Essay on School Picnic 200 words

It was the first day in school after first term examination when school picnic for this year was announced in the class. Everyone has been excited since then. This year’s picnic was destined to be at Vananchal resort which is located in the forest of Jambughoda. Luckily for me and my group permission of our parents has never been a problem, so we were set to go since the day of announcement.

It was a cold winter morning, the school bus departed at sharp seven in the morning. Almost two hour long route to the resort felt like a matter of few minutes as we played fun games with fellow classmates. We reported to the resort at around 9, we were all provided welcome drinks. Then we left for nature walk where we saw varied types of trees and birds. After the nature walk it was time for the most exciting part of the picnic.

Yes! It was pool time which unfortunately couldn’t last whole day. That’s the thing about pool, no matter how long you get to be in it, it’s never enough. Then we had lunch, followed by some fun activities such as rappelling and zip-line which too was fun. The time passed so soon that we couldn’t even realize the day was over. This was indeed a day I’ll cherish for a long time.

Essay on School Picnic to Water Park 300 words

“Picnic”, a day every student in the school is eagerly awaits the whole year. This year’s school picnic was to be held at Splash Water Park which was at three hour’s drive from our school. Everyone from my class was showing up for the picnic expect for one of my friend Kashyap who unfortunately was out of station on the day of picnic to attend some family function.

School Picnic to Water Park

On the day of the picnic unlike every other day we reported to the school earlier than our regular timings, due to excitement, obviously! Our class was divided into four groups of ten students each. Each group had one leader to watch upon the respective team members. I was the captain of our group.

We reached the destination at 10am and were given half an hour to collect our swim suits take a shower and get ready for the real fun. Water Park was full of amazing water rides namely Demon’s hole, lazy river, Amazonia, free fall, loop hole, etc. Demon’s hole and Amazonia were my favourite. Demon’s hole was a dark cylindrical water slide with utterly thrilling twists and turns and Amazonia was a super large water slide which took us through an artificially created jungle, which gave a feel of passing through the streams in Amazon rain forests.

In lunch, we were served lip-smacking Punjabi food with gulab jamuns in dessert. Then, there was a wave pool, besides which there was a beautiful artificial waterfall. We checked out from the park at 5pm in the evening and returned to our school at around eight.

I remember almost nothing from the return journey as we were all tired till the end of the day. Our legs were paining as they had exercised hard while climbing those steps for the slides, and thus out of exhaustion almost everyone was asleep in the bus while returning. It was a day well spent.

Essay on School Picnic to Amusement Park 400 words

Amusement park have always been my favourite destination for a day out. To my delight this year’s school picnic was destined to Essel world. This picnic meant a lot as it was our tenth standard and maybe was the last year together in school. Next year I and my friends will be in different streams. We had every hope to make this one memorable so that we bid goodbye having loads of happy memories.

School Picnic to Amusement Park

Sleepless night has always been a pre-picnic symptom for me. I could never sleep until late at night before picnic out of thoughts of how amazing the following day would be. The way from school to the amusement park was quite a long one during which we played dumb charades and truth and dare to kill time.

We were dropped at a place via bus from which we had to check in a boat to further reach the amusement park. From the boat we could see a ride called Shot-N-Drop. We could hear the shouts of people enjoying the ride and could feel the thrill from the boat itself. It was our day today, maybe the last one with our people, and we had to make the most out of it. So, without even wasting a minute we rushed into the park to gain the most out of it.

Today, I don’t remember every ride we had been on, but I still remember the butterflies in my stomach when a ride named thunder swung us all from one side to the other, those moments of thrill and fear when Shot-N-Drop had us on free fall, those goose bumps when Top-Spin whirled us round, those stupid laughs when our dashing cars dashed into others, that joy of finally making out of Alibaba’s mirror maze and that tingling moment when Aqua-dive splash splashed upon us the droplets of cold water.

