ప్రస్తుతం మంచి కంటెంట్ ఉంటె చాలు ఆడియన్స్ చిన్న సినిమాలను సైతం ఆదరిస్తున్నారు. ఆ విధంగా పలు చిన్న సినిమాలు మంచి కాన్సెప్ట్స్ తో రిలీజ్ అయి ఆడియన్స్ ని ఆకట్టుకుంటున్నాయి. ఆ విధంగానే మొదటి నుండి అందరిలో మంచి అంచనాలు ఏర్పరిచిన మూవీ ఓ కల ప్రస్తుతం ప్రముఖ ఓటిటి మాధ్యమం డిస్నీ హాట్ స్టార్ లో స్ట్రీమ్ అవుతోంది. గౌరీష్ యేలేటి, రోష్ని సహోటా హీరో హీరోయిన్స్ గా తెరకెక్కిన ఈ సినిమా యొక్క ఓటిటి సమీక్ష ఇప్పుడు చూద్దాం.

హారిక (రోషిని సహూటా) ఒక ఎంబీఏ మార్కెటింగ్ గ్రాడ్యుయేట్. పలువురు యువతకు ఉద్యోగ అవకాశాలు కల్పించేందుకు ఆమె ఒక సరికొత్త స్టార్టప్ కంపెనీ ని ప్రారంభిస్తుంది. అయితే కొన్ని కారణాల వలన తన కంపెనీ దివాళా తీయడంతో ఆమె ఆత్మహత్య చేసుకోవాలని భావిస్తుంది. అయితే ఆమె ఆత్మహత్యకు ప్రయత్నించే సమయంలో హర్ష (గౌరీష్ యేలేటి) అనే ఒక యువకుడు ఆమె జీవితంలోకి ప్రవేశించి ఆమె మనసుని ఆ ఆలోచన నుండి తప్పిస్తాడు. మరి అంత సడన్ గా హారిక జీవితంలోకి వచ్చిన హర్ష ఎవరు, ఆమెను ఏ విధంగా అతడు ఆత్మహత్య నుండి తప్పిస్తాడు, తరువాత వారిద్దరి మధ్య ఏమి జరిగింది అనేది మిగతా కథ.

ప్లస్ పాయింట్స్ :

ఓ కల సినిమా ప్రధానంలో సంభాషణల నేపథ్యంలో సాగుతుంది. ఇక కొత్త నటీనటులు అయినప్పటికీ కూడా ఎక్కువగా ఉన్న స్క్రీన్ స్పేస్ ని బాగా వాడుకుని హీరో హీరోయిన్స్ ఇద్దరూ కూడా ఎంతో చక్కగా తమ తమ పాత్రల్లో ఒదిగిపోయి పెర్ఫార్మ్ చేసారు. బాలీవుడ్ టివి నటి అయిన రోషిని సహూటా ఈ మూవీ ద్వారా టాలీవుడ్ కి సూపర్ ఎంట్రీ ని ఇచ్చారు అనే చెప్పాలి. ఆమె అందం, అభినయంతో పాటు ప్రత్యేకంగా సీన్ కి తగిన విధంగా ఆమె పెర్ఫార్మన్స్, డైలాగ్ డెలివరీ వంటివి ఎంతో బాగున్నాయి. దీని అనంతరం నటిగా ఆమెకు తెలుగులో మంచి అవకాశాలు వచ్చే ఛాన్స్ ఉంది. ఇక హీరోగా నటించిన గౌరీష్ యేలేటి కూడా తన పాత్రకు పూర్తి న్యాయం చేసారు. ఎక్కడా కూడా ఓవర్ బోర్డు కాకుండా తన పాత్ర యొక్క పరిధి మేరకు అలరించారు. నేటి యువతకు ఉపయోగపడే మంచి సోషల్ మెసేజ్ ని దర్శకుడు దీపక్ కొలిపాక ఇందులో అందించారు. ఇక సెకండ్ హాఫ్ లో ఆ మెసేజ్ తాలూకు సెన్సిటివ్ సీన్స్ ని ఎంతో చక్కగా దర్శకుడు హ్యాండిల్ చేసారు. ప్రాచీ థాకర్, దేవి ప్రసాద్ కూడా తమ తమ పాత్రల్లో చక్కగా నటించారు.

