ग्लोबल वार्मिंग कम करने के उपाय, हमें बिजली के स्थान पर स्वच्छ ऊर्जा जैसे सौर ऊर्जा, पवन ऊर्जा तथा भू-तापिय ऊर्जा द्वारा उत्पादित ऊर्जा का उपयोग करना चाहिए। कोयला, तेल के जलने के स्तर को कम करना चाहिए, परिवहन और ईलेक्ट्रिक उपकरणों का उपयोग कम चाहिए इससे ग्लोबल वार्मिंग का स्तर काफी हद तक कम होगा।

प्रदूषण – धरती पर प्रदूषण दिन प्रतिदिन बढ़ता जा रहा और जिसकी वजह से तापमान में वृद्धि हो रही है। तापमान में वृद्धि होना ग्लोबल वार्मिंग की समस्या का प्रभाव अधिक बढ़ाता है। वायु प्रदूषण, ध्वनि प्रदूषण, जल प्रदूषण तथा भूमि प्रदूषण ये सभी कहीं न कहीं हमारी पृथ्वी को नुकसान पहुंचा रहे हैं। लेकिन इनसे निकलने वाली खतरनाक गैसें धरती के ऊपरी स्तर या वायुमंडल को प्रभावित कर रही हैं, जिनकी वजह से तापमान में उतार-चढ़ाव देखने को मिल रहा है ।

ग्रीन हॉउस गैस – यह साफ है कि ग्रीन हॉउस गैसों के कारण ही ग्लोबल वार्मिंग जैसी खतरनाक समस्या बढ़ रही है। ये गैसें सूर्य से आने वाली गर्मी को अपने अंदर समा लेती हैं। इन सभी गैसों में सबसे खतरनाक सीओ2 गैस है और यदि यह गैस बाकी अन्य जैसे क्लोरीन, नाइट्रोजन ऑक्साइड, मीथेन गैसों से मिलती हैं तो यह हमारी धरती की ऊपरी सतह के रेडियोएक्टिव संतुलन को बिगाड़ते हैं क्योंकि इनमें गर्मी को सोखने की क्षमता अधिक होती है जिसकी वजह से धरती का तापमान बढ़ जाता है।

बढ़ती आबादी – विश्व में बढ़ने वाली आबादी भी इसका अहम कारण है। क्योंकि सीओ2 जैसी गैस मनुष्य ऑक्सीजन लेते वक्त बाहर छोड़ता है, जिसकी वजह से वातावरण में इसकी मात्रा अधिक हो जाती है। इसी कारण ग्लोबल वार्मिंग समस्या बढ़ने लगती है।

जंगलों की कटाई – यह ज्सबको पता है कि इंसान विकास के नाम पर जंगलों की कटाई कर रहा है और प्रकृति को हानि पहुंचा रहा है। हमारे वातावरण का संतुलन बनाए रखने के लिए पेड़ अहम भूमिका निभाते हैं लेकिन इनके कटने से धरती पर गर्मी बढ़ती जा रही है और ग्लेशियर पिघलकर का समुद्र स्तर बढ़ा रहे हैं। जिसके परिणाम स्वरूप कई देश पानी में डूब सकते हैं या फिर इससे काफी तबाही मच सकती है।

औद्योगिक विकास – शहरों के विकास के लिए मानव कई इंडस्ट्रीज और कारखानों का उपयोग कर रहा है। इन्हीं कारखानों से निकलने वाले हानिकारक रसायन, जहरीले पदार्थ, गंदा धुआं और प्लास्टिक आदि पृथ्वी को नुकसान पहुंचा रहे हैं।

ओजोन लेयर का घटना – अंटाकर्टिका में ओजोन की परत घटती जा रही है जो कि ग्लोबल वार्मिंग का अहम संकेत माना गया है और यह क्लोरो फ्लोरो कार्बन गैस के बढ़ जाने की वजह से हो रहा है। यह समस्या भी इंसानों की देन है क्योंकि इंडस्ट्रीज से लेकर घर तक क्लोरो फ्लोरो कार्बन का नियमित उपयोग किया जा रहा है, जिससे की ओजोन को बहुत नुकसान हो रहा है।

ग्लोबल वार्मिंग के परिणाम (Consequences Of Global Warming)

पूरे विश्व में ग्लोबल वार्मिंग एक गंभीर समस्या बन गयी है जिसकी वजह से हमारी प्रकृति को कई तरह से अनचाहे बदलावों से गुजरना पड़ रहा है। कई ऐसी प्राकृतिक घटनाएं है, जैसे बाढ़, सूखा, तूफान आदि जो पृथ्वी का भयंकर नुकसान पहुंचा रहे हैं। सिर्फ इतना ही नहीं ग्लोबल वार्मिंग की वजह धरती के लिए सबसे जरूरी ओजोन की परत भी घटती जा रही है। ओजोन लेयर सूरज से आने वाली हानिकारक अल्ट्रावायलेट किरणों से धरती को बचाता है। लेकिन अब इसमें छेद होने लगे हैं और यदि यह समस्या ऐसे ही बढ़ती गई तो धरती में मनुष्य के साथ किसी भी अन्य जीवों का गुजारा नामुमकिन है। सूरज से आने वाली ये किरणें बेहद हानिकारक होती हैं। सिर्फ इतना ही नहीं इन दिनों ग्लोबल वार्मिंग के कारण मौसम में भी कई तरह के बदलाव देखने को मिल रहे हैं। धरती पर गर्मी बढ़ती जा रही है और सर्दी का समय कम होता जा रहा है। बढ़ती गर्मी की वजह से ग्लेशियर पिघल रहे हैं और उसका पानी समुद्र में जा रहा है जिसकी वजह से समुद्र का स्तर बढ़ रहा है जो कि खतरनाक स्थिति पैदा कर सकता है।

ग्लोबल वार्मिंग रोकने के उपाय (Ways To Prevent Global Warming)

इस समस्या को रोकने के कई उपाय दिए गए हैं जिनका पालन करने से इसमें कमी आ सकती है –

• हमें लोगों को इस समस्या के लिए जागरूक करना होगा ताकि वह इसकी गंभीरता को समझ सकें।
• सरकार को ग्लोबल वार्मिंग जैसी समस्या के लिए कई योजनाएं बनानी चाहिए जिससे लोगों को इसके दुष्परिणामों की जानकारी हो।
• जो वस्तु ग्रीन हाउस गैसें का उत्पादन अधिक करती हैं, उनका उपयोग कम करना चाहिए।
• खुद के निजी वाहन का उपयोग कम कर के सार्वजनिक वाहनों का उपयोग बढ़ा दें।
• जंगलों को नहीं काटना चाहिए बल्कि जितना हो सके अधिक पेड़-पौधे लगाएं।
• एयर कंडीशनर का उपयोग जरूरत भर के लिए ही करें।
• देश की आबादी को नियंत्रित करना जरूरी है।
• प्लास्टिक की थैलियों की वजह कपड़े के थैले इस्तेमाल करें।
• गैसोलीन का इस्तेमाल कम से कम करें।

ग्लोबल वार्मिंग के बारे में रोचक तथ्य (Interesting Facts about Global Warming in Hindi)