The happiness that we gained in the most simple things in life, bursting into laughter after playing pranks on our fellow classmates and that momentary anger of the one who had been pranked, those tired yet smiling faces at the end of the day and many more tingling moments are the memories to cherish forever.

Memories of this day will always hold a cosy corner in my and all our hearts. Somewhere I still wish if I could go back to this day again and feel that same thing with those same people all over again.

Essay on School Picnic to Zoo 500 words

I was in standard 3 rd when my school had arranged a picnic to Kamla Nehru zoo situated besides Kankaria Lake, Ahmedabad. Being a kid, I was extremely excited for the picnic. A day before picnic I went to the nearby shop with my father to buy some snacks for the picnic. I bought a packet of chips, cookies, soya sticks and few packets of chewing gum.

My School Picnic to Zoo

This was probably the only day in the whole year when I would pack my things up the previous night, obviously because I didn’t want to get late on the picnic day. After making my things ready I made a conference call with my friends. We discussed about how excited we all were for our picnic. We fixed the time we were going to catch up the next day.

I was up before the alarm despite not being able to sleep until late at night. I got to school at around 7am in the morning, half an hour prior to the reporting time. We had to be in pair on this day, which was decided on the basis of roll numbers, luckily for me I partnered up with Manan whose number was right next to me. Singing, dancing, playing we travelled the road till the destination. We were served ice-cream as soon as we got there. We were all excited to step in the zoo.

First of all we had to enter the bird section where we saw a number of varied and beautiful birds. Toucan, a black and yellow coloured bird with a large beak, kingfisher a little bird with most vivid colours, Hornbill a beautiful bird with a horn like thing on its head and albatross a fine white and black coloured with aquatic habitat were some of the birds we saw. We also saw deer, hippopotamus, fox, wolf, alligator, crocodile, wild ass, yellow python snake, bear and many more. But our favourite ones were still left, where we had to visit after the lunch.

Finally, after the lunch it was the time for which we were all so excited about – to see the fastest animal cheetah, the national animal tiger and of course the king of the jungle, lion. We also saw jaguar and leopard. We were done with the zoo at around 3 in the afternoon, and we had time until 5 pm so the teachers decided to take us all to have a look around at Kankaria Lake. It was a beautiful place.

We sat on a mini toy train there which took us on a ride around the lake. After everyone completed the ride, it was almost 5 which was the time to leave for home. Teachers started counting the number of students, which brought them to the conclusion that one kid from our class has been missing. The teachers panicked however they were finally able to find Hussain, the lost one after 10 minutes of search operation.

Today, it might be a mere picnic to a zoo, but when I remember back I realized how these little things used to make me happy.

Essay on School Picnic to Kidzania 600 words

School trips are the most awaited ones. They not only give us a long break from our monotonous lives but also bring lots of memories. Last year, I went to Kidzania for the school trip and here are my experiences from that trip.

My School Picnic to Kidzania

Our day at Kidzania began at 9 in the morning. I was stunned looking at this wonderful place which was actually a city which we have all dreamt about. It was clean, had well organized buildings, well developed roads, factories, police station, grocery shops, trees and everything that is present in a well developed city. The day began with Kidzania theme song where all the staff members dance and welcome the kids and their parents.

Just as every country has its own currency; Kidzania also has its own currency named Kidzos. After entering every child is given a cheque of 50 Kidzos which he/ she can withdraw whenever needed to enjoy the activities in the Kidzania world.

There were different buildings build for different purposes. There were offices, factories and many other places where we can work and get salary in Kidzos. The kids are divided in different groups for different jobs as per their age. First of all, I and my friends went to the dentist and learnt some skills for removing the tooth having cavities. Not only this, we also did check up of other kids with different instruments. At the end of that, the head dentist made us understand about how crucial it is to do proper brushing. After that, we went to the bakery and made our very own delicious donuts.

