Du kan opnå en ph.d.-grad ved at gennemføre en 3-årig forskeruddannelse.
På Det Sundhedsvidenskabelige Fakultet kan du tage en ph.d. inden for discipliner som medicin, veterinærmedicin, farmaci, folkesundhed, molekylær biomedicin, medicoteknik, nanoteknologi og sundhedsinformatik.
Ph.d.-vejledning
Du gennemfører dit forskningsprojekt under vejledning af en erfaren forsker.
Ph.d.-kurser
Du anvender cirka et halvt år på at følge kurser. Det kan være kurser i specifikke fagområder eller mere generelle kurser i fx basal statistik, epidemiologi og medical writing.
Undervisning og formidling
Som en del af ph.d.-uddannelsen skal du øve dig i at formidle din forskning. Det kan fx være i form af undervisning eller præsentation ved konferencer.
Miljøskifte og udlandsophold
I løbet af de tre år skal du samlet opholde dig mindst én måned i en anden forskergruppe for at få erfaringer fra andre forskningsmiljøer og for at udvide dit netværk. Ph.d.-skolen anbefaler, at opholdet foregår i udlandet.
Afhandling og forsvar
Du afslutter ph.d.-uddannelsen med en afhandling, som du forsvarer offentligt. Afhandlingen bedømmes af forskere inden for fagområdet. Efter endt ph.d.-uddannelse får du tildelt ph.d.-graden.

The Graduate School recommends new PhD students to complete the course within the first 1-2 months. The course will be mandatory for all new PhD students at SUND from January 2025, and it will be a requirement to complete the course within the first 6 months.