• आईपीसीसी 2007 की एक रिपोर्ट के हिसाब से ग्लोबल वार्मिंग के कारण इस सदी के आखिर तक समुद्र का स्तर 7-23 इंच बढ़ जाएगा।
• एक स्टडी के अनुसार, 20वीं सदी के आखिर के दो दशक पिछले 400 सालों में सबसे गर्म रहे हैं।
• ग्लोबल वार्मिंग के कारण आर्कटिक की बर्फ तेजी से पिघल रही है और ऐसा अनुमान है कि 2040 तक यहाँ पूरी बर्फ पिघल जाएगी।
• ग्लोबल वार्मिंग के कारण के कारण विश्व भर में जंगल की आग, लू और भयंकर तूफानों के प्रभाव बढ़ गए हैं।
• मनुष्य अपनी रोज की गतिविधियों के कारण साल में लगभग 37 बिलियन मीट्रिक टन कार्बन डाइऑक्साइड निकाल रहा है।

धरती मनुष्यों के लिए बहुत खूबसूरत तोहफा है और इसको संभालकर रखना भी उनकी ही जिम्मेदारी है। ऐसे में ग्लोबल वार्मिंग की समस्या को ध्यान में रखते हुए इस निबंध को लिखा गया है ताकि हमारी आने वाली पीढ़ी हमारे पर्यावरण के खतरों को समझे और इसकी देखभाल और कदर कर सकें। इस निबंध से बच्चों में जागरूकता फैलेगी और वे आगे आने वाले समय में परिस्थिति को ध्यान में रखते हुए धरती को कम से कम नुकसान पहुंचाने का प्रयास करेंगे।

वायुमंडल में ग्रीनहाउस गैसों की उच्च सांद्रता पृथ्वी पर अधिक गर्मी बढ़ाने के लिए जिम्मेवार है

वैश्विक तापमान में वृद्धि से तूफान, बाढ़, जंगल की आग, सूखा और लू के खतरे की आशंका बढ़ जाती है। एक गर्म जलवायु में, वायुमंडल अधिक पानी एकत्र कर सकता है और भयंकर बारिश हो सकती है।

ग्लोबल वार्मिंग या वैश्विक तापमान में वृद्धि क्या है?

ग्लोबल वार्मिंग औद्योगिक क्रांति के बाद से औसत वैश्विक तापमान में वृद्धि को दर्शाता है। 1880 के बाद से औसत वैश्विक तापमान में लगभग एक डिग्री सेल्सियस की वृद्धि हुई है।  ग्लोबल वार्मिंग एक सतत प्रक्रिया है, वैज्ञानिकों को आशंका है कि 2035 तक औसत वैश्विक तापमान अतिरिक्त 0.3 से 0.7 डिग्री सेल्सियस तक बढ़ सकता है।

ग्लोबल वार्मिंग का क्या कारण है?

कुछ गैसें, जैसे कार्बन डाइऑक्साइड और मीथेन, पृथ्वी के वातावरण में सूरज की गर्मी को अपने अंदर रोकती हैं। ये  ग्रीनहाउस गैस (जीएचजी) वायुमंडल में प्राकृतिक रूप से भी मौजूद हैं।

मानव गतिविधियों, विशेष रूप से बिजली वाहनों, कारखानों और घरों में  जीवाश्म ईंधन (यानी, कोयला, प्राकृतिक गैस, और तेल) के जलने से कार्बन डाइऑक्साइड और अन्य ग्रीनहाउस गैसों को वायुमंडल में छोड़ा जाता है। पेड़ों को काटने सहित अन्य गतिविधियां भी ग्रीनहाउस गैसों का उत्सर्जन करती हैं।

वायुमंडल में इन ग्रीनहाउस गैसों की उच्च सांद्रता पृथ्वी पर अधिक गर्मी बढ़ाने के लिए जिम्मेवार है, जिससे वैश्विक तापमान में वृद्धि होती है। जलवायु वैज्ञानिक मानते हैं कि ग्लोबल वार्मिंग के पीछे मानव गतिविधियां मुख्य है।

क्या जलवायु परिवर्तन ग्लोबल वार्मिंग से अलग है?

एनवायर्नमेंटल एंड एनर्जी स्टडीज इंस्टीट्यूट के अनुसार, जलवायु परिवर्तन और ग्लोबल वार्मिंग का उपयोग अक्सर एक-दूसरे के लिए किया जाता है, लेकिन  जलवायु परिवर्तन मोटे तौर पर औसत मौसम (जैसे, तापमान, वर्षा, आर्द्रता, हवा, वायुमंडलीय दबाव, समुद्र के तापमान, आदि) में लगातार परिवर्तन करने के लिए जाना जाता है जबकि ग्लोबल वार्मिंग पृथ्वी के औसत वैश्विक तापमान में वृद्धि करने के लिए जाना जाता है।

ग्लोबल वार्मिंग का खतरनाक मौसम, तूफान, लू, सूखे और बाढ़ से क्या लेना- देना है?

वैश्विक तापमान में वृद्धि से तूफान, बाढ़, जंगल की आग, सूखा और लू के खतरे की आशंका बढ़ जाती है। एक गर्म जलवायु में, वायुमंडल अधिक पानी एकत्र कर सकता है और बारिश कर सकता है, जिससे वर्षा के पैटर्न में बदलाव हो सकता है।

बढ़ी हुई वर्षा से कृषि को लाभ हो सकता है, लेकिन एक ही दिन में अधिक तीव्र तूफानों के रूप में वर्षा होने से, फसल, संपत्ति, बुनियादी ढांचे को नुकसान होता है और प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में जन-जीवन का भी नुकसान हो सकता है।

ग्लोबल वार्मिंग के कारण समुद्री सतह का तापमान भी बढ़ जाता है क्योंकि पृथ्वी के वातावरण की अधिकांश गर्मी समुद्र द्वारा अवशोषित हो जाती है। गर्म समुद्री सतह के तापमान के कारण तूफान का बनना आसान हो जाता है। मानव-जनित ग्लोबल वार्मिंग के कारण, यह आशंका जताई जाती है कि तूफान से वर्षा की दर बढ़ेगी, तूफान की तीव्रता बढ़ जाएगी और श्रेणी 4 या 5 के स्तर तक पहुंचने वाले तूफानों का अनुपात बढ़ जाएगा।

बढ़ते समुद्र के स्तर से ग्लोबल वार्मिंग का क्या लेना- देना है?