We also did the wall painting on a very huge wall besides the road. Then, we got to know that there is a fashion show and we can walk on the ramp wearing those beautiful clothes. I and my friends couldn’t control our excitement and we immediately went for that. We walked through the ramp and it was an amazing experience. To our excitement, we saw an ice cream parlour next to that building. Going inside we realized that we can make our own ice cream, of whichever flavour we like. Similarly, there was a Kinder Joy factory where we made Kinder Joy and a Kellogs factory where we made Chocos.

Not just work, there were buildings in which there were classes to learn dance, play guitar, drums and flute, and also sing. So, we tried out almost everything we could. I learnt few notes on guitar and that was my first time on any musical instrument. After learning all this new stuff, we thought to try our hands on gadgets also. So, we went to the gadget store nearby where we were given information about the technology used in mobile phones and laptops. It was real fun.

To end our tour, there was a series of folk dances and music where all the kids had prepared something of their own for the entertainment of the audiences. I was also a part of a group with whom I performed Bhangra. This made us interact with other kids more and that is where I made my new friends who were basically from Amritsar, my birth place. All of the shows, including the singing event, helped us know how amazingly talented other kids were. After all of this there was a thank you speech by the staff members with whom we were also connected now.

All of this experience of being part of this amazing world was beyond words. It was the world where we not just used the amenities but also helped in creating them. The joy of making something on your own was just beyond words. Every kid should once visit Kidzania in their childhood and make long lasting memories there.

Trip to KidZania: A blend of adventure and learning for kids of Std. 4 & 5

Our school recently organized an educational-cum-fun tour to KidZania Mumbai, for students of Std 4 and 5. It was truly a wonderful experience.

The group actually visited three places i.e. Lion Safari and train ride at Vasai, KidZania at Ghatkopar and Silent Hills Resort at Manor.

On 20 th September, we started the journey from school. Upon reaching Suvi Palace at Vasai, we got fresh and after lunch we headed to our first spot of Lion Safari and train ride. All students enjoyed very much despite there being a heavy downpour.

The next day, after our breakfast, we headed towards KidZania at R City Mall in Ghatkopar. It was a perfect combination of fun and learning. The various activities in KidZania were designed to aid in physical and intellectual growth, contribute to the development of skills and attitudes, stimulate creative thinking and boost self-esteem and self-confidence. On the third floor of the mall was a KidZania activity, where kids when entered, they are given some kidZos (KidZania currency), and using these kidZos they can play games in the establishment. If they went bankrupt, they had a chance to work and earn kidZos again and continue playing games. Also, if they are tired, the kids could also spend their kidZos on actual food stuff. There were 24 games in total. The activities taught the kids the values of hard work, discipline, etc. Towards evening, everyone was exhausted and headed towards the hotel. Before dinner the kids had an exciting round of dance with the DJ music till late evening. After dinner it was a pleasant and resting night time.

On the third day we headed towards Silent Hills Resort at Manor. All kids were ready with the costumes to jump into the water rides. They enjoyed till late afternoon. Thereafter, we had a delicious lunch and left back for our school. By 9.00 pm we were back already at Atmiya Vidya Mandir. The tour was truly a memorable one with lots of new experiences for the kids to cherish for a long time to come.

My Trip To Kidzania

school trip to kidzania essay

I got up early in the morning as I was excited for the trip to Kidzania. I went to school and boarded the bus. I was very excited. My best friend sat next to me. Our bags were filled with snacks. We had chips, biscuits, juice, chocolates and cakes with us. We ate them all. Then, we played many games throughout journey. We reached Kidzania in two hours. It was a great place for us to learn different professions and skills at a single place. It was very well customized and managed.

There we saw Car showroom, hospital, Amity University, dance school, court, etc. In the car showroom we could role-play as an Auditor or Customer, test the skills of the Car Sales Executive and give an approval to the Showroom Manager. I sold a vehicle there. I appeared for JEE exam in Kidzania. I topped in the exam. It was great fun. I directed a movie in acting school. I made a pizza in dominos and earned some money. I got a credit and debit card. I enjoyed my trip and want to visit there again. It was a educating and entertaining experience.

Class 4 experience Kidzania!