మైనస్ పాయింట్స్ :

అయితే ప్రధాన పాత్రల మధ్య సాగే సంభాషణల నేపథ్యంలో ఈ సినిమా నడవడంతో అందరు ఆడియన్స్ కి ఇది రుచించకపోవచ్చు. కేవలం కొన్ని సెక్షన్స్ ఆఫ్ ఆడియన్స్ కి మాత్రమే ఈ విధంగా సాగే కథనం నచ్చుతుంది, అలానే ఇతరులకు అది చాలా వరకు బోరింగ్ గా కూడా అనిపిస్తుంది. ఫ్లాష్ బ్యాక్ సన్నివేశాలు కూడా బోరింగ్ గా మరియు సాగతీతగా అనిపిస్తాయి. అలానే కొన్ని అనవసరమైన కామెడీ సీన్స్ కూడా సినిమాకి ఇబ్బంది కలిగిస్తాయి. మొదటి గంట మరింత ఇంట్రెస్టింగ్ గా ఉండేలా స్క్రిప్ట్ రాసుకుని ఉంటె బాగుండేది. అయితే దర్శకుడు ఆడియన్స్ కి ఏమి చెప్పాలి అనుకున్నది బాగున్నప్పటికీ ప్రధాన పాత్రల మధ్య మరింత ఆకట్టుకునే సన్నివేశాలు రాసుకుని ఉంటె తప్పకుండా సినిమా మరింత అద్భుతంగా ఉండేది. సినిమా రన్ టైం కూడా కొంత తగ్గించి ఉంటె బాగుండేది.

సాంకేతిక వర్గం :

మ్యూజిక్ డైరెక్టర్ నీలేష్ మండలపు సంగీతం బాగానే ఉంది. అఖిల్ వల్లూరి ఫోటోగ్రఫి బాగుంది, పలు సీన్స్ విజువల్ గా ఎంతో బాగున్నాయి. నిర్మాణ విలువలు బాగున్నాయి కానీ ఎడిటింగ్ విభాగం వారు మాత్రం రన్ టైం విషయంలో కొంత ట్రిమ్ చేసి ఉంటె బాగుండేది. ఇక దర్శకుడు దీపక్ కొలిపాక గురించి చెప్పాలి అంటే, మొత్తంగా ఆయన పర్వాలేదనిపించారు. అయితే నేటి సమాజానికి ఉపయోగపడే మంచి పాయింట్ ని ఎంచుకున్న ఆయనకు ముందుగా ప్రత్యేక అభినందనలు అందించాలి. సెకండ్ హాఫ్ లో మంచి ట్విస్ట్ లు ఉన్నప్పటికీ కూడా ఫస్ట్ హాఫ్ ని మరింత ఆసక్తికరంగా తెరకెక్కించి ఉంటె బాగుండేదనిపిస్తుంది. అయినప్పటికీ మంచి మెసేజ్ అయితే అందించారు.

మొత్తంగా ఓ కల మూవీ మెల్లగా సాగే సోషల్ మెసేజ్ కలిగిన డ్రామా మూవీ. తొలి సినిమా అయినప్పటికీ కూడా గౌరీష్, రోషిని ఇద్దరూ కూడా తమ పాత్రల్లో బాగా ఒదిగిపోయి నటించారు. అలానే దర్శకుడు కొన్ని కీలక సీన్స్ ని ఎంతో బాగా హ్యాండిల్ చేసారు. అయితే పైన చెప్పిన విధంగా కథనాన్ని ముందుకు నడిపే విధానం మాత్రం మెల్లగా ఉంటుంది.

O Kala Movie Review: కాన్సెప్ట్ ఓరియంటెడ్ మూవీస్ కు ఓటీటీ కరెక్ట్ ప్లాట్ ఫామ్. అలాంటి ఓ చక్కని కాన్సెప్ట్ తో రూపుదిద్దుకున్న చిత్రం ‘ఓ కల’. ఈ మూవీ 13వ తేదీ నుండి డిస్నీ ప్లస్ హాట్ స్టార్ లో స్ట్రీమింగ్ అవుతోంది. గౌరీష్ యేలేటి, రోష్ని సహోట, ప్రాచి టక్కర్ ప్రధాన పాత్రలు పోషించిన ఈ సినిమాను దీపక్ కొలిపాక దర్శకత్వంలో నవ్య మహేశ్, రంజిత్ కుమార్ కొడాలి నిర్మించారు.