ग्लोबल वार्मिंग दो मुख्य तरीकों से समुद्र के जल स्तर को बढ़ाने में योगदान देता है। सबसे पहले, गर्म तापमान के कारण ग्लेशियर और भूमि-आधारित बर्फ की चादरें तेजी से पिघलती हैं, जो जमीन से समुद्र तक पानी ले जाती हैं। दुनिया भर में बर्फ पिघलाने वाले क्षेत्रों में ग्रीनलैंड, अंटार्कटिक और पहाड़ के ग्लेशियर शामिल हैं।

जलवायु परिवर्तन पर संयुक्त राष्ट्र फ्रेमवर्क कन्वेंशन 2019 अनुसार, ग्लोबल वार्मिंग की वजह 2100 तक 80 फीसदी ग्लेशियर पिघल कर सिकुड़ सकते हैं।

दूसरा, गरमी-संबंधी (थर्मल) विस्तार, वह प्रक्रिया जिसके द्वारा गर्म पानी अधिक जगह लेता है, जिसके कारण समुद्र का आयतन बढ़ जाता है, जिससे समुद्र का जल स्तर बढ़ जाता है।

अन्य कारक समुद्र के स्तर को प्रभावित करते हैं और इन सभी कारकों के संयोजन से पूरे ग्रह में  समुद्र के स्तर में वृद्धि की अलग-अलग दर होती है। स्थानीय कारक जो समुद्र के स्तर को कुछ क्षेत्रों में तेजी से बढ़ने का कारण बन सकते हैं, उनमें समुद्र की धाराएं और डूबती हुई जमीन की सतह आदि शामिल हैं।

1880 के बाद से, वैश्विक औसत समुद्री स्तर में आठ से नौ इंच की वृद्धि हुई है। कम उत्सर्जन वाले परिदृश्य के तहत, मॉडल परियोजना है कि समुद्र के स्तर में वृद्धि सदी के अंत तक 2000 के स्तर से लगभग एक फुट ऊपर हो जाएगी। एक उच्च-उत्सर्जन परिदृश्य के तहत, समुद्र का स्तर 2100 तक 2000 के स्तर से आठ फीट से अधिक बढ़ सकता है।

पृथ्वी का तापमान बढ़ाने वाली ग्रीनहाउस गैसों के बारे में पाँच अहम बातें

किसी ग्रीनहाउस में सूर्य का प्रकाश दाख़िल होता है, और गर्मी वहीं ठहर जाती है. ग्रीनहाउस प्रभाव इसी तरह का परिदृश्य पृथ्वी के स्तर पर भी परिभाषित होता है, मगर किसी ग्रीनहाउस में लगे शीशे के बजाय, कुछ तरह की गैसें, वैश्विक तापमान को लगातार बढ़ा रही हैं.

1. ग्रीनहाउस प्रभाव क्या है?

पृथ्वी की सतह, सौर ऊर्जी के लगभग आधे हिस्सा को जज़्ब कर लेती है, जबकि 23 प्रतिशत गर्मी वातावरण में समा जाती है, और बाक़ी गर्मी या तापमान, वापिस अन्तरिक्ष में लौटा दिया जाता है. प्राकृतिक प्रक्रियाएँ सुनिश्चित करती हैं कि सूरज से पृथ्वी की तरफ़ आने वाली और वापिस जाने वाली उर्जा की मात्रा समान हो, जिससे पृथ्वी का तापमान स्थिर रह सके. 

मगर, मानव गतिविधियों के कारण कथाकथित ग्रीनहाउस गैसों (CHGs) का ज़्यादा उत्सर्जन हो रहा है. वातावरण में मौजूद ऑक्सीजन और नाइट्रोजन जैसी अन्य गैसों के उलट, ग्रीनहाउस गैसें, वातावरण में ही ठहर जाती हैं और पृथ्वी से दूर नहीं जातीं. परिणामस्वरूप ये ऊर्जा पृथ्वी की सतह पर लौट आती है जहाँ ये जज़्ब हो जाती है.

चूँकि पृथ्वी में दाख़िल होने वाली ऊर्जा की मात्रा, वापिस लौटने वाली ऊर्जी की मात्रा से ज़्यादा होती है, इसलिये, पृथ्वी की सतह का तापमान तब तक बढ़ता है जब तक कि नया सन्तुलन हासिल नहीं होता.

2. बढ़ता तापमान चिन्ताजनक क्यों?

इस तापमान वृद्धि के जलवायु पर दीर्घकालीन और प्रतिकूल प्रभाव पड़ते हैं, और इससे बेशुमार प्राकृतिक प्रणालियाँ भी प्रभावित होती हैं. 

इन प्रभावों में चरम मौसम की आवृत्ति (बारम्बारता) और सघनता में बढ़ोत्तरी होना भी शामिल है जिनमें बाढ़ आना, सूखा पड़ना, जंगलों में भीषण आग लगना और तूफ़ान शामिल हैं. इनके कारण करोड़ों लोग प्रभावित होते हैं और ख़रबों डॉलर का नुक़सान होता है.

संयुक्त राष्ट्र पर्यावरण कार्यक्रम ( UNEP ) की ऊर्जा व जलवायु शाखा के प्रमुख मार्क राडका का कहना है, “मानव गतिविधियों के कारण उत्पन्न होने वाले ग्रीनहाउस गैस उत्सर्जन, इनसानों और पर्यावरण के स्वास्थ्य को ख़तरे में डालते हैं. और मज़बूत व ठोस जलवायु कार्रवाई नहीं की गई तो, प्रभाव और भी ज़्यादा व्यापक व गम्भीर होंगे.”

ग्रीनहाउस गैसें का उत्सर्जन जलवायु संकट को समझने व इसका सामना करने की दृष्टि से महत्वपूर्ण है: यूएन पर्यावरण कार्यक्रम की ताज़ातरीन रिपोर्ट में दिखाया गया है कि कोविड-19 के कारण तापमान वृद्धि में मामूली गिरावट हुई है लेकिन, अगर देशों ने उत्सर्जन में कमी करने के लिये, कहीं ज़्यादा व्यापक प्रयास नहीं किये तो, वैश्विक तापमान में इस सदी के अन्त तक 2.7 डिग्री सेल्सियस की ख़तरनाक वृद्धि होने का अनुमान है.

रिपोर्ट में पाया गया है कि अगर इस सदी के अन्त तक, तापमान वृद्धि को पूर्व औद्योगिक काल के स्तर से, 1.5 डिग्री सेल्सियस तक सीमित रखना है तो, ग्रीनहाउस गैसों का उत्सर्जन वर्ष 2030 तक आधा किये जाने की ज़रूरत है.

3. मुख्य ग्रीनहाउस गैसें कौन सी हैं?

पानी से बनने वाली भाप, कुल मिलाकर ग्रीनहाउस प्रभाव में सबसे बड़ा योगदान करने वाला तत्व है. अलबत्ता वातावरण में, लगभग सारा जल भाप, प्राकृतिक प्रक्रियाओं से आती है. कार्बन डाइ ऑक्साइड (CO2), मीथेन और नाइट्रस ऑक्साइड मुख्य ग्रीनहाउस गैसें हैं जिनके बारे में चिन्ता करने की ज़रूरत है. 

कार्बन डाइ ऑक्साइड (CO2) वातावरण में लगभग 1000 वर्षों तक बनी रहती है, मीथेन लगभग एक दशक तक, और नाइट्रस ऑक्साइड लगभग 120 वर्षों तक वातावरण में मौजूद रहती है.

4. मानव गतिविधि से किस तरह ये गैसें उत्पन्न हो रही हैं?

कोयला, तेल, और प्राकृतिक गैस, आज भी दुनिया के अनेक हिस्सों में ऊर्जा के प्रमुख साधन हैं. इन जीवाश्म ईंधनों में कार्बन मुख्य तत्व है और, जब बिजली या ऊर्जा उत्पादन, ऊर्जी प्रेषण, व गर्मी उत्पन्न करने के लिये इनमें से किसी भी तरह के जीवाश्म ईंधन को जलाया जाता है, तो उनसे कार्बन डाइ ऑक्साइड (CO2) उत्पन्न होती है.