Last week, Class 4 went on a school trip to Kidzania. It was so much fun! We (children only!) got to try our hands at many different jobs; firemen, policemen, doctors, nurses, pilots, chefs, fashion stylists and many more. The children had to get themselves jobs to earn money.

On arrival, the children were given 50 kidzos (kidzania currency) and the challenge to earn 75 Kidzos meant they could then open their own bank account.

We had a wonderful time trying lots of different jobs and being paid for them; we spent our KidZos on face paint and in the shop!

It was great to see the children being independent learners, acting responsibly and managing their time so well.

Well done Class 4, I am looking forward to Kidzania helping our recount writing unit and enabling us to look closer at life outside of school.

It was so epic. I did 4 jobs;FOOTBALL,BABY CARE,AIR CONDITIONING AND H&M. I had so much fun. Next time I can get a bank card!

It was so fun and I can’t believe Miss Hatherley let us go!(she is such a superstar in class 4!).

Kidzania was really good trip,I even got a bank account! I also enjoyed it because there were a variety of jobs to do!

It was really fun going to Kidzania!I really liked trying all the different jobs. My favourite job was being a footballer, and scoring lots of goals. It was a very good experience, and hopefully I will be quite good if I get a job. When I am older I want to be a footballer if I am good enough. I tried 7 jobs in total.

The experience was super

Personally I loved KidZania. Out of all of the amazing experience ( it’s hard for me to choose ), I’d say that H&M was my favourite. All of it was amazing. From wandering around KidZania to doing the jobs themselves, it was, it is my favourite trip yet. There will probably ( what am I saying, definitely ) be more brilliant trips to come. Maybe even better! Although that was an extrordinary trip we had to KidZania. Even the name is fascinating. In the top ten trips ever, definitely. Maybe top three, possibly. Maybe.

It was an amazing experience

I loved being a Pokemon animator and making wraps and it extremely fun. I even got to make six and take them all home and it was really enjoyable. I will never forget this moment and I would definitely want to come back again.

It was really fun going on this trip, I loved that we started with 50 money and that we went after year 5, and I did the job ‘advertisement’, which I loved.

It was really fun going on this trip I loved that we started with 50 Kidzos each and we went after year 5! I did the job advertisement task and I got paid 8 Kidzos. The trip taught us adult jobs but for kids so I got to experience the adults jobs and what they are.

The experience was awesome and I really enjoyed it

It was really fun going to kidzania, the most exciting job was the Pokemon animator. I’d definitely go again and also I got a credit card.

When I stepped into kidzaina, I was surprised because it looked like a real city…

I really enjoyed this trip as you got to experience what it was like to be an adult and do different things. I went to the job centre first and the jobs I got were hotel receptionist, fashion model and stock manager at a department store. Here are some KidZania facts: the currency is KiZos and the chain first started in Mexico.

Hello everyone 🙂 Its me Willyn from the last year 6 I just wanted to see what you guys are doing this year I heard that you went to KidZania I saw all the pictures, it looked like you had so much fun. Can’t wait for you to post more things about what you are doing this and next year. Hopefully I would have the time to see you all again. Goodbye and goodluck 😉 Hope you enjoy year 4

It was so fun to go to Kidzania because we got to roam around free and do so many activities I really enjoyed getting a fake tatto and you didn’t have to pay with real money you got to pay with kidzos

KidZania London: how a visit can inspire future careers

KidZania London

Taking pupils on a trip to KidZania London allows them to explore careers practically and apply their skills from an early age.

School students at KidZania London

School groups can get to grips with a range of real-world jobs to help inspire the next generation of workers.

KidZania London , a mini city located in Westfield White City, has been a leader in edutainment and experiential learning for more than eight years. The 75,000 sq ft. space offers children the opportunity to learn through play by engaging in various career-related activities.

Upon arrival, children receive 50 kidZos (KidZania’s currency), marking the start of their journey. Like grown-ups, from this moment onwards, they are responsible for their own money, and can earn more kidZos through work or spend them to acquire new skills within the city.