ఎం.బి.ఎ. చేసిన హారిక (రోష్ని)కు ఉద్యోగం చేయడం కంటే… తన ప్రతిభను ఉపయోగించి సొంత కంపెనీ పెట్టి ఓ వంద మందికి ఉపాధి కల్పించాలనే కోరిక. అందుకు తండ్రి (దేవి ప్రసాద్) సైతం సహకరిస్తాడు. స్నేహితుడు శరణ్ తో కలిసి బిజినెస్ లోకి దిగిన హారిక… అతన్ని నమ్మి మోసపోతుంది. నష్టాల్లో మునిగిపోయిన కంపెనీని వేరే వాళ్ళకు అమ్మేసి, డిప్రషన్ తో సూసైడ్ చేసుకోవాలని అనుకుంటుంది. ఆ సమయంలో ఆమె జీవితంలోకి హర్ష (గౌరీష్ యేలేటి) అడుగు పెడతాడు. లైఫ్ మీద హోప్ కోల్పోయిన హారికలో హర్ష ఎలా ఆశలు రేకెత్తించాడు? ఆమెను మళ్ళీ ఎలా సక్సెస్ ఫుల్ ఎంటర్ పెన్యూర్ గా మలిచాడు? హర్ష గతం ఏమిటీ? అనేదే ఈ చిత్రం.

ఓ చిన్న పాయింట్ ను తీసుకుని దర్శకుడు దీపక్ కొలిపాక చక్కని దృశ్య కావ్యంగా దీన్ని మలిచాడు. ఇవాళ సమాజంలో పది శాతం మంది డిప్రషన్ కు లోనవుతున్నారు. సూసైడ్  చేసుకుంటున్న వారిలో తొంభై శాతం మంది ఆ డిప్రషన్ కారణంగానే అందుకు పాల్పడుతున్నారు. వాళ్ళలో చిన్న పాటి ఆశను సకాలంలో కల్గిస్తే… వాళ్ళకో కొత్త జీవితాన్ని ప్రసాదించినట్టు అవుతుంది. అలాంటి ప్రయత్నం సమాజంలో కొంత మేర జరుగుతోంది. కానీ అది మరింతగా జరగాలన్నదే ఈ సినిమా ద్వారా దర్శకుడు దీపక్ చెప్పాలనుకున్నాడు. దానికి తగ్గట్టు గా సింపుల్ గా ఓ స్టోరీని రాసుకున్నాడు. అన్ని వర్గాలను ఆకట్టుకోవాలనే అత్యాశకు పోకుండా… తను రాసుకున్న కథకు తగిన న్యాయం చేస్తూ, మంచి నటీనటులను ఎంపిక చేసుకుని, ఈ క్యూట్ మూవీని తెరకెక్కించాడు.

ఇందులో ప్రధానంగా కనిపించేవి రెండే పాత్రలు. గౌరీశ్ యేలేటీ అండ్ రోష్ని. ఇద్దరూ చక్కగా నటించారు. మరీ ముఖ్యంగా… ఇప్పటికే ఉత్తరాదిన నటిగా గుర్తింపు తెచ్చుకున్న రేష్ని చాలా బాగా తన పాత్రను పోట్రేట్ చేసింది. ప్రత్యూష పాత్రకు ప్రాచీ టక్కర్ తగిన న్యాయం చేసింది. అయితే రోష్ని పాత్రను ఎలివేట్ చేసే క్రమంలో ప్రాచీ పాత్ర పట్ల దర్శకుడు కాస్తంత శీతకన్ను వేశాడనిపిస్తుంది. ఇతర ప్రధాన పాత్రలను దేవి ప్రసాద్, వైవా రాఘవ, శక్తి, రవితేజ, కృష్ణకుమారి శ్రీపతి పోషించారు. ఫిల్మ్ డైరెక్టర్ గా అలీ చేసిన పాత్ర పెద్దంత మెప్పించలేదు. ఈ సినిమాకు మెయిన్ ఎస్సెట్ అఖిల్ వల్లూరి సినిమాటోగ్రఫీ, నీలేష్ మండలపు సంగీతం. కశ్మీర్ అందాలను అఖిల్ తన కెమెరాలో చక్కగా బంధించాడు. నేపథ్య గీతాలు వినసొంపుగా ఉన్నాయి. వీటిని కృష్ణ చైతన్య, రాకేందు మౌళి రాశారు. సినిమా అనేది ప్రధానంగా వినోదసాధనమే అయినా దాని ద్వారా సమాజ హితానికి పాటు పడటం ఉత్తమ లక్షణం. అది తమకుందని ‘ఓ కల’ ద్వారా దర్శక నిర్మాతలు చాటి చెప్పారు. ఎటువంటి అంచనాలు పెట్టుకోకుండా… ఓటీటీలోని ఈ సినిమాను చూస్తే… మనసుకు హాయిగా ఉంటుంది. లోపల ఎక్కడైనా డిప్రషన్ ఉంటే… తొలగిపోతుంది!