मानव गतिविधियों के कारण मीथेन गैस का जितना उत्सर्जन होता है, उसमें लगभग 55 हिस्से के लिये, तेल और गैस निकासी, कोयला खुदाई, और कूड़ा घर ज़िम्मेदार हैं. 

मानव गतिविधियों के कारण उत्पन्न होने वाले मीथेन उत्सर्जन की लगभग 32 प्रतिशत मात्रा के लिये, गायों, भेड़ों और ऐसे अन्य मवेशियों को ज़िम्मेदार माना जाता है, जो अपने पेटों में भोजन की सिरका या ख़मीर प्रक्रिया करते हैं. 

खाद को गलाना या उसका अपघटन करना, और धान की खेती भी, मीथेन गैसे उत्सर्जन के अन्य महत्वपूर्ण कारण हैं.

मानव गतिविधियों द्वारा निर्मित नाइट्रस ऑक्साइड उत्सर्जन मुख्य रूप से कृषि सम्बन्धी गतिविधियों के कारण होता है. भूमि और जल में मौजूद बैक्टीरिया, नाइट्रोजन को प्राकृतिक रूप से नाइट्रस ऑक्साइड में तब्दील करते हैं, मगर उर्वरकों का प्रयोग करने के कारण इस प्रक्रिया में बढ़ोत्तरी होती है जिसके परिणामस्वरूप पर्यावरण में और ज़्यादा नाइट्रोजन एकत्र हो जाती है.

5. ग्रीनहाउस गैसों के उत्सर्जन को कम करने के लिये क्या किया जा सकता है?

नवीनीकृत ऊर्जा का प्रयोग करने, कार्बन की क़ीमत निश्चित करना, और कोयला प्रयोग को चरणबद्ध तरीक़े से ख़त्म करने, जैसे कुछ उपायों से, ग्रीनहाउस गैसों का उत्सर्जन कम किया जा सकता है.  लम्बी अवधि के लिये मानव और पर्यावरण स्वास्थ्य को बेहतर बनाए रखने के लिये, अन्ततः उत्सर्जन में कमी के लिये उच्च व मज़बूत लक्ष्य ज़रूरी हैं.

मार्क राडका का कहना है, “हमें ऐसी ठोस नीतियाँ लागू करनी होंगी जिनसे, बढ़े हुए उत्सर्जन पलट सकें. हम इसी रास्ते पर चलते हुए, बेहतर नतीजों की अपेक्षा नहीं कर सकते. कार्रवाई अभी करनी होगी.”

यूएन जलवायु सम्मेलन कॉप-26 के दौरान, योरोपीय संघ और अमेरिका ने वैश्विक मीथेन संकल्प शुरू किया था जिसके तहत 100 से ज़्यादा देश, वर्ष 2030 तक जीवाश्म ईंधन, कृषि और कूड़ा प्रबन्धन क्षेत्रों में, मीथेन उत्सर्जन में 30 प्रतिशत कमी करने के लक्ष्य पर काम करेंगे.

चुनौतियों के बावजूद, सकारात्मक रुख़ अपनाने और आशान्वित रहने का भी एक कारण मौजूद है. वर्ष 2010 से 2021 तक, ऐसी नीतियाँ बनाई और लागू की गई हैं जिनके ज़रिये वर्ष 2030 तक, वार्षिक उत्सर्जन में 11 गीगाटन की कमी लाने का लक्ष्य है.

सर्वसाधारण भी, जलवायु-सकारात्मक कार्रवाई में, अपना निजी योगदान करने की ख़ातिर विचारों के लिये, संयुक्त राष्ट्र के #ActNow अभियान का हिस्सा बन सकते हैं.

क्या है ग्लोबल वार्मिंग?

आसान शब्दों में समझें तो ग्लोबल वार्मिंग का अर्थ है ‘पृथ्वी के तापमान में वृद्धि और इसके कारण मौसम में होने वाले परिवर्तन’ पृथ्वी के तापमान में हो रही इस वृद्धि (जिसे 100 सालों के औसत तापमान पर 1 0 फारेनहाईट आँका गया है) के परिणाम स्वरूप बारिश के तरीकों में बदलाव, हिमखण्डों और ग्लेशियरों के पिघलने, समुद्र के जलस्तर में वृद्धि और वनस्पति तथा जन्तु जगत पर प्रभावों के रूप के सामने आ सकते हैं। ग्लोबल वार्मिंग दुनिया की कितनी बड़ी समस्या है, यह बात एक आम आदमी समझ नहीं पाता है। उसे ये शब्द थोड़ा टेक्निकल लगता है। इसलिये वह इसकी तह तक नहीं जाता है। लिहाजा इसे एक वैज्ञानिक परिभाषा मानकर छोड़ दिया जाता है। ज्यादातर लोगों को लगता है कि फिलहाल संसार को इससे कोई खतरा नहीं है। भारत में भी ग्लोबल वार्मिंग एक प्रचलित शब्द नहीं है और भाग-दौड़ में लगे रहने वाले भारतीयों के लिये भी इसका अधिक कोई मतलब नहीं है। लेकिन विज्ञान की दुनिया की बात करें तो ग्लोबल वार्मिंग को लेकर भविष्यवाणियाँ की जा रही हैं। इसको 21वीं शताब्दी का सबसे बड़ा खतरा बताया जा रहा है। यह खतरा तृतीय विश्वयुद्ध या किसी क्षुद्रग्रह (एस्टेराॅइड) के पृथ्वी से टकराने से भी बड़ा माना जा रहा है।

