IGNOU June 2024 TEE: The deadline to submit the projects, practical files, dissertations, and internship reports is May 15

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date for submission of assignments for ODL and online programmes for the June 2024 Term End Examination (TEE). As per an official notice, the deadline to submit the assignment is till May 15. Students who are enrolled in the ODL, online courses, GOAL and EVBB for the June 2024 TEE can now submit their dissertations, projects, practical files, and internship reports on the official website of IGNOU at ignou.ac.in.

“With the approval of the competent authority, the last date for submission of assignments (both in hard copy and soft copy) for term end examination, June 2024 for both ODL and online programmes, GOAL and EVBB has been extended up to May 15,” reads the official notification.

Candidates must include a copy of the fee receipt with their project report whether submitting it in hard form or uploading it to the online portal. Earlier, the submission deadline was till April 30.

Candidates can check the status of their assignments by going to ignou.ac.in after they submit them. The assignment submission status is normally displayed on the official website 30 days after it is physically submitted at the allotted study centre. To check the IGNOU assignment submission status, candidates must provide login credentials such as their IGNOU enrollment number and the IGNOU programme code.

Step 2: Look for and click on the June TEE 2024 assignment submission link, available on the homepage.

Step 3: Then log in using the credential in the designated space.

IGNOU had extended not just the deadline for submitting assignments but also the date for submitting examination forms. The deadline to apply for TEE June 2024 with a Rs 1,100 late fee was May 2. According to the official notice provided by IGNOU, term-end examinations for the June 2024 session will begin on June 7, 2024, and end on July 13, 2024. The exams will be held in two shifts – from 10 am to 1 pm (morning shift) and from 2 pm to 5 pm (evening shift).

The IGNOU has released the guidelines that students must comply while preparing and submitting their assignments. Here are the updated guidelines:

All the assignment should be hand written.

Students must use A4 ruled paper (unless it is instructed on your TMA).

Leave 4 cm margin on left and right side of each page.

Do not use staplers, to bind the pages; you use need threads (what is typically found with cover files).

Avoid using any ink colour other than blue and black.

First you need to attach the cover page (You will find it at your study centre).

Then, attach a photocopy of your IGNOU ID card.

After that, attach a copy of your TMA (question paper on your assignment document).

Lastly, attach your hand written answers.

Leave one blank page in the end.

Do not use any files while submitting your assignments. Your assignment should only consist of the pages, tied with a thread.

You must take a submission receipt, which will be stamped by the study centre with submission dates. In case, your study centre is unable to provide you one, take a photocopy of the cover page of your assignment and get that stamped.

Note: For submission of practicals, you need to use a cover file.

IGNOU Extends December 2022 TEE Assignment Submission Deadline Till December 15

Ignou has extended the december 2022 tee assignment submission deadline and candidates can now submit the assignments till december 15..

IGNOU December TEE 2022: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has further extended the last date to submit assignments, project reports, fieldwork journals, dissertations, internship reports and DECE project reports for the Term-End Examination (TEE) December 2022. Candidates can now submit the hard copy or soft copy of the assignments for both Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and online programmes till December 15, 2022. The IGNOU December TEE 2022 assignment can be submitted by the students through the official website of IGNOU-- ignou.ac.in.

IGNOU's official notice reads: “With the approval of the competent authority, the last date for submission of assignments (both in hard copy and soft copy), project reports, fieldwork journals (practicum), dissertation and internship reports and DECE project reports for December 2022 TEE for both ODL and online programmes has been further extended upto 15th December, 2022”.

The IGNOU December TEE 2022 exam started today, December 2. The exam will be held in two shifts from 10 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 5 pm. The examination will be held till January 9, 2023.

Earlier as well, IGNOU extended the last date to submit assignments for the December TEE 2022. Candidates were asked to submit their assignments, final project, dissertation, fieldwork journals, and internship reports first by September 30, then till October 31 and again till November 30.

NEW DELHI : The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date to submit assignments for the Term-End Examination (TEE) June 2023 for online and Online Distance Learning till May 15. IGNOU June TEE 2023 will be conducted from June 1. Students appearing for the exams can check the June 2023 datesheet on the official website – ignou.ac.in.

