گورنمنٹ کالج لاہور میں آپ کو بہترین اساتذہ سے مستفید ہونے کاموقع ملا جن میں سر فہرست پروفیسر آرنلڈ  کا نام آتا ہے۔ایم۔اے کرنے کے بعد آپ نے تدریس کے شعبے میں اپنی خدمات انجام دیں۔ آپ پہلے اورینٹل کالج اور بھر گورنمنٹ کالج لاہور میں پروفیسر رہے۔اس کے بعد اعلیٰ تعلیم حاصل کرنےکے لیے1905ء میں آپ انگلستان روانہ ہو گئے۔

انگلستان میں اقبال نےکیمبرج یونیورسٹی سے بارایٹ لا کی ڈگری حاصل کی۔ اس کے بعد جرمنی کی میونح یونیورسٹی سے پی۔ایچ۔ڈی کی ڈگری حاصل کی۔ بالآخر آپ 1908ء میں وطن واپس آگئے۔علامہ اقبالؒ کو اپنے استاد پروفیسر آرنلڈ سے بہت عقیدت تھی۔قیام انگلستان  کے دوران  اقبال نےپروفیسر آرنلڈ کے کہنے پر اپنی شاعری کے فن کو بھی جاری رکھا

اقبال کو شعر و شاعری سے بہت لگاو تھا۔آپ کی لکھی گئ نظمیں سیاسی جلسوں اور ادبی حلقوں میں بڑے شوق اور جذبے سے پڑھی جاتی تھیں۔

اقبال نے ایک شاعر کی حیثیت سے بے پناہ شہرت حاصل کی۔ خصوصا ان کا مکالمہ مابین خدا اور انسان”شکوہ“ اور ”جوابِ شکوہ“ بہت مشہور ہے۔ ان کی بہترین  کتابیں بانگ درا ، بال جبریل اور ضربِ کلیم ہیں۔ اقبال گہری مذہبی سوچ کے حامل اور بہترین مفکر تھے۔

انہوں نے بچوں کے لئے بھی کئ نظمیں لکھیں۔ان میں بچّےکی دُعا ،ایک پہاڑ اور گلہری اور پرندے کی فریاد شامل ہیں۔آپ نے 21 اپریل 1938ء کو وفات پائی۔اقبال کا مزار  لاہور میں واقع ہے۔

حتمی طور پر خواتین کی تعلیم کو گھریلو، سماجی اور قومی سطح پر ترجیح دی جانی چاہیے کیونکہ یہ ہماری پسماندگی کا علاج ہے۔

معاشرے کو اس حقیقت کو سمجھنے کی ضرورت ہے کہ گھریلو، سماجی اور قومی مفادات کے لئے خواتین کی تعلیم ضروری ہے۔ لوگوں کو خواتین کو سیکھنے کے معاملے میں کمتر نہیں سمجھنا چاہئے۔ انہیں بوجھ نہیں بلکہ ایک ایسی افرادی قوت سمجھا جانا چاہئے جسے انہیں تعلیم دے کر استعمال کیا جاسکتا ہے۔ 

خواتین کی تعلیم نہ صرف انہیں مالی طور پر بااختیار بنائے گی بلکہ انہیں گھروں کی اچھی دیکھ بھال کرنے کے قابل بھی بنائے گی۔ ایک تعلیم یافتہ عورت اپنی ذمہ داریوں کو اچھی طرح جانتی ہے اور اپنے بچوں کی پرورش مہذب ماحول میں کر سکتی ہے۔ اس طرح ایک تعلیم یافتہ عورت معاشرے کی ترقی میں اپنا حصہ ڈال سکتی ہے۔ وہ ایک حوصلہ افزائی اور ہدایت شدہ نسل پیدا کرتی ہے۔

پاکستان میں خاص طور پر دیہی علاقوں میں معاشرے میں خواتین کی حیثیت بہت خراب ہے۔ خواتین کو کوئی عزت نہیں دی جاتی اور ان کے ساتھ برا سلوک کیا جاتا ہے۔ پاکستان کی خواتین کے معاملے میں تعلیم حاصل کرنے کی اجازت نہ دینے، کم عمری اور جبری شادیوں، تیزاب گردی، گھریلو تشدد اور غیرت کے نام پر قتل کا مسئلہ بہت سنگین ہے۔

 اسلام میں مردوں اور عورتوں کے ساتھ یکساں سلوک اور مساوی حیثیت کا تقاضا کیا گیا ہے پھر بھی جب پاکستان ایک اسلامی ملک ہے تو خواتین کو نہ تو مساوی حقوق دیے جاتے ہیں اور نہ ہی ان کے ساتھ یکساں سلوک کیا جاتا ہے بلکہ ان کے ساتھ غلاموں جیسا سلوک کیا جاتا ہے۔  پاکستان کو مختلف صوبوں میں تقسیم کیا گیا ہے جنہیں مزید شہری اور دیہی علاقوں میں تقسیم کیا گیا ہے۔

دیہی علاقوں میں خواتین کی حیثیت خاص طور پر بہت قابل رحم ہے اور پاکستان کے شہری علاقوں میں قدرے بہتر ہے۔ شہری علاقوں کی خواتین کسی نہ کسی طرح تعلیم حاصل کر رہی ہیں اور اچھے عہدوں پر کام کر رہی ہیں لیکن دیہی علاقوں اور دیہاتیوں کی خواتین انتہائی خراب حالت میں زندگی گزار رہی ہیں۔ پاکستان میں خواتین کی شرح خواندگی بھی بہت کم ہے کیونکہ خواتین کو تعلیم حاصل کرنے کی اجازت نہیں ہے اور انہیں صرف گھر پر ہی رہنا پڑتا ہے۔

