lives, our essence, our existence won't be a subject anymore. I think visibility is the key for a lot of things.

What's next for you?

I have a lot of things on at the same time. I have my podcast, "Absolument Fabuleuses", a riff on Absolutely Fabulous , where I have guests on every week with Elodie Petit of Elle Magazine. I'm working on season two of Daryl Dixon . It's filming right now. I have my solo tour on the road for six months. I'm recording an album for myself. And there's a lot of projects with fashion, with Jean Paul Gaultier.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon premieres on September 10 on AMC in the US. A UK broadcaster has yet to be announced.

Everything You Should Know About Queen Letizia of Spain

By Madeleine Luckel

Queen Letizia

If you’re semi-familiar with Princess Charlene , Princess Caroline , and the royal princesses of Sweden , chances are that you’ve at least heard of Spain’s Queen Letizia. Perhaps you saw her recent stylish turn in an olive-green cape dress , or perhaps you have a faint recollection that she used to be a journalist. But compared to royal heavy-hitters like Kate Middleton , she is relatively unknown on this side of the Atlantic.

So, what exactly should you know about the Queen of Spain? Queen Letizia was born Letizia Ortiz Rocasolano in Oviedo, Spain in 1972. She was the first child of Jesús José Ortiz Álvarez and María de la Paloma Rocasolano Rodríguez, who went on to have two more daughters together. Her mother worked as a nurse, while her father pursued a career in journalism. Letizia, for her part, went on to follow in her father’s footsteps. She reported for a series of newspapers, before ultimately working in Spanish broadcast television. Notably, she was an anchor for Telediario, a nightly news program in Spain, and covered the 2000 U.S. presidential election.

Queen Letizia

In 2003, she became engaged to Felipe, Prince of Asturias. The engagement came as a surprise to many, not only because Letizia is one of the few non-royals to become engaged to a royal , but also because she had been previously married. In 1998, Letizia wed teacher Alonso Guerrero Pérez. The marriage ended in divorce the following year.

King Felipe VI of Spain, Queen Letizia and their two daughters in Palma de Mallorca on August 8, 2015.

After ten years as Princess of Asturias, Letizia became Queen in 2014. She assumed her new title when her father-in-law, King Juan Carlos, abdicated the throne, and her husband became King Felipe VI of Spain. At the time, there was much speculation as to how Letizia could in fact boost Spain’s fashion industry . And if her style—and that of her family —is any indication, she may indeed be well on her way.

Before they were royal: The life of Queen Letizia of Spain

queen paloma biography

Born Letizia Ortiz Rocasolano on 15 September 1972 in Oviedo, Asturias, Spain, the future royal was the eldest daughter of the journalist Jesús José Ortiz Álvarez and registered nurse and hospital union representative María de la Paloma Rocasolano Rodríguez. Letizia has two younger sisters, Telma and the late Érika.

Her compulsory education saw her attend the public La Gesta School in Oviedo, as well as the Alfonso II Institute, before moving to the Ramiro de Maeztu High School in Madrid when she was 14.

When Letizia was in her late 20s, her parents divorced. Her father would remarry in 2004 to journalist Ana Togores – just a couple of months before her wedding to the then Prince of Asturias.

Following in her father’s footsteps, Letizia decided to enter the world of journalism after receiving her bachelor’s degree in the subject from the Complutense University of Madrid. She later obtained a master’s degree from the Institute for Studies in Audiovisual Journalism in audiovisual journalism. It was during her studies at university that she began her career, first at the newspaper  La Nueva España  and later  ABC  and news agency EFE. While completing her final year of university, Letizia worked in the international edition department of EFE News Agency. The future Queen of Spain would later travel to Mexico to begin her PhD studies; she also worked with newspaper Siglo 21 while in the country.

Letizia began her journalism career in Madrid working for the city’s branch of Bloomberg TV. According to Casa Real, while employed there, she specialised “in the economy, finance and the markets, under the supervision of the EFE News Agency.” Her career would next see her working for a private channel as a reporter, editor, and broadcaster for CNN+.

By 2000, she was working for Televisión Española on the editing team for Telediario Segunda Edición and served as the presenter of the programme Informe Semanal. The future Queen of Spain was also the presenter for the morning programme  Telediario Matinal . Letizia travelled the world reporting on significant events including to the United States after the September 11, 2001, terror attacks. While with the news organisation, she later joined the editing team for the society, education and science department.

Letizia would later rejoin  Telediario Segunda Edición to co-anchor and be part of the editing team once again. Her hard work did not go unnoticed, and she was rewarded for her skill and dedication when she won the Larra Prize by the Madrid Press Association – given to the most outstanding journalist under 30 for the year.