“With the approval of the Competent Authority, the last date for submission of assignments (both in hard copy and soft copy) for Term End Examinations, June2023 for ODL, Online programmes, GOAL and EVBB ha:s further been extended up to 15th MAY, 2023,” said an official notice from IGNOU.

Students need to submit one hand-written assignment for each eight credit course. Students have to submit fresh assignments and once they are uploaded, the old assignments are not valid.

How to submit IGNOU assignments?

• Submit assignments to your study centre or regional centre as per the instructions given by the regional centre. Include your contact information (programme code, course code, enrollment no, email, phone) on assignments.
• If only hard copies are being accepted as per instructions provided by your regional centre, send hand written, signed assignments to the address provided to you. In case soft copies are being accepted during extenuating circumstances such as Covid 19, these must be signed and scanned. If you have opted for SOGDS as your RC, submit your assignments to [email protected]
• Assignments must be submitted as single documents for each course. Do not submit separate pages and do not combine assignments for two courses in a single document.

“In case you miss the assignment submission deadline, you may still be able to submit it late. However, this may entail a late fee for the related Term End Exam. If you have submitted the assignment but miss an exam, you can appear for the exam in any subsequent semester,” said IGNOU in FAQs.

Notification regarding Extension of last date for June 2024 TEE Submission of Assignment

IGNOU Assignment Last date Extended, Applicable to Project submission too.

Last date of IGNOU assignment has been further extended upto 15th May 2024 as huge number of student has take admission on 31st March 2024.

This is applicable to All Programme student under TEE June 2024 SSN including Master and Bachelor Degree. IGNOU Assignment last date is common for all students irrespective of Admission year, Programme or Mode (ODL or OL).

IGNOU Assignment last date is always extended from 31 march to 30 April in first lot because of extension in admission date for January session. Student can submit assignment for June 2024 session before the deadline date.  Click to know "Assignment Writing Tips" effectively. Check previous Session extended last date(s) here for reference purpose. Extension notification is delayed for coming June session because of weekend holiday in end of march month.

Further, IGNOU Exam form last date is extended till 25  May 2024 . So it implies in a way that Assignment last date also to be again extended around the last date of exam form submission. This is as per previous session practice of extension in last date for assignment and exam form together.  Also the study material delay delivery is reason for assignment date extension. Assignment submission for June 2024 session has started from 1 March 2024. Both ODL and OL Programme mode student has to submit assignment for each course code. IGNOU Exam form submission has also started and student can Apply for exam.

IGNOU assignment last date is a time frame given to the students. They need to download question paper and submit assignment answers at Study centre (for ODL mode students ) or at LMS (for OL mode students ). Assignment to be submitted at study centre in Offline mode (in person / Speed Post) or as per your Regional Centre guidelines.

The last date is mentioned on the assignment question paper itself. As per assignment question paper for few programme last date is 31 March 2024 while it is 30 April 2024 for few programme.  The Bottom line is 30 April 2024 is the last date for all IGNOU Programme because last date is never programme specific.

Assignment submission is mandatory for writing the examination.

All Master Degree, Bachelor Degree, Diploma and PG Diploma Programme student should download the Assignment question paper, write assignment answer and submit the same in March – April 2024 . All Certificate student who has not submitted assignment for TEE December 2023 session can now submit assignment in March – April 2024 All semester-based programme student (eg. BCA, MCA, MBA, etc) if not submitted assignment for TEE December 2023 can now submit assignment in March – April 2024.

IGNOU Assignment deadline is extended time to time by the official notification. Extension granted in assignment last date for the previous session is mentioned below for reference purpose.

Submission of IGNOU Assignment is compulsory to be eligible for appearing in theory exam (TEE). There is a provision of assignment submission declaration while submitting IGNOU exam form online. IGNOU assignment is a set of questions to test student’s comprehension of learning the materials they receive from the University and also to help them get through the courses by providing feedback to them. The status of assignment can be checked online and is reflected in Grade Card after few weeks. Submitting neat and legible assignment response can help to fetch extra score .

After Assignment submission student can submit IGNOU Exam form online. Hall ticket / admit card is generated 10 - 15 day before the start of examination. IGNOU datesheet is issued nearly 2 months before the start of exam.