The activities, designed with the national curriculum in mind, allow children to explore various professions. They can become florists, artists, actors, news presenters, vets, doctors, fire fighters, newspaper journalists, radio DJs, aeroplane pilots at the British Airways Academy, musicians at the Roland Studio, and more.

Students at KidZania London have a go at working in a supermarket.

Staff are on-hand to show visiting schools how to take part in their chosen activity, such as working in a supermarket.

During their four-hour visit, children will use their teamwork, resilience, confidence, independence, citizenship, PSHE, literacy, financial literacy, and self-management skills. They will leave inspired and curious about their future and the opportunities ahead.

A school trip to KidZania, it helps children…

  • Develop their identity and grow their skills in a safe space At KidZania , children are encouraged to express themselves freely and grow their self-confidence. All staff inside the city are DBS checked, and children cannot leave without their group leaders. A first aider is always on site, and the team is trained to respond to various emergencies and interact with children.
  • Learn about careers in a practical way and through role-play In the classroom, careers’ learning can often be theoretical and challenging to incorporate. However, research suggests that children learn more about careers by doing and meeting role models. At KidZania, everything is based on experiential learning. Children get to try out specific jobs, making the experience as educational and realistic as possible. Each activity lasts around 20 minutes, during which children practice a unique career of their choosing, making it a memorable lifelong experience.

Two pupils at KidZania London learn how to present the weather forecast.

School children can even have a go at presenting the weather forecast.

  • Practice what they have learnt in the classroom hands-on During a trip to KidZania, students can practise what they have learnt inside the classroom: from reading their presenters’ script to writing their own article and working on their language literacy, or counting their kidZos and working on their mathematical fluency and reasoning.
  • Feed children’s natural curiosity to explore opportunities and widen their horizons KidZania nurtures children’s natural instincts to discover and inspires them to broaden their horizons by removing socio-economic barriers. Children can explore many jobs they may never have heard of and start dreaming of becoming pilots, doctors, or energy scientists and more!

School group prices are between £12 to £15, plus there’s a free teacher ratio. Opening dates can be found here .

My school trip essay

School trips leave a great impact in the mind of the student, where he goes without his family, with his friends and colleagues, which allow him to rely on himself and take responsibility and enjoy the activities of the trip.

Each school planning for trips is as a recreational and educational way, supervised by social workers and school supervisors, who planning visits, ticketing, bus booking, etc.

I went on a school trip to (name of the city) of (Governorate name). of (city area in km) and (population number) approximately.

I prepared my small bag and put sandwiches, juice and water for the trip. I went to sleep early to wake up early to be full of energy on the journey.

We rode the bus in front of the school in the early morning and we left our parents and friends who did not come with us.

The bus driver displayed a documentary about the city we were going to visit and the tour supervisor told us about the directions and instructions we should follow and how to act in case of lost. He provided us emergency numbers and asked us to write them in a paper and keep in our pocket.

We arrived at our destination and started visiting the (museum name) which is a large museum featuring many important items that tell us the history of the city.

Then we went to visit the open museum which is an open area with many beautiful items.

Then we went to visit the important landmarks of the city.

The last stop of the trip was to visit the amusement park, a recreational city with lots of games.

The supervisor gave us two hours to enjoy our time, play the games we want and assemble before the door of the amusement park in preparation for riding the bus and back to our city.

We gathered two hours later in front of the amusement park door, the supervisor checked everyone’s presence and then we boarded the bus and returned to our city.

It was a beautiful day we enjoyed it a lot and we saw many of the city’s famous sights.

We learned a lot about its history and the history of its inhabitants.

Finally, we reached our city late at night. Our families were waiting for us.

We thanked the tour supervisor and went to our homes to sleep and prepare for school the next day.

a memorable school trip essay

It’s great to enjoy a little bit away from school and home for rejuvenation and energy, and this is exactly what happened. After working hard and excelling in school, I was able to go out on an unforgettable school trip. Through this trip, I was able to define my goals and benefit greatly from them.