Letizia would marry in August 1998 to the high school teacher, Alonso Guerrero Pérez in a civil ceremony. The couple had been together for ten years. However, the marriage would only last a year, and they divorced.

The award-winning journalist met then Prince Felipe at a dinner set up by a fellow journalist at Felipe’s request in late 2002. They exchanged numbers but didn’t begin dating right away (Felipe had to ask at least four times for her to agree to a date). Felipe and Letizia were able to date in secret until they shocked most of Spain with their engagement announcement – as most had no idea the future monarch was dating the journalist they were used to seeing on their screens. Their engagement was announced on 1 November 2003 with a confident Letizia telling Felipe during their meeting in front of the media, “Let me finish.”

Letizia and Felipe married on 22 May 2004 with Letizia becoming the Princess of Asturias upon marriage. The couple has two daughters, Leonor, Princess of Asturias (b. 2005) and Infanta Sofía (b. 2007). Upon the abdication of his father, King Juan Carlos, Felipe became the King of Spain with Letizia becoming Queen in 2014.

Who is Queen Letizia of Spain? The TV reporter who became one of the world's most glamorous royals

By Ollie Macnaughton

Queen Letizia of Spain celebrates her 51st birthday today

Queen Letizia of Spain celebrates her 51st birthday today

It is an important day for one of the world's most glamorous royals as Queen Letizia of Spain , the radiant wife of King Felipe VI, celebrates her 51 st birthday.

Born on 15 September 1972 as Letizia Ortiz Rocasolano, the queen came from a middle-class family in Otezia, Northern Spain. Her parents were journalist Jesús José Ortiz Álvarez and nurse María de la Paloma Rocasolano Rodríguez.

Much like her father, Letizia harboured ambitions to become a journalist, ultimately pursuing a bachelor’s degree in the field at the Complutense University of Madrid. After the end of her degree, the future queen doubled down, gaining a master’s degree in audiovisual journalism from the Institute for Audiovisual Journalism Studies. On graduating, she worked at both the Spanish language versions of both Bloomberg and CNN . During her time as a journalist, she reported on major events including 9/11 and the Iraq War. In 1998, she married Alonso Guerrero Pérez, a writer, but they divorced just one year later.

In 2004, she married then Prince Felipe of Asturias, son of King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia of Spain. The couple had met at a mutual friend's dinner party two years prior. It was a happy and glamorous day that felt like a fairytale and made headlines around the world due to the queen's status as a ‘commoner’ and her previous career in journalism, which she was forced to give up for royal duties.

Letizia became the Queen of Spain in 2014 when King Juan Carlos abdicated in favour of his son. The couple share two children, Princess Leonor, 17, and Infanta Sofia, 16. Felipe and Letizia were recently pictured together, waving off Leonor who just began her required military training. The two have been praised for their work as king and queen, particularly for their recognition of the LGBT community.

To celebrate Letizia's birthday, Tatler presents a gallery of the life and times of one of the world’s most popular royals.

Paloma Rocasolano, the mother of Queen Letizia, ‘invisible’ at the Princess of Asturias Awards

Paloma Rocasolano, the mother of Queen Letizia, ‘invisible’ at the Princess of Asturias Awards

The grandmother of the heiress to the throne always maintains a very discreet role in the ceremony.

Furthermore, the eyes were also set on the Queen Sofia and the rest of the Royal Family , which met in one of the most complicated moments as a result of the scandals related to Don Juan Carlos I. However, there was another guest who also stood out despite her intention to go unnoticed: Paloma Rocasolano .

In addition, in her desire not to attract attention and to diminish the prominence of her granddaughter Princess Leonor, Paloma Rocasolano attended the ceremony completely alone, without the company of her new partner Marcus Tokuaboh Brandler , a British businessman who trades in cocoa, coffee, tea and spices.

Nor could this year count on his mother, Menchu Álvarez del Valle , who died last July. It has also highlighted the absence of Telma Ortiz , who did attend on previous occasions with her boyfriend Robert Gavin, with whom she just had a daughter whose name is still unknown .

Who Is Vin Diesel's Partner? All About Paloma Jiménez

Vin Diesel and Paloma Jiménez have been together since 2007 and share three kids

queen paloma biography

As one of the world's biggest action stars, Vin Diesel has become a household name and his partner, Paloma Jiménez, has been by his side through it all.

The actor is best known for playing Dominic Toretto, the patriarch of a group of street racers in the Fast and Furious franchise, and currently voices Groot in the Guardians of the Galaxy movies as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Diesel and Jiménez were first romantically linked in 2007, and the pair have since welcomed three children: Hania "Similce" Riley, Vincent and Pauline. Aside from the occasional red carpet appearance, the couple keep their relationship relatively private and off social media.