پاکستان ایک ایسا ملک ہے جو مذہب یعنی اسلام کی بنیاد پر وجود میں آیا ہے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ نے اپنے مسلمانوں کو دین کی پیروی کرنے اور زندگی گزارنے کے بارے میں ایک مکمل ہدایت فراہم کی ہے۔ قرآن مجید اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ و آلہ وسلم کے اقوال دین کی پیروی کرنے اور زندگی بسر کرنے کا مکمل مشورہ اور قاعدہ ہیں تاکہ مسلمان یہاں اور آخرت دونوں جگہ کامیاب ہو سکیں۔

 اللہ تعالیٰ نے اپنے پیارے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو وحی عطا فرمائی ہے اور پہلی وحی علم کے بارے میں تھی۔ علم حاصل کرنے کی ضرورت کو اس طرح واضح طور پر بیان نہیں کیا جاسکتا ہے۔  اللہ تبارک وتعالیٰ نے قرآن مجید میں ارشاد فرمایا: (اے محبوب! اللہ کے نام کے ساتھ پڑھو جس نے (ہر چیز) کو پیدا کیا ہے۔ اس نے انسان کو جونک (ماں کے پیٹ میں) کی طرح لٹکے ہوئے بڑے پیمانے پر (چپکے ہوئے) سے پیدا کیا ۔ 

پڑھو اور تمہارا رب بڑا مہربان ہے جس نے انسان کو قلم سے پڑھنا سکھایا اور اس کے علاوہ انسان کو وہ سب کچھ سکھایا جو وہ نہیں جانتا تھا ” (العلق 96:1-5)۔ اس آیت سے معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ چاہتا ہے کہ اس کے ماننے والے مطالعہ کریں اور علم حاصل کریں۔ اللہ تعالیٰ نے یہ بھی فرمایا کہ اس نے اپنے آدمی کو پڑھنا لکھنا سکھایا ہے اور اسے تعلیم حاصل کرنے کی ہدایت کی ہے۔

کیا آپ نے کبھی سوچا ہے کہ ٹیکنالوجی کے بغیر آپ کی زندگی کیسی ہوگی؟ نہیں، پھر آپ کو اس کے بارے میں سوچنا ہوگا۔ موبائل فون سے سیٹلائٹ تک، پرسنل کمپیوٹر سے لے کر سپر کمپیوٹر تک، دوستوں سے لے کر باس تک، اور پیدائش سے موت تک، ٹیکنالوجی ہماری زندگی کے ایک ایک ذرے کو جوڑنے اور اسے آسان بنانے میں اہم کردار ادا کرتی ہے۔ تو آئیے دیکھتے ہیں کہ ٹیکنالوجی ایک عالمی طاقت کے طور پر کیسے بنی نوع انسان کی ترقی کو کم کرتی ہے۔

"ٹیکنالوجی" - مواد، سائنس، فطرت کے ڈیزائن کے تکنیکی پہلوؤں کا مطالعہ تاکہ ہماری زندگیوں کو آسان بنایا جا سکے اور ساتھ ہی ہماری کارکردگی کو بڑھانے کے لیے مکینیکل، برقی، حیاتیاتی اور معلوماتی نظام کا اطلاق۔ ٹکنالوجی کی ایک تاریخ ہے جو کہ نوولتھک دور سے پہلے کی ہے۔ نئے پادری دور یا اس سے پہلے کے لوگ اپنی صلاحیتوں، وسائل اور ترقی یافتہ تکنیکوں کو اپنے بہترین استعمال کے لیے استعمال کرتے ہیں۔ تب سے، ٹیکنالوجی نے انسانوں کی زندگی میں بہت ترقی کی ہے۔

ٹیکنالوجی کا کردار

یہ ٹیکنالوجی پہلی بار بڑے پیمانے پر 18ویں صدی میں صنعتی انقلاب کے آغاز میں استعمال کی گئی تھی، جہاں انسانی ہاتھوں کی جگہ مشینی اوزاروں نے لے لی تھی۔ اس کے بعد بہت سے محققین، سائنسدانوں اور انجینئروں نے ٹیکنالوجی کو انسانوں کے قریب لانے کی کوشش کی ہے۔ انسان اور ٹیکنالوجی کے اس رشتے نے ہماری زندگیوں کو ٹیکنالوجی پر زیادہ انحصار اور کیک کی طرح آسان بنا دیا ہے۔

ٹیکنالوجی چھوٹے سے بڑے پیمانے پر ہماری روزمرہ کی زندگی میں داخل ہو چکی ہے۔ ہم ٹیکنالوجی کے بغیر اپنی زندگی کا تصور نہیں کر سکتے۔ ٹیکنالوجی کے نفاذ نے ہمارے لیے کئی نوری سالوں کے فاصلے پر واقع دوسرے سیاروں کو بھی دیکھنا ممکن بنا دیا ہے۔

ٹیکنالوجی نے ہماری معیشت کو بھی آگے بڑھایا ہے۔ لوگ اپنی خواہش کے مطابق اپنے دوستوں، رشتہ داروں، قریبی اور دور کے لوگوں سے آسانی سے رابطہ کر سکتے ہیں۔ ٹیکنالوجی اس سیارے کا 360 ڈگری سسٹم بن چکی ہے۔ خواہ وہ خریداری ہو، آٹومیشن، آئی ٹی، میڈیکل، اسپیس، تعلیم، کمیونیکیشن وغیرہ۔ کسی کے لیے بھی، آپ آسانی سے ان سب میں ٹیکنالوجی کی موجودگی کا پتہ لگا سکتے ہیں۔