నూతన తారలు, దర్శక - నిర్మాతలు చేసే సినిమాలకు ఓటీటీ మాధ్యమాలు చక్కని వేదికగా నిలుస్తున్నాయి. కంటెంట్ బావుంటే స్టార్లు లేకపోయినా ప్రేక్షకుల నుంచి చక్కటి ఆదరణ లభిస్తోంది. దాంతో కంటెంట్ బేస్డ్ లో బడ్జెట్ సినిమాలు ఓటీటీ బాట పడుతున్నాయి. 'ఓ కల' (O Kala Movie) కూడా ఆ కోవలో చిత్రమే. డిస్నీ పలు హాట్ స్టార్ (Disney Plus Hotstar) ఓటీటీలో స్ట్రీమింగ్ అవుతోంది. 

కథ (O Kala Movie Story) : ఎంబీఏ చేసిన హారిక వర్మ (రోషిణి)కి మంచి కంపెనీలో ఉద్యోగం వస్తుంది. ఆ ఆఫర్ రిజెక్ట్ చేసి మరీ సొంతంగా బిజినెస్ పెడుతుంది. ఆమె నిర్ణయాన్ని కన్న తల్లితో సహా బంధువులు అందరూ వ్యతిరేకించినా తండ్రి (దేవి ప్రసాద్) మద్దతు ఇస్తాడు. తొలుత లాభాలు వస్తాయి. అయితే, వ్యాపార భాగస్వామి మోసం చేయడంతో కంపెనీ నష్టాల్లో కూరుకుపోతుంది. దాంతో హారిక ఆత్మహత్య చేసుకోవాలనుకుంటుంది. ఆ సమయంలో హర్ష (గౌరీశ్ యేలేటి) పరిచయం అవుతాడు. ఆత్మహత్య నిర్ణయాన్ని వెనక్కి తీసుకోవడమే కాదు, హర్షతో కలిసి కశ్మీర్ వెళుతుంది. 

ఫేమస్ ఫోటోగ్రాఫర్ అయిన హర్ష, తనను సహాయ దర్శకుడిగా హారికకు ఎందుకు పరిచయం చేసుకున్నాడు? హారిక జీవితంలో హర్ష తీసుకొచ్చిన మార్పులు ఏమిటి? హర్ష ప్రేయసి ప్రత్యూష (ప్రాచీ ఠక్కర్), స్నేహితుడు తరుణ్ ('వైవా' రాఘవ్) పాత్రలు ఏమిటి? అనేది సినిమా చూసి తెలుసుకోవాలి.

విశ్లేషణ (O Kala Review Telugu) : 'ఓ కల'లో మెప్పించే అంశం ఏమిటంటే... కొత్త దర్శకుడు దీపక్ కొలిపాక చెప్పాలనుకున్న అంశాన్ని సూటిగా చెప్పాడు. నేరుగా కథలోకి వెళ్ళిపోయాడు. ఆ తర్వాత కూడా కథలో భాగంగా కామెడీ వచ్చింది. అంతే తప్ప సెపరేట్ ట్రాక్స్ ఏమీ రాయలేదు. ప్రేమ సన్నివేశాలను సైతం సెన్సిబిల్ గా డీల్ చేశాడు.

''ఇవాళ రాత్రి మనం కళ్ళు మూసుకొని మళ్ళీ పొద్దున్న కళ్ళు తెరిస్తేనే కదా... మనం బతికి ఉన్నట్టు! లేకపోతే చచ్చి పోయినట్టే కదా! మనం కంట్రోల్ చేయలేని జీవితాన్ని, మన కంట్రోల్ లోకి తీసుకోవద్దు'' - ఇదీ 'ఓ కల'లో దర్శకుడు ఇచ్చిన సందేశం. సినిమా స్టోరీ లైన్ కూడా ఇదే! సినిమాలో బ్యూటీ ఏంటంటే... ఎక్కడా క్లాస్ పీకినట్టు ఉండదు. 

