Sample FIR – In case if you lost voter Id card. FIR is not mandatory in case if you lost voter id card, you can just download duplicate from official website. You can search your name in Voter list either through name or Epic Number.

Voter ID Card is a Document which can permit the candidate to cast their vote during the Elections in India. And this Voter ID card is provided to all the citizens in India who are eligible to vote. This Voter ID card will reduce the fake voters during the elections and help the elections to run smoothly without any complications.

Once your voter ID card has been issued, you can use the same card throughout your lifetime to participate in elections. In the event the card is lost, misplaced or is unusable due to being torn or mutilated, you can apply for a duplicate card.

But before applying for a Duplicate Ration card the candidates have required to file an FIR in the nearest local police station. It will be an extremely dreadful situation for any candidate to lose his/her Voter ID card or any Government issued document.