IGNOU assignment plays very important role in fetching good percentage of marks, so you should give attention to the assignment portion along with your theory exam. Assignment should be hand written. After wring assignment answer attach cover page ( Click here for cover page) on each of your assignment. Tie all the pages nicely to avoid any paper misplacement during evaluation. What is Assignment Submission Deadline in IGNOU ?

IGNOU assignment last date is also called the deadline to submit assignment at Study center. Online mode (OL) learner need to submit assignment at LMS (Learning Management System). As per University Calendar Assignment submission is done twice every year for June and December session .

As per instruction, IGNOU assignment submission last date varies from programme to programme. The due date is mentioned in the instruction page of assignment question paper.

• For TEE June Cycle / Session   : In this cycle Assignment submission starts from 1st March and ends on 31 March but in some case (like when admission for January Cycle is delayed ) the University  extends the last date for assignment submission like for TEE June 2022 session it was extended upto 20th July 2022 and
• For TEE Dec Cycle/ Session : In this cycle Assignment submission start from 1st September and ends on 30th September but in some case (like when admission for July Cycle is delayed) the University extends the last date for assignment submission.

Explained with Example

1. For Student of Year based UG, PG, PG Diploma or Diploma programme

Any student who got admitted in Jan 2022 Admission Cycle and his/her programme is Year based (Eg : MEG, MPS, MCOM, MPA etc) such learner is supposed to submit 1st Year assignment between 1 - 30th Sep 2021 and this session is considered as TEE DEC 2022 SESSION . For any extension in submission date for that session may be checked on the website. Failing in assignment submission for TEE DEC 2022 SESSION, then leaner can submit the assignment in the next coming cycle.

2. For Student of Semester based UG, PG, Diploma, PG Diploma and Certificate programme

Any student who got admitted in Jan 2022 Admission Cycle and his/her programme is Semester based (Eg: BCA, MCA, MP, PGCCL etc) such learner is supposed to submit 1st Semester assignment between 1 - 30th March 2021 and this session is considered as TEE JUNE 2022 SESSION .For any extension in submission date for that session may be checked on the website. Failing in assignment submission for TEE JUNE 2022 SESSION, then leaner can submit the assignment in the next coming cycle.

Note : Assignment Question paper can be downloaded from University Website. Before writing assignment answers check the validity of Assignment question paper which is written on the Assignment Question paper itself. Student who could submit assignment then they need to download fresh Assignment Question paper from website.

The IGNOU Student Evaluation Division (SED) monitors and updates Term-end examinations result, assignments submisisons and extension of dates, projects, practical examinations, dissertations, viva-voce, field work, etc. and award of  degrees/ Diplomas/ certificates.

First year July 2023 admission session students of MEG, MCOM, , MHD, MPS, MAH, MSO, MAPC, MEC, MPA, MAAN, MGPS, MARD, MSCDFSM, MSCCFT, MSW, MSWC, MAEDU, MADE, MAAE, MAPY, MADVS,  MAGD, MATS, MAJMC etc can submit assignment for June 2024 session. The last date of IGNOU assignment is 30 April 2024.

Students need to download the assignment question papers online from the IGNOU official portal.

Step – 1 – Visit the assignment link at the IGNOU portal at https://webservices.ignou.ac.in/assignments/ .

Step – 2 – Select your level and click.

Step – 3 – Select your program and then your course.

Step – 4 – Next, select your session and then select your year.

Step – 5 – Soon, the assignments will appear on the screen.

Step – 6 – Download the assignments and take a print.

The assignments should be written using a blue or black pen only. There should be a cover page for each assignment stating the program, course, subject, candidate name, and enrolment number.

IGNOU Assignment Submission Methods in 2024

There are two ways to submit the IGNOU assignments.

Offline Assignment Submission

Students who wish to submit assignments offline can visit their respective study centers and submit the assignments. The assignments should be written on A4 size papers and bound together. The assignment should have a cover page that should have the student name, enrollment number, regional center code, subject code, and name, program, course, and session.

Online Assignment Submission

For online submission, there are two ways of assignment submission.