కథలో కొత్తదనం లేదు. అలీ కామెడీ ట్రాక్ బాలేదు. కథా నేపథ్యం, సన్నివేశాలు సైతం ఆహా ఓహో అనేలా లేవు. అమ్మాయి సక్సెస్ సెలబ్రేట్ చేయడానికి పార్టీల కోసం లక్షలు ఖర్చు చేసే తండ్రి దగ్గర కనీసం కోట్లు లేవా? వంటి లాజిక్స్ ఇక్కడ అనవసరం. సినిమాలో కొన్ని లోపాలు ఉన్నాయి. అయితే... డిప్రెషన్ గురించి దర్శకుడు దీపక్ డిస్కస్ చేసిన తీరు బావుంది. హీరోయిన్ రోషిణి క్యారెక్టరైజేషన్ సైతం బావుంది. ఆత్మహత్య ఒక్కటే పరిష్కారం కాదని, అమ్మాయిలు ధైర్యంగా నిలబడాలని చెప్పారు. రొమాన్స్ కంటే డ్రామా మీద ఎక్కువ కాన్సంట్రేట్ చేశారు. సంభాషణలు అర్థవంతంగా ఉన్నాయి. సాంగ్స్ ఓకే. ప్రొడక్షన్ వేల్యూస్ డీసెంట్ గా ఉన్నాయి. కథకు ఎంత అవసరమో... అంతే ఖర్చు చేశారు. సినిమాటోగ్రఫీ బాగుంది. ఇటువంటి సినిమాల్లో రెండు మూడు సూపర్ హిట్ సాంగ్స్ పడితే బావుండేది.

నటీనటులు ఎలా చేశారు? : గౌరీశ్ యేలేటి, రోషిణి... హీరో హీరోయిన్లకు ఇది తొలి సినిమా. అయితే, చూస్తున్నంత సేపు కొత్తవాళ్ళు చేసినట్లు కనిపించలేదు. తమ పాత్రలకు న్యాయం చేశారు. హీరో ప్రేయసిగా, న్యూ ఏజ్ అమ్మాయి పాత్రలో ప్రాచీ ఠక్కర్ పర్వాలేదు. 'వైవా' రాఘవ్ కామెడీ టైమింగ్ కొన్ని సన్నివేశాల్లో చిరునవ్వు తెప్పించింది. తండ్రి పాత్రలో దేవి ప్రసాద్ నటన హుందాగా ఉంది. మిగతా నటీనటులు పర్వాలేదు.

చివరగా చెప్పేది ఏంటంటే? : 'ఓ కల' కథలో మలుపులు లేవు. భావోద్వేగాలు భారీ స్థాయిలో లేవు. అయితే, అర్థవంతమైన సంభాషణలతో పాటు చక్కటి దర్శకత్వం సినిమాను చూడబుల్ గా చేశాయి. ఒక్కసారి చూడటం మొదలు పెడితే అలా అలా ముందుకు వెళతాం. చక్కటి సందేశం ఇస్తుందీ సినిమా. ఎటువంటి అంచనాలు పెట్టుకోకుండా చూస్తే... సర్‌ప్రైజ్ చేస్తుంది. టైమ్‌పాస్ కోసం వీకెండ్ ఓ లుక్ వేయవచ్చు.

Story: The movie revolves around Harika (played by Roshhni Sahota), an MBA marketing graduate who starts an advertising company with the aim of providing employment opportunities to others. However, the company runs into financial troubles, and Harika reaches a point of despair where she decides to end her life. It is at this critical juncture that she meets Harsha (played by Gourish Yeleti), a stranger who unexpectedly alters the course of her life. The rest of the film delves into the identity of Harsha and the turn of events that take place as a result of his intervention.

Plus Points: The success of O Kala heavily relied on the performances of the lead actors, and Roshni Sahota and Gourish Yeleti didn’t disappoint. Despite being their debut movie, both actors delivered a commendable performance that elevated the film’s impact.

Roshni Sahota, a well-known Hindi TV actress, stunned the Telugu audience with her expressive portrayal of Harika. ‘O Kala’ first look release on the hands of director Rajamouli

Lakshmi Navya Mothuru, Ranjit Kumar Kodali and Aditya Reddy are producing the movie ‘O Kala’ under the banner of Eternity Entertainment and Aham Azmi Films with Gaurish Yeleti, Roshini and Prachi Thakkar as the heroines under the direction of Deepak Kolipaka. The first look of the film was unveiled at a function held at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad on Saturday.