This was an excursion to one of the seminars of the great Steve Jones. Just being in the midst of this huge crowd of scientists, inventors and businessmen made me know what I want to become in the future, and what are my upcoming priorities.

On this journey I was able to find answers to many of my questions and found the inspiration I wanted. Now I want to become in the future an inventor of something useful that benefits humanity and achieve great success for me, whether material or moral, through fame.

It is wonderful to know the importance of technology to society and how we inevitably go to it and the development of all means of services around us. And with just a little bit of clinging to the dream and fighting for it like Steve did, I can certainly succeed too.

simple essay on school trip

I feel very happy to go on a trip to the football stadium. This was a big surprise for us, to be able to watch an important match with friends.

Of course, I watched many matches with my family before, but this time the experience is different because it is with my friends and I was able to express and launch my enthusiasm, without feeling any pressure.

I enjoy this experience so much, and for sure I want to repeat this experience in other activities. Now I can’t wait to go home and tell my brother about this experience, and that in the future he should try going out with his friends on school trips and enjoying this holiday. It gives great psychological comfort and a boost of activity that helps to return to study with full vitality and activity.

essay on school trip to a park

Oh my gosh, I can’t describe the beauty of nature that I enjoyed during my last school trip. There is a very big difference between the constant presence between the big and fast industrial life and the relaxation in the vast gardens and parks that do not contain any noise.

It is great to go through this experience and go to one of the most beautiful parks that contain very beautiful gardening works and organized views of trees and roses.

The wonderful engineering work that I saw in the park is one of the best landscapes that my friends and I enjoyed watching.

And certainly immediately we felt the amount of interest and love from the people responsible for this place, and how they can preserve and show this place this beauty.

Of course I would love to go back on a school trip to the park and enjoy physical games with my friends like we did. This was one of the things I enjoyed in nature. It is great to find large green areas. This helped me relax a lot.

school tour experience essay

I would very much like to write an article about my experience in the last school tour, and point out the things I liked the most.

I find this tour very different from many of our previous tours. Previously, the tour was in only one place, and curiosity and enthusiasm ended before the tour ended.

But certainly this was different when we were able to visit many places in the same tour, such as the museum, the garden and the library. All of these places had a different effect.

We find when visiting the museum and meeting one of the guides working in the museum that he has that interesting and funny way of explaining the holdings. It makes you want to know more about its origin and the civilization it comes from.

But due to the lack of time, this made me even more excited, eager to listen. I am also eager to see another place and enjoy. This made it more beautiful and did not leave any way for boredom.

When visiting the library, I was able to sign one of the famous books and see some of the authors of these books. I always watched this event through movies only. It is great to try this experience and get some interesting and useful books.

But certainly nothing is so wonderful after a long day of listening and paying attention as visiting the park and walking around it to release all that energy.

I cannot describe the beauty of how I felt in the experience of the games and activities that we did inside the park. I can say this was the best school trip experience I’ve ever had.

a school field trip essay in English

One of the great school field trips I enjoyed was this trip, this weekend we were able to go on a school field trip to the zoo.

And there were a lot of interesting animals that wanted to feed and take pictures, many pictures with them. But of course, every field trip cannot pass without new experiences, some of which you will benefit from and others that delight you.

I can’t stop laughing whenever I remembered the monkeys, and how they used to behave, I can’t believe how smart this animal is, and how it can make you happy at any time. And also watching the peacock, what a beauty!, I did not feel the consistency and beauty of the colors, as I saw in this bird.

It was wonderful to learn some information about the habitat of many animals, which made me very eager to read about them, how they live and how important the group is to them, and how to unite among them, such as the blue whale and other collective animals that live in groups and like the wolf as well.

Certainly this field trip was very wonderful and contained a lot of information that I benefited from.