ग्लोबल वार्मिंग के कारण होने वाले जलवायु परिवर्तन के लिये सबसे अधिक जिम्मेदार ग्रीन हाउस गैस हैं। ग्रीन हाउस गैसें, वे गैसें होती हैं जो बाहर से मिल रही गर्मी या ऊष्मा को अपने अंदर सोख लेती हैं। ग्रीन हाउस गैसों का इस्तेमाल सामान्यतः अत्यधिक सर्द इलाकों में उन पौधों को गर्म रखने के लिये किया जाता है जो अत्यधिक सर्द मौसम में खराब हो जाते हैं। ऐसे में इन पौधों को काँच के एक बंद घर में रखा जाता है और काँच के घर में ग्रीन हाउस गैस भर दी जाती है। यह गैस सूरज से आने वाली किरणों की गर्मी सोख लेती है और पौधों को गर्म रखती है। ठीक यही प्रक्रिया पृथ्वी के साथ होती है। सूरज से आने वाली किरणों की गर्मी की कुछ मात्रा को पृथ्वी द्वारा सोख लिया जाता है। इस प्रक्रिया में हमारे पर्यावरण में फैली ग्रीन हाउस गैसों का महत्त्वपूर्ण योगदान है। अगर इन गैसों का अस्तित्व हमारे में न होता तो पृथ्वी पर तापमान वर्तमान से काफी कम होता। ग्रीन हाउस गैसों में सबसे ज्यादा महत्त्वपूर्ण गैस कार्बन डाइआॅक्साइड है, जिसे हम जीवित प्राणी अपने साँस के साथ उत्सर्जित करते हैं। पर्यावरण वैज्ञानिकों का कहना है कि पिछले कुछ वर्षों में पृथ्वी पर कार्बन डाइआॅक्साइड गैस की मात्रा लगातार बढ़ी है। वैज्ञानिकों द्वारा कार्बन डाइआॅक्साइड के उत्सर्जन और तापमान वृद्धि में गहरा सम्बन्ध बताया जाता है। सन 2006 में एक डाॅक्यूमेंट्री फिल्म आई - ‘द इन्कन्वीनियेंट ट्रुथ’। यह डाॅक्यूमेंट्री फिल्म तापमान वृद्धि और कार्बन उत्सर्जन पर केन्द्रित थी। इस फिल्म में मुख्य भूमिका में थे - अमेरिकी उपराष्ट्रपति ‘अल गोरे’ और इस फिल्म का निर्देशन ‘डेविड गुग्न्हेम’ ने किया था। इस फिल्म में ग्लोबल वार्मिंग को एक विभीषिका की तरह दर्शाया गया, जिसका प्रमुख कारण मानव गतिविधि जनित कार्बन डाइआॅक्साइड गैस माना गया। इस फिल्म को सम्पूर्ण विश्व में बहुत सराहा गया और फिल्म को सर्वश्रेष्ठ डाॅक्यूमेंट्री का आॅस्कर एवार्ड भी मिला। यद्यपि ग्लोबल वार्मिंग पर वैज्ञानिकों द्वारा शोध कार्य जारी है, मगर मान्यता यह है कि पृथ्वी पर हो रहे तापमान वृद्धि के लिये जिम्मेदार कार्बन उत्सर्जन है जोकि मानव गतिविधि जनित है। इसका प्रभाव विश्व के राजनीतिक घटनाक्रम पर भी पड़ रहा है। सन 1988 में ‘जलवायु परिवर्तन पर अन्तरशासकीय दल’ (Inter Governmental Panel on Climate Change) का गठन किया गया था। सन 2007 में इस अन्तरशासकीय दल और तत्कालीन अमेरिकी उपराष्ट्रपति ‘अल गोरे’ को शांति का नोबल पुरस्कार दिया गया। आई.पी.सी.सी. वस्तुतः एक ऐसा अन्तरशासकीय वैज्ञानिक संगठन है जो जलवायु परिवर्तन से जुड़ी सभी सामाजिक, आर्थिक जानकारियों को इकट्ठा कर उनका विश्लेषण करता है। आई.पी.सी.सी का गठन सन 1988 में संयुक्त राष्ट्र संघ की जनरल असेंबली के दौरान हुआ था। यह दल खुद शोध कार्य नहीं करता और न ही जलवायु के विभिन्न कारकों पर नजर रखता है। यह दल सिर्फ प्रतिष्ठित जर्नल में प्रकाशित शोध पत्रों के आधार पर जलवायु को प्रभावित करने वाले मानव जनित कारकों से सम्बन्धित राय को अपनी रिपोटर्स के जरिए सरकारों और आम जनता तक पहुँचाता है। आई.पी.सी.सी. की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार मानवजनित ग्रीन हाउस गैसें वर्तमान में पर्यावरण में हो रहे तापमान वृद्धि के लिये पूरी तरह से जिम्मेदार हैं, जिनमें कार्बन डाइऑक्साइड की मात्रा सबसे ज्यादा है। इस रिपोर्ट में कहा गया है कि ग्लोबल वार्मिंग में 90 प्रतिशत योगदान मानवजनित कार्बन उत्सर्जन का है। जबकि प्रो. यू.आर. राव अपने शोध के आधार पर कह रहे हैं कि ग्लोबल वार्मिंग में 40 प्रतिशत योगदान तो सिर्फ काॅस्मिक विकिरण का है। इसके अलावा कई अन्य कारक भी हैं जिनका ग्लोबल वार्मिंग में योगदान है और उन पर शोध कार्य जारी है। भारतीय अंतरिक्ष एजेंसी द्वारा ‘इसरो’ के पूर्व चेयरमैन और भौतिकविद प्रो. यू.आर. राव अपने शोध-पत्र में लिखते हैं कि अंतरिक्ष से पृथ्वी पर आपतित हो रहे काॅस्मिक विकिरण का सीधा सम्बन्ध सौर-क्रियाशीलता से होता है। अगर सूरज की क्रियाशीलता बढ़ती है तो ब्रह्माण्ड से आने वाला काॅस्मिक विकिरण निचले स्तर के बादलों के निर्माण में प्रमुख भूमिका निभाता है। इस बात की पेशकश सबसे पहले स्वेन्समार्क और क्रिस्टेन्सन नामक वैज्ञानिकों ने की थी। निचले स्तर के बादल सूरज से आने वाले विकिरण को परावर्तित कर देते हैं, जिस कारण से पृथ्वी पर सूरज से आने वाले विकिरण के साथ आई गर्मी भी परावर्तित होकर ब्रह्माण्ड में वापस चली जाती है। वैज्ञानिकों ने पाया कि सन 1925 से सूरज की क्रियाशीलता में लगातार वृद्धि हुई। जिसके कारण पृथ्वी पर आपतित होने वाले काॅस्मिक विकिरण में लगभग 9 प्रतिशत कमी आई है। इस विकिरण में आई कमी से पृथ्वी पर बनने वाले खास तरह के निचले स्तर के बादलों के निर्माण में भी कमी आई है, जिससे सूरज से आने वाला विकिरण सोख लिया जाता है और इस कारण से पृथ्वी के तापमान में वृद्धि का अनुमान लगाया जा सकता है। प्रो. राव के निष्कर्ष के अनुसार ग्लोबल वार्मिंग में इस प्रक्रिया का 40 प्रतिशत योगदान है जबकि काॅस्मिक विकिरण सम्बन्धी जलवायु ताप की प्रक्रिया मानव गतिविधि जनित नहीं है और न ही मानव इसे संचालित कर सकता है। इस तरह यह शोध आई.पी.सी.सी के इस निष्कर्ष का खंडन करता है कि ग्लोबल वार्मिंग में 90 प्रतिशत योगदान मानव का है। अगर ग्लोबल वार्मिंग के अन्य कारकों का अध्ययन किया जाए तो ग्लोबल वार्मिंग में मानव-गतिविधियों का योगदान आई.पी.सी.सी. की रिपोर्ट की अपेक्षा बहुत कम होगा। प्रो. राव के इस शोध-पत्र के प्रकाशन के ठीक दो दिन बाद विश्व के प्रख्यात वैज्ञानिक जर्नल ‘नेचर’ में यूनिवर्सिटी आॅफ लीड्स के प्रो. ऐन्ड्रयू शेफर्ड का शोध-पत्र प्रकाशित हुआ, जिसमें कहा गया है कि ग्रीनलैंड की बर्फ को पिघलने में उस समय से कहीं अधिक समय लगेगा जितना की आई.पी.सी.सी. की चौथी रिपोर्ट में कहा गया है। ऐन्ड्रयू शेफर्ड अपने शोध-पत्र में लिखते हैं कि ग्रीनलैंड की बर्फ अपेक्षाकृत सुरक्षित है, उसे पिघलने में काफी वक्त लगेगा। सन 1999 में डाॅ. वी.के. रैना ने अपने शोध के दौरान पाया था कि हिमालय ग्लेशियर भी अपेक्षाकृत सुरक्षित हैं। हालाँकि, प्रो. राव के इस शोध के प्रमुख आधार काॅस्मिक विकिरण और निचले स्तर के बादलों की निर्माण प्रक्रिया के बीच के अन्तःसम्बन्धों पर कुछ वैज्ञानिकों ने इस दिशा में शोध भी किए, मगर अब तक अंतरिक्ष से पृथ्वी पर आपतित हो रहे काॅस्मिक विकिरण और पृथ्वी पर निचले स्तर के बादलों के निर्माण के अन्तःसम्बन्धों पर विश्व के सभी वैज्ञानिकों में आम सहमति नहीं बन पाई है। यहाँ यह बताना भी जरूरी है कि इस पूरे मुद्दे पर सही निष्कर्ष पर पहुँचने के लिये ‘यूरोपीय नाभिकीय अनुसंधान संगठन’ (CERN) के ‘लार्ज हैड्रोन कोलाइडर’ की सहयता से वैज्ञानिकों ने प्रयोगों की एक श्रृंखला संपन्न करने का निर्णय लिया है। यह प्रयोग अभी हाल ही में प्रारम्भ हुआ है और ऐसी आशा है कि परिणाम आने जल्द शुरू हो जाएँगे। इस प्रोजेक्ट को ‘क्लाउड’, (Cosmic Leaving Outdoor)’ का नाम दिया गया है। इस प्रोजेक्ट में काॅस्मिक विकिरण का पृथ्वी पर बादलों के बनने की प्रक्रिया पर प्रभाव, जलवायु परिवर्तन पर प्रभाव आदि सम्बन्धित विषयों पर अध्ययन और शोध किया जा रहा है। जलवायु विज्ञान के इतिहास में यह पहली बार होने जा रहा है कि जलवायु से जुड़े मुद्दों पर ‘उच्च-ऊर्जा कण त्वरक’ (High Energy Particle Accelerator) का इस्तेमाल किया जाएगा। उम्मीद है कि इस प्रयोग के संपन्न होने के बाद इस पूरे विषय पर हमारी समझ और विकसित हो सकेगी।