The model herself maintains a very low profile and does not have social media, but it's clear Diesel has a lot of love for her and their family.

So, who is Vin Diesel's partner? Here is everything to know about Paloma Jiménez.

She is a model

Jiménez was born in Acapulco, Mexico, and worked as a model prior to her relationship with Diesel.

She was the cover girl for Maxim Mexico in January 2005 and Max Mexico in August 2006. She also walked multiple runways including the Spring/Summer ready-to-wear collections in 2006 and 2007 for various designers including Alberto Rodriguez, Carlo Demichelis and more.

She is a very private person

While Diesel is one of the most recognizable actors in Hollywood, Jiménez manages to keep a very low profile. The Mexican model has no social media presence and has remained mum about her relationship with the actor over the years.

Diesel is equally as private about his personal life, and while he does have an Instagram account, Jiménez has only made a few rare appearances on it as he mainly uses it to promote his work.

Despite their inclination for privacy, the couple have stepped out publicly together on numerous occasions. Jiménez has been by her partner's side on the red carpet of many of his movie premieres, including Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Riddick.

Diesel and Jiménez have successfully kept many aspects of their life private, including the birth of their first child; they chose to forego a pregnancy announcement until she was born.

"I didn't want cameras around this event. I wanted this to be as natural as possible," he said during a 2009 appearance on Good Morning America .

She is Diesel's biggest supporter

Jiménez has attended the annual Vanity Fair Oscar Party with Diesel on several occasions. The supportive partner has also accompanied him to multiple premieres of his movies. The entire family was in attendance at the premiere of Furious 7 in 2015, and they also appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno as Diesel promoted Fast and Furious 6 .

Jiménez, Hania and Vincent joined Diesel onstage as he told host Jay Leno and the audience the movie was about "family" — one of the themes Diesel's character is well known for emphasizing throughout the series.

The model and two of his children — Hania and Vincent — were also on hand at Diesel's Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony in August 2013. In his speech , the movie star praised his family for their constant support as he accepted the honor.

"I couldn't have done it without the Mayan queen," he said, using his nickname for Jiménez , "and I couldn't have done it without my little Similce and Vincent, who I love, love, love so much."

She is a mother of three

Diesel and Jiménez welcomed their first daughter, Hania Riley Sinclair, who is also known as Similce, on April 2, 2008. They welcomed their second child, son Vincent Sinclair, on Aug. 15, 2010, and another daughter, Pauline Sinclair, on March 15, 2015, naming her after Paul Walker , Diesel's late friend and Fast and Furious costar.

The couple kept Hania's birth details under wraps, but shortly after she was born, the actor opened up about how the newest addition to their family had changed his perspective.

"Someone once told me that, when you have a child, it opens up parts of your heart that you never knew existed. And it is so true," Diesel told Parade magazine in 2008. "It's like you have a child and you think, 'Everything that I've done up until this point is insignificant in comparison to being a father.' It's a beautiful, beautiful thing."

The dad of three was present in the delivery room for the births of all three of his children, and he shared that when Pauline was born, he felt Walker's presence in the room with them.

"He was in the room [when she was born]," Diesel said during a 2015 appearance on the Today show. "There's no other person that I was thinking about as I was cutting this umbilical cord. I just … knew he was there. It felt like a way to keep his memory a part of my family and a part of my world."

Diesel and Jiménez have also maintained a close relationship with Walker's daughter, Meadow — who is Diesel's goddaughter — and the model considers Diesel, Jiménez and their kids " family ." Diesel even walked Meadow down the aisle at her 2021 wedding and Hania served as her maid of honor .

Two of the pair's children are already following in Diesel's footsteps. Hania starred in Fast and Furious: Spy Racers , the franchise's first animated series, which premiered on Netflix in December 2019. Vincent also became a member of the Fast and Furious family when he played a younger version of his dad's iconic character, Dominic Toretto, in 2021's F9 .

She has some television experience

Diesel may be the major star in the family, but Jiménez has also graced the small screen. In November 2004, the model made an appearance on the Mexican comedy and variety show Otro Rollo con: Adal Ramones .

During its run, the sketch show welcomed stars like Shakira , Sofía Vergara , Ricky Martin , Elton John and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson — who is one of Diesel's costars in Fast and Furious.

She is friends with several celebrities

Emma McIntyre/Getty

Jiménez has befriended several celebrities over the years via Diesel and her work in the entertainment industry.

In December 2023, she was spotted mingling with actors Eiza González and Clifton Collins Jr. at a star-studded event honoring Penelope Cruz in Los Angeles.