In this way we have given you  My school trip essay, and you can read more through the following section:

Essay on My School Picnic – Essay 1 (200 words)

Essay on School Picnic to Water Park – Essay 2 (300 words)

Introduction

Essay on School Picnic to Amusement Park – Essay 3 (400 words)

Essay on School Picnic to Zoo – Essay 4 (500 words)

Essay on School Picnic to Kidzania – Essay 5 (600 words)

EVERYTHING TEACHERS NEED TO KNOW TO AHEAD OF BOOKING A SCHOOL TRIP TO KIDZANIA FOR 2019/20

  • KidZania London announces its action packed 2019/20 programme for schools
  • Over 60 real life activities and careers for children to choose from, in partnership with real life brands including British Airways, Global Radio and Metro newspaper
  • Special events include STEM month, Parliament Week and Careers Fairs

KidZania London – the indoor city run by kids at Westfield London, Shepherd’s Bush – has announced its action packed 2019/20 programme, including a series of special events for schools.

The destination empowers children aged four – 14 to explore their imagination and interests with real-life activities and careers to choose from. These range from learning about aviation and what it takes to be a pilot in the British Airways Aviation Academy, to learning about animal wellbeing with the professionals at PDSA.

While offering a space to play and explore, each career applies to the national curriculum and teaches soft skills essential in a pupil’s development – from autonomy, teamwork and creativity. So teachers can be rest assured that while being a fun school trip, the activities enhance and reflect subjects taught in the classroom.

Victoria Gregory, General Manager at KidZania London, comments:  “A recent study by the UCL Institute of Education showed that school playtime is becoming a thing of the past for a generation of children. Sadly lessons are increasingly eating into lunch and playtime, with pressures to cover off the national curriculum. At KidZania, we provide a space where kids can independently play and explore while learning. We’re passionate about providing the balance – where kids feel like they’re getting much needed playtime within a fun, immersive experience – while providing an educational programme that really enhances their personal and social development.”

To bring the activities to life, KidZania runs a series of educational events across the year to enhance the learning experience.

Throughout June 2019

With a mission to get pupils excited about STEM careers, KidZania is hosting a month-long festival that will encourage pupils to take part in STEM focused activities, giving them first-hand experience of jobs within this field. Activities include the Shell Forecourt and Energy Lab, where young scientists will learn about why we need cleaner energy and how to develop fuels for the future.

Students can apply their creativity and curiosity at the new  ‘Coding 101’ degree  in the KidZania University, in partnership with  Children’s Intelligence Agency  – an app created by award-winning Bright Little Labs (named ‘Top Coding Toy for Kids’ by the Evening Standard in 2018 and the Independent in 2017, plus EDF Stem Pulse Award winner in 2017), which complements the UK’s KS1 & KS2 Computing Curriculum.

Worksheet trails in Science and Maths will be available to collect from the KidZania National Library, where pupils can visit various activities around the city to answer questions and solve mathematical equations.

Parliament Week ( 5th – 7th November 2019)

As part of UK Parliament Week, KidZania’s popular event will return to the city with a programme of events and activities about parliamentary democracy in the UK. KidZania’s theatre will once again become the ‘House of Commons’, asking pupils to challenge and debate two motions based on anti-bullying and environmental issues. As part of the event, KidZania is partnering with  WWE and NSPCC  to raise awareness of  Anti-Bullying Week , focussing on cyber bullying. There will be a workshop on how to debate, a Politics degree requiring pupils to budget for KidZania Government’s departments, and a voting booth so that pupils can have their say.

Careers Fair ( 21st – 23rd January 2020 and  3rd – 5th March 2020)

KidZania will be raising career aspirations and challenging career stereotypes with two events focussed on careers. New for 2020, the January workshop will run specifically for secondary schools, geared towards building employability skills ahead of going into the world of work.

Workshops include  CV writing,  where pupils will be encouraged to develop their CV in class before their visit to KidZania and build on this as they undertake work experience around the KidZania city. Students will also have the opportunity to check-in to the  interview workshop . The aim of the sessions are to give students the opportunity to build their presentation skills and confidence, to enable them to have the best chance in achieving jobs they’d like to do in the future, irrespective of background.