घातक परिणाम

ग्रीन हाउस गैस वो गैस होती है जो पृथ्वी के वातावरण में प्रवेश कर यहाँ का तापमान बढ़ाने में कारक बनती हैं। वैज्ञानिकों के अनुसार इन गैसों का उत्सर्जन अगर इसी प्रकार चलता रहा तो 21वीं शताब्दी में पृथ्वी का तापमान 3 डिग्री से 8 डिग्री सेल्सियस तक बढ़ सकता है। अगर ऐसा हुआ तो इसके परिणाम बहुत घातक होंगे। दुनिया के कई हिस्सों में बिछी बर्फ की चादरें पिघल जाएँगी, समुद्र का जल स्तर कई फीट ऊपर तक बढ़ जाएगा। समुद्र के इस बर्ताव से दुनिया के कई हिस्से जलमग्न हो जाएँगे, भारी तबाही मचेगी। यह तबाही किसी विश्वयुद्ध या किसी ‘ऐस्टेराॅइड’ के पृथ्वी से टकराने के बाद होने वाली तबाही से भी बढ़कर होगी। हमारे ग्रह पृथ्वी के लिये भी यह स्थिति बहुत हानिकारक होगी।

ग्लोबल वार्मिंग को रोकने का कोई इलाज नहीं है। इसके बारे में सिर्फ जागरूकता फैलाकर ही इससे लड़ा जा सकता है। हमें अपनी पृथ्वी को सही मायनों में ‘ग्रीन’ बनाना होगा। अपने ‘कार्बन फुटप्रिंट्स’ (प्रति व्यक्ति कार्बन उत्सर्जन को मापने का पैमाना) को कम करना होगा।हम अपने आस-पास के वातावरण को प्रदूषण से जितना मुक्त रखेंगे, इस पृथ्वी को बचाने में उतनी ही बड़ी भूमिका निभाएंगे।

ग्रीन हाउस गैसों का उत्सर्जन

इस पारिस्थितिक संकट से निपटने के लिये मानव को सचेत रहने की जरूरत है। दुनिया भर की राजनीतिक शक्तियाँ इस बहस में उलझी हैं कि गर्माती धरती के लिये किसे जिम्मेदार ठहराया जाए। अधिकतर राष्ट्र यह मानते हैं कि उनकी वजह से ग्लोबल वार्मिंग नहीं हो रही है। लेकिन सच यह है कि इसके लिये कोई भी जिम्मेदार हो, भुगतना सबको है। यह बहस जारी रहेगी लेकिन ऐसी कई छोटी पहल है जिनसे अगर हम शुरू करें तो धरती को बचाने में बूँद भर योगदान कर सकते हैं।

ग्लोबल वार्मिंग पर यू.एन. वार्ता

संयुक्त राष्ट्र के सदस्यों ने 2015 तक नई जलवायु संधि कराने के लिये पहला कदम उठाया है और इस पर बातचीत शुरू की है कि वे किस तरह इस लक्ष्य को पूरा करेंगे। यह संधि विकसित और विकासशील देशों पर लागू होगी।संयुक्त राष्ट्र के फ्रेमवर्क कन्वेंशन आॅन क्लाइमेट चेंज (यू.एन.एफ.सी.सी.सी.) पर दस्तखत करने वाले 195 देशों ने बाॅन में इस बात पर बहस शुरू की है कि पिछले साल दिसंबर में डरबन सम्मेलन में तय लक्ष्य पाने के लिये वह किस तरह काम करेंगे। उद्घाटन समारोह की अध्यक्षता करने वाली दक्षिण अफ्रीका की माइते एनकोआना मशाबाने ने सदस्य देशों से वार्ता के पुराने और नकारा तरीकों को छोड़ने की अपील की। उन्होंने समुद्र के बढ़ते जल स्तर की वजह से डूबने का संकट झेल रहे छोटे देशों का जिक्र करते हुए कहा, ‘‘समय कम है और हमें अपने कुछ भाइयों, खासकर छोटे द्वीपों वाले देशों की अपील को गम्भीरता से लेना है।’’