• Online Submission on Portal: Students who wish to submit assignments online through portal should follow this procedure:

Step – 1 – Visit the official IGNOU portal at http://ignou.ac.in and go to your Regional center.

Step – 2 – IGNOU will display the Google Form link for assignment submission at the appropriate time in the News and Events section.

Step – 3 – Click the link to open and register yourself with your name, enrolment number, and other necessary details

Step – 4 – Upload the documents one by one carefully matching the subject code

Step – 5 – When all the uploads are done, submit the assignments.

• Online Submission through Email: Sometimes the university may ask the students to send the assignments through email to avoid litigation and other issues. In this case, the students will have to carefully arrange the assignment with the cover page and email it to the respective regional email addresses. Students can get regional email addresses from the respective Regional IGNOU Portal.

Tip to Prepare IGNOU Assignments 2024

It is crucial to prepare the IGNOU assignment properly because that will help in exam preparations too. Here are some important tips that can help in preparing IGNOU assignments better.

• Go through the questions carefully first to understand them properly.
• Research each question carefully to get the right information. You can take references from the IGNOU modules and also other online web pages. You can even get help from the study center coordinators if the question is confusing or you are not getting its answer.
• Start writing much before time from the deadline so that you do not have to rush at the last moment.
• Maintain your pace so that you do not mess with your handwriting.
• Once your assignment is complete, make a cover page for each subject.
• The cover page will be the first page of the assignment and will include your name, enrolment number, regional center code, program name & code, course name & code, and subject name & code.
• Go through the entire assignment thoroughly several times before submitting it to skip any errors.

Assignments are a great way to fetch at least 30% marks on your exam. So, you should be careful while preparing your assignments. Also, you should submit the assignment on time and should pass them to pass in that particular subject. So, you should provide extreme attention while preparing your IGNOU assignments.

IGNOU Assignment Weighted in 2024

Assignments are a crucial part in IGNOU examinations because they carry 30% of the exam grading. IGNOU offers one assignment per subject that the student should complete and submit on time mandatorily.

The assignments are usually handwritten by maintaining the proper format that is mentioned in the IGNOU assignment notice. The total passing mark of the assignments is 40% in each assignment. If someone fails to avail the minimum passing score, then the person has to write and submit the assignment again in the next cycle to pass in that particular subject as a whole.

What is the last date to submit assignments in ignou 2024.

The last date to submit assignments in IGNOU 2024 is 15th May 2024 for TEE June 2024 .

Can I submit assignments after the due date in IGNOU?

If you do not submit the assignments by the mentioned date, then you will have to rewrite them again in the next session after 6 months. But if IGNOU extends the submission date, then you can submit the assignments after the current due date.

Can I submit an assignment after the IGNOU exam?

If you have missed IGNOU assignment submission last date, you can still appear in your exam. But you will have to rewrite your pending assignment in the next session.

Ignou has extended assignment dates for assignment and project submission the university is going to extend the date of submission of various assignments, projects, and dissertation papers up to june 30 this year:.

The Indira Gandhi National Open University has extended the dates for the assignment submission for June TEE 2022. This extension will enable the students to submit their project reports, field works, journals, and dissertation and internship reports for the Term End Examination in June this year.  

Indira Gandhi National Open University in its latest press release said that the university is going to extend the date of submission of various assignments, projects, and dissertation papers up to June 30 this year. It allows candidates the flexibility of additional time for the submission of their fieldwork journals, internal assignments, project reports and dissertation papers, etc.

 In a fresh release of the Students Evaluation Division (SED, the administration of the university said that the new extension of the submission of the assignment is the 30th of June 2022. In a notice of SED dated 18th of June, it is said that the university will provide fresh relaxation in the dates to the candidates will be provided with the approval of the competent authority of the university.

The statement further said that the students can either submit the assignment or the project report for the June TEE in an online or offline format. The Assistant Registrar of SED said that further extension is provided to the students who haven’t submitted their IGNOU assignments in their respective regional centers. The last date is 30th June and the previous date for the submission of the assignment was 15th of May, 2022.

Candidates can easily submit all the assignment papers, IGNOU project works, and dissertation papers using either an online web link or by visiting the nearest Ignou regional centers .