The Director Rajamouli released this first look. After the release of First Look, Rajamouli said, “The first look of ‘O Kala’ movie is very attractive. This is where the film comes in handy. I think director Deepak Kolipaka is shooting this film wonderfully. Cinema is everyone’s dream. All of you have fulfilled that dream with this film. Many more are living with this dream.

The dream of all such people will come true if they work hard. Congratulations to the cast, technicians and producers who worked on this film. ” Also, the entire film unit along with ‘Hit’ film director Shailesh Kolanu participated in the event. Director Deepak Kolipaka speaking on this occasion, said, “We are really happy to release First Look at the hands of our director Rajamouli garu, who has brought world-class recognition to Telugu cinema.

His blessings have given us so much strength. He wants to always be an inspiration to directors like this. When it comes to cinema.. O Kala OTT release date: When and where to watch Gourish Yeleti, Roshni Sahota’s film

Written and directed by Deepak Kolipaka, the romance drama is set for a direct-to-OTT release on this leading platform

Disney+ Hotstar is gradually cementing its authority among Telugu audiences with a slew of releases this year. While it grabbed hold of the Sankranthi biggie Veera Simha Reddy, it has hogged the limelight for a number of shows and post-theatrical releases like Jhansi Season 2, Sadha Nannu Nadipe, Sridevi Shoban Babu, Anger Tales, to name a few.

The streaming giant has now acquired another Telugu film for a direct-to-OTT release. The platform’s next release is O Kala, a romance drama starring Gourish Yeleti, Roshni Sahota and Prachi Thacker in the lead roles. The film is written and directed by Deepak Kolipaka. Navya Mahesh M, Aditya Reddy and Ranjith Kumar Kodali bankrolled the film under Eternity Entertainment and Aham Asmi Films.

The makers, who released the promos and the lyrical videos of the film a few months ago, have sealed the deal for a direct premiere on Disney+ Hotstar for a fancy price. The film will be landing on the platform on April 13. The trailer of the drama was unveiled today in the presence of noted producer Dil Raju.

The trailer showcases the highs and lows in the relationship of a young couple. The youngster is chasing a career in films and the girl believes that he’s leading a rosy life sans hassles. A filmmaker troubles the aspirant actor and makes him do odd jobs on sets while the latter’s relationship progresses smoothly. However, a misunderstanding forces them to part ways. Is there a happy ending in store?

Raghavendra, Ali play important roles in O Kala. Neelesh Mandalapu scores the music for the film which has cinematography by Akhil Valluri. Satya Giduturi is the editor. Chandrakiran is the choreographer while Krishna Chaitanya, Rakendu Mouli and Nikhat Khan are the lyricists. Sistla VMK is the production designer.

Malayalam films have been performing exceptionally well since quite some time now. Some movies fail to run successfully at the box office, but gain attention on OTT platforms. One of the recent Malayalam films that is making headlines on OTT is the crime drama movie Anchakkallakokkan. This film was released in theatres on March 15, 2024, and got average reviews at the box office. Now this movie is streaming on Amazon Prime Video and is receiving love from the viewers. The film debuted on OTT one month after its theatrical premiere.The movie garnered a huge and wider audience and fan base. According to reports, Anchakkallakokkan is garnering good reviews from the audience.

The film features Chemban Vinod Jose and Lukman Avaran in the lead roles. These actors demonstrated their acting prowess years ago. It also stars Manikandan R Achari, Megha Thomas, Merin Mary Philip, Sreejith Ravi, and Senthil Krishna in pivotal roles.

The film is directed by Ullas Chemban, and Anchakkallakokkan is said to have collected over Rs 2 crore at the box office.The movie revolved around a crime that happened during local elections in 1986. Though there are many crime dramas in Malayalam cinemas, this one has managed to win millions of hearts.

Lukman Avaran, who played one of the lead characters in Anchakkallakokkan, will soon be seen in the upcoming Malayalam-language film Kundannoorile Kulsitha Lahala. Akshay Ashok PK directed the film, which is produced by Aji P Joseph under the name Cadre Cine Creations. The film’s major cast includes Lukman Avaran, Veena Nair, Dasettan Kozhikode, Jain George, Asha Madathil, and Adhin Ollur. While Melvin Michael composed the film’s soundtrack. The movie is said to hit theatres on May 19, 2024.

Actor, film producer, and screenwriter Chemban Vinod Jose was seen in the action drama film Antony before Anchakkallakokkan. Antony was directed by Joshiy and written by Rajesh Varma. It received mixed responses and became a moderate success at the box office.