जर्मनी की पुरानी राजधानी बाॅन में आयोजित सम्मेलन के अनुसार 2015 तक नई संधि पूरी हो जाएगी और उसे 2020 से लागू कर दिया जाएगा। इसमें गरीब और अमीर देशों को ग्लोबल वार्मिंग रोकने के लिये और जहरीली गैसों के उत्सर्जन को कम करने के लिये एक ही कानूनी ढाँचे में रखा जाएगा। इस समय संयुक्त राष्ट्र के तहत विकसित और विकासशील देशों के लिये पर्यावरण सुरक्षा सम्बन्धी अलग-अलग कानूनी नियम हैं।आलोचकों का कहना है कि ये नियम अब समय के अनुसार नहीं हैं। ग्लोबल वार्मिंग के लिये ज्यादातर ऐतिहासिक जिम्मेदारी अमीर देशों की है, लेकिन उनका कहना है कि भविष्य में समस्या को सुलझाने का बोझ उन पर डालना अनुचित होगा। इस बीच सबसे ज्यादा जहरीली गैसों का उत्सर्जन करने वालों की सूची में चीन, भारत और ब्राजील जैसे देश शामिल होते जा रहे हैं जो अपनी आबादी को गरीबी से बाहर निकालने के लिये कोयला, तेल और गैस का व्यापक इस्तेमाल कर रहे हैं। हालाँकि, अभी भी प्रति व्यक्ति औसत खपत पश्चिमी देशों से कम है। समुद्र में बसे छोटे देशों और अफ्रीकी देशों ने चेतावनी देते हुए कहा है कि गैसों के उत्सर्जन में कटौती के वायदों और ग्लोबल वार्मिंग रोकने के लिये उसकी जरूरत के बीच बड़ी खाई है। वैज्ञानिकों का कहना है कि यदि वर्तमान उत्सर्जन जारी रहता है तो दुनिया का तापमान 4 डिग्री सेल्सियस बढ़ जाएगा, जबकि यू.एन.एफ.सी.सी.सी. ने 2011 में 2 डिग्री सेल्सियस को सुरक्षित अधिकतम वृद्धि बताया है। यू.एन.एफ.सी.सी.सी. ने सिर्फ इतना तय किया है कि उसे साझा, लेकिन अलग-अलग, जिम्मेदारी तय करनी है। इसका मतलब है कि गरीब और अमीर अर्थव्यवस्थाओं पर अलग-अलग बोझ डाला जाएगा। 2015 तक जिन मुद्दों पर फैसला लिया जाना है, वह यह है कि कौन देश कितनी कटौती करेगा, संधि को लागू करने की संरचना क्या होगी, उसका कानूनी दर्जा क्या होगा। विकासशील देश विकसित औद्योगिक देशों से सद्भावना दिखाने की मांग कर रहे हैं। वे यूरोपीय संघ से क्योटो संधि के वायदों को फिर से दोहराने की अपील कर रहे हैं। वह अकेली संधि है जिसमें ग्रीन हाउस गैसों में कटौती तय की गई थी। इसके विपरीत क्योटो को पास करने वाला अमेरिका उभरते देशों से कटौती के अपने वायदों को बढ़ाने की मांग कर रहा है। आने वाले विवादों को संकेत देते हुए ग्रीन क्लाइमेट फंड की पहली बैठक स्थगित कर दी गई है। इसका गठन गरीब देशों की मदद के लिये 10 अरब डाॅलर जमा करना है।

ग्लोबल वार्मिंग रोकने के उपाय

जैसा कि हम जानते हैं प्राणियों के लिए इस पृथ्वी में जीवन जीने के लिए वातावरण का संतुलित होना बेहद आवश्यक है। लेकिन जब वातावरण के औसत तापमान में लगातार वृद्धि होती है, तो इससे होने वाले मौसम परिवर्तन की समस्या को ग्लोबल वार्मिंग कहा जाता है। जो कि इस पृथ्वी पर रहने वाले सभी प्राणियों के लिए कष्टदाई  है।

अकस्मात बारिश होना, सूखा पड़ जाना, गलेशियरों के पिघलने की खबरें आना तथा समुद्र के जलस्तर में लगातार वृद्धि होना यह सभी ग्लोबल वार्मिंग के ही संकेत हैं।

खतरे के संकेत

पिछले कुछ दशकों से ग्लोबल वार्मिंग की समस्या बढ़ने की वजह से इसने न सिर्फ हमारे वातावरण में जलवायु को प्रभावित किया है। बल्कि ग्लोबल वार्मिग से प्रकृति का संतुलन भी बिगड़ा है, साथ ही इसने जैव विविधता को भी प्रभावित किया है।

हालांकि भागदौड़ भरी जिंदगी में आज भी कई लोग ग्लोबल वार्मिंग की समस्या से बेफिक्र हैं। वे नहीं जानते कि भविष्य में यह समस्या मानव समेत अन्य प्राणियों के लिए कितनी कष्ट दाई हो सकती है।

वैज्ञानिकों की एक रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक वर्ष 2021 में ग्लोबल वार्मिंग का खतरा पृथ्वी में रहने वाले प्राणियों के लिए किसी विश्वयुद्ध या फिर छुद्र ग्रह के पृथ्वी से टकराने से भी बड़ा होगा।

ग्लोबल वार्मिंग के कारण

जलवायु में परिवर्तन ग्लोबल वार्मिंग का प्रमुख कारण है ग्लोबल वार्मिंग को बढ़ाने में मुख्य जिम्मेदार ग्रीन हाउस गैस हैं। कार्बन डाइऑक्साइड, ओजोन, मीथेन इत्यादि खतरनाक गैसें ग्रीन हाउस का ही एक प्रकार हैं।

और अपने हितों के लिए की गई मानवीय गतिविधियों से लगातार इस पृथ्वी पर बढ़ती ग्रीन हाउस गैसों की मात्रा से ग्लोबल वार्मिंग की समस्या उत्पन्न हुई है। हालांकि पृथ्वी पर ऑक्सीजन, नाइट्रोजन गैसों की मात्रा भी पृथ्वी पर काफी अधिक है लेकिन चूंकि यह ग्रीन हाउस गैसें नहीं है इसलिए हानिकारक गैसों में इनका नाम शामिल नहीं होता।

ग्रीन हाउस गैसों के उत्सर्जन के कई सारे कारण हैं जिनमें से कुछ प्रमुख कारण उद्योगों, वाहनों से निकलने वाला धुंआ, जीवाश्म ईंधन का दहन, घरों में उपयोग होने वाले विद्युत विवरण जैसे फ्रीज, एसी तथा अन्य मशीनों का इस्तेमाल करने से वातावरण में ग्रीनहाउस गैसों की मात्रा में वृद्धि होती हैं।

ग्लोबल वार्मिंग के परिणाम

यह समस्या अत्यंत कष्टकारी है जिससे अनेक भयंकर परिणाम निकल कर आते हैं जिनमें से कुछ प्रमुख निम्नलिखित है।

ग्लेशियरों का पिघलना:- प्रथ्वी के बढ़ते तापमान के कारण ग्लेशियर पिघलने लगते हैं ग्लेशियरों के पिघलने से हिमखंड सागर में मिलते हैं। जिससे समुद्रों के जलस्तर में वृद्धि होती है इस तरह गलेशियरों के पिघलने से गलेशियरों की संख्या में लगातार कमी आ रही है।

ग्लेशियर कई सारी नदियों के केंद्र भी होते हैं जिनसे कई सारी नदियां निकलती हैं। लेकिन जब ग्लेशियर पिघलते हैं तो उनसे प्राप्त हुए जल से नदियों में जलस्तर की वृद्धि होती है और परिणाम स्वरूप बाढ़ आती है।

