Block Prefer List
Optimal block and prefer lists.
Assumptions
⬥ In the pictures above, the optimal block and prefer lists for XP and GP focused slayer is shown. These are based off the weightings of each task, the blocked tasks are highly weighted and offer low rates in either XP, GP or both. Some high-weight but fast tasks were excluded from the block list, as those are used to build points, such as Dagannoths or Order of Ascension Members.
⬥ The XP-focused tasks have a few assumptions, that Ripper Demons are killed for all Demon tasks, Moss Golems are killed for Creatures of the Lost Grove, and that the player's highest level Soul Devourer is killed.
• If required to, the player should boost with the use of a Wilder Pie to kill higher levelled mobs, to boost their XP rates further.
⬥ Laniakea's special assignment is a very strong task, granting 50k slayer XP and 45 slayer points upon completion, and only requires 1 kill of each Vile Bloom. This takes a few minutes and gives large rewards, so should always be completed. On the other hand, Morvran's special assignment requires many boss kills, takes too much time and gives very little reward, so should be turned off for free, after being completed once for the completionist cape requirement.
How to Use These Lists
⬥ Bad tasks should always be blocked or skipped with quick tasks completed to upkeep slayer points, and never reset your streak via a Spria task, as the streak bonus is very important to gaining slayer points consistently. Due to the nature of some tasks, slayer points can be quite valuable.
⬥ Whilst these lists are optimal, many players will find that they enjoy or dislike tasks, which is perfectly fine. Take into account which tasks you personally prefer, and build your lists around that. The most important thing is to enjoy slaying!

Experimental spray

Experimental spray is an item given to the player by the slayer master Chaeldar in order to complete the special Slayer challenge she assigns. It is used to fight Mutated zygomites , a species of creature native to the city of Zanaris .
This spray is used in the same way as Fungicide spray ; there are three possible outcomes:
- "The experimental spray has sent the zygomite into a furious rage!" The zygomite temporarily turns red, heals a bit, and attacks faster. It can be killed by reducing its life points to 0, without needing another application of the spray.
- "The experimental spray has healed the zygomite!" The zygomite temporarily turns green and its life points are restored to maximum. It can be killed by reducing its life points to 0, without needing another application of the spray.
- "The experimental spray has killed the zygomite!" The zygomite is killed.
The experimental spray does not have charges like the regular spray and apparently can be used against more than 10 zygomites. The chatbox tells the player when it has been used against 10 zygomites (so the player can then go end the challenge). When the player finishes the challenge by speaking to Chaeldar, the experimental spray disappears. The spray cannot be used to kill more than the required 10 zygomites.
If the experimental spray is dropped or lost during the challenge, the player can get another by speaking to Chaeldar. Also note that you do not actually have to kill the 10 zygomites, just use the spray on them.

Slayer challenges are unique challenges occasionally offered by each respective Slayer Masters to players coming to seek a new assignment. It is possible to receive a challenge as a first task from a master. Each master's challenge is different and offers Slayer experience when completed, in addition to the regular slayer experience gained while killing the monsters in the task.

Basically, if you "reroll" a task (get an assignment, say no thanks - either while in the chat dialog, or in the rewards interface - then get a new one), it won't help nor harm your bad luck mitigation.
While I know that the Raptor was never intended to be an end-game Slayer master (the skill guide places him at level 1 Slayer - even though level 10 Slayer is required to start Unwelcome Guests, oddly enough), as an alternative Slayer master, after completing the "A Place for my Heads" achievement, most players will cease to have any interest in continuing to receive assignments from him.
