Little Peter Rabbit

How to use this song with babies.

Try gently stroking your baby’s ears (floppy ears) and each side of their mouth (curly whiskers)

How to use this song with toddlers

Let your little one try and copy your actions as you sing the song – make bunny ears with your hands, touch your nose and flap your hands to fly away

How to use this song with 3 to 5-year olds

Once children know the song and the actions, try missing out some of the words but keep the actions – see if they can fill in the blanks for you – or sing quietly in their head

Little Peter Rabbit lyrics

Little Peter Rabbit had a fly upon his nose,

Little Peter Rabbit had a fly upon his nose.

So he flipped it and he flopped it

And the fly flew away.

Floppy tail and curly whiskers,