वर्षा-समय में परिवर्तन

वर्तमान में किसानों के लिए यह सबसे बड़ी समस्या बनकर उभरी है वर्षा होने या फिर बादल बनने का सीधा संबंध तापमान से होता है। लेकिन जब तापमान में निरन्तर अचानक वृद्धि होती है तो वर्षा का समय पैटर्न बदल जाता है। यही कारण है कि वर्तमान में हमें बिना मौसम बारिश या फिर किसी मौसम बहुत ज्यादा बारिश या बहुत कम देखने को मिलती है।

प्रवास:- चूंकि तापमान में वृद्धि के कारण गलेशियर पिघलते हैं, जिससे सागर का जलस्तर हमेशा उच्च रहता है  ऐसे में जो लोग तटीय क्षेत्रों में निवास करते हैं वे मैदानी भागों की तरफ रुख करेंगे और इससे प्रवसन बढ़ता है।

तो यह कुछ मुख्य परिणाम वैश्विक तापमान के सामने निकल कर आते हैं। अगर समय रहते ग्लोबल वार्मिंग को कम करने के लिए कोई कार्य न किया जाए तो इसके और भी भयंकर परिणाम सामने दिखाई दे सकते हैं आइए जानते हैं

ग्लोबल वार्मिंग रोकने के उपाय

क्योंकि यह समस्या आज किसी विशेष देश की नहीं बल्कि पूरी पृथ्वी के सामने खड़ी हो चुकी है ऐसे में सिर्फ सरकार को या किसी एनजीओ को ग्लोबल वार्मिंग रोकने का ठेका नहीं दिया जा सकता।

बल्कि अगर पृथ्वी के सभी नागरिक ग्लोबल वार्मिंग को रोकने में अपना योगदान दें तो इस समस्य की पूरी तरह खत्म तो नहीं पर इस खतरे की घंटी को जरूर टाला जा सकता है। बतौर नागरिक आप इन छोटे-छोटे लेकिन महत्वपूर्ण कार्यों को करके ग्लोबल वार्मिंग में कमी लाने में अपना योगदान दे सकते हैं

वैज्ञानिकों के अनुसार ग्लोबल वार्मिंग में कमी लाने के लिए हमें CFC गैसों के उत्सर्जन में कमी करनी होगी। घर में उपयोग होने वाले कई आइटम्स जैसे रेफ्रिजरेटर, AC तथा बिजली से चलने वाले अन्य कूलिंग मशीनों का कम से कम इस्तेमाल करके सीएफसी गैस के उत्सर्जन में कमी लाई जा सकती है।।

इसके अलावा उद्योगों से निकलने वाला धुआं वातावरण में कार्बन डाइऑक्साइड में वृद्धि करता है जो कि ग्लोबल वॉर्मिंग के उत्सर्जन का एक बड़ा कारण बनता है। तो सरकार को तथा व्यापारियों को औद्योगिक इकाइयों में बढ़ते प्रदूषण को कम करने के उपाय ढूंढने होंगे।

वनों के संरक्षण पर बल देकर अधिक से अधिक वृक्षारोपण करना होगा ताकि वातावरण में बढ़ते वायु प्रदूषण के स्तर में कमी लाई जाए। जिसमें वाहनों के धुएं में कमी लाने पर सरकार द्वारा बनाए गए वातावरण मानकों का पालन करना होगा।

इसके साथ ही कोयले से बनाई जाने वाली बिजली के स्थान पर सौर ऊर्जा, पनबिजली जैसी वातावरण हितैषी तरीकों से बिजली बनाकर वातावरण में गर्मी पैदा करने वाली गैस में कमी लाई जा सकती है। तो इन उपायों को करके ग्लोबल वार्मिंग की समस्या को काफी हद तक नियंत्रित किया जा सकता है।

यह आकाश में एक तरह का प्राकृतिक कंबल बनाता है, जो सूर्य की किरणों को सोखता है, और सोखे गए इस भाग को ग्रीन हाउस अंतरिक्ष में भेज देता है। जिस वजह से गर्मी सीधे वातावरण तक नहीं पहुंच पाती है इस प्रक्रिया को ही ग्रीन हाउस प्रभाव कहा जाता है।

अतः संक्षेप में कहा जाए तो ग्रीन हाउस इफेक्ट पूरी तरह नुकसान दाई नहीं होती, क्योंकि अगर ग्रीन हाउस गैसें नहीं होती तो सीधे सूर्य का ताप पृथ्वी पर पहुंचता और मनुष्य के लिए जीवन जीना पृथ्वी पर बेहद मुश्किल हो जाता।

लेकिन ग्रीन हाउस प्रभाव की संरचना में परिवर्तन आने के कारण इसकी प्रक्रिया में भी अंतर दिखाई देता है। इससे पृथ्वी का तापमान बढ़ता है। परिणाम स्वरूप बड़े-बड़े गलेशियर पिघलने लगते हैं और नदियों के जलस्तर में अचानक वृद्धि होती है और बाढ़ जैसी समस्याएं उत्पन्न होती है।

एसी, फ्रिज जैसे उपकरणों का प्रयोग आज घर-घर में होने लगा है लेकिन यह उपकरण वातावरण में ग्रीन हाउस गैसों की मात्रा में वृद्धि करते हैं। इन उपकरणों से निकलने वाले ईंधन का धुंआ वातावरण को प्रदूषित करता है अतः ऐसे उपकरणों का कम से कम उपयोग करके ग्लोबल वार्मिंग में कमी लाई जा सकती है।

Essay On Global Warming in 300 Words

Global warming is a phenomenon where the earth’s average temperature rises due to increased amounts of greenhouse gases. Greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, methane and ozone trap the incoming radiation from the sun. This effect creates a natural “blanket”, which prevents the heat from escaping back into the atmosphere. This effect is called the greenhouse effect.

Contrary to popular belief, greenhouse gases are not inherently bad. In fact, the greenhouse effect is quite important for life on earth. Without this effect, the sun’s radiation would be reflected back into the atmosphere, freezing the surface and making life impossible. However, when greenhouse gases in excess amounts get trapped, serious repercussions begin to appear. The polar ice caps begin to melt, leading to a rise in sea levels. Furthermore, the greenhouse effect is accelerated when polar ice caps and sea ice melts. This is due to the fact the ice reflects 50% to 70% of the sun’s rays back into space, but without ice, the solar radiation gets absorbed. Seawater reflects only 6% of the sun’s radiation back into space. What’s more frightening is the fact that the poles contain large amounts of carbon dioxide trapped within the ice. If this ice melts, it will significantly contribute to global warming. 

A related scenario when this phenomenon goes out of control is the runaway-greenhouse effect. This scenario is essentially similar to an apocalypse, but it is all too real. Though this has never happened in the earth’s entire history, it is speculated to have occurred on Venus. Millions of years ago, Venus was thought to have an atmosphere similar to that of the earth. But due to the runaway greenhouse effect, surface temperatures around the planet began rising. 

If this occurs on the earth, the runaway greenhouse effect will lead to many unpleasant scenarios – temperatures will rise hot enough for oceans to evaporate. Once the oceans evaporate, the rocks will start to sublimate under heat. In order to prevent such a scenario, proper measures have to be taken to stop climate change.