KidZania’s March event, available to both primary and secondary schools, will coincide with  National Careers Week and  International Women’s Day , with more exciting careers-related activities and partnerships to be announced soon.

Science Week ( 10th – 12th March 2020)

In accordance with  British Science Week , KidZania will be bringing Science Week back for another year. Pupils will be encouraged to discover a range of careers that rely on Science, enabling them to utilise the subject learning in class to real-life jobs.

A school trip is an exciting event for students. It’s a chance to learn new things outside the classroom. It’s also a fun way to bond with classmates.

On a school trip, we can see and experience things firsthand. For instance, a visit to a museum can make history come alive.

250 Words Essay on School Trip

The essence of school trips.

School trips are an integral part of educational life, offering a unique blend of learning and recreation. They provide a platform for students to interact outside the confines of their classrooms, fostering a holistic development that extends beyond academic excellence.

Academic Impact

School trips are not just recreational jaunts; they are tailored to complement the curriculum. Visiting museums, science centers, or historical monuments, students can vividly understand and internalize concepts that may seem abstract in textbooks. This experiential learning aids in the retention of knowledge and cultivates a love for learning.

Social Development

School trips also stimulate social growth. Students interact with peers and teachers in a casual setting, promoting bonding and camaraderie. They learn to respect diversity, adapt to new environments, and develop leadership qualities. These experiences are vital in shaping their social skills and emotional intelligence.

Personal Growth

On school trips, students step out of their comfort zones, facing challenges that require problem-solving and decision-making skills. These experiences foster independence and resilience, which are crucial life skills.

In conclusion, school trips are much more than a break from routine. They are a pedagogical tool that enhances academic learning, social development, and personal growth. They offer students a broader perspective of the world, preparing them not just for exams, but for life. As education evolves, the importance of these trips should be recognized and leveraged to provide a well-rounded learning experience.

500 Words Essay on School Trip

School trips, also known as educational tours, are a crucial part of the educational curriculum, offering a practical approach to learning that extends beyond the traditional classroom setting. They provide students with a unique opportunity to explore new environments, engage in hands-on learning, and gain exposure to different cultures and lifestyles.

Experiential Learning

One of the primary benefits of school trips is the experiential learning they offer. These trips allow students to interact with the real world, applying the theoretical knowledge they have acquired in the classroom. For instance, a visit to a historical monument brings history lessons to life, while a trip to a science museum can make complex scientific concepts more understandable. Thus, school trips foster a deeper understanding of subjects, making learning more interesting and effective.

Broadening Horizons

School trips also serve to broaden students’ horizons. They expose students to different environments, cultures, and ways of life, thereby promoting a sense of appreciation and understanding for diversity. This exposure can help students develop a more global perspective, encouraging them to think critically about various social, cultural, and environmental issues.

Developing Social Skills

Another significant aspect of school trips is the development of social skills. Students get the chance to interact with their peers outside the formal classroom setting, fostering camaraderie and teamwork. They learn to negotiate, collaborate, and resolve conflicts, skills that are essential for their personal and professional lives.

Boosting Independence

School trips also play a crucial role in fostering independence among students. Away from the comfort of their homes and regular routines, students learn to manage themselves, make decisions, and take responsibility for their actions. This newfound independence can boost their confidence and self-esteem, preparing them for future challenges.

The Challenges of School Trips

While school trips have numerous benefits, they also present certain challenges. Organizing such trips requires meticulous planning and coordination. Ensuring the safety and well-being of all students is paramount, which can be a daunting task for the school authorities. Moreover, the cost of these trips can be a burden for some families, making it crucial for schools to explore cost-effective options.

In conclusion, school trips are an essential part of the educational experience, offering a myriad of benefits. They provide a platform for experiential learning, broaden students’ horizons, develop social skills, and foster independence. Despite the challenges they present, the value they add to a student’s overall development makes them an indispensable part of the educational journey.

A day out at KidZania Noida | Best of interactive theme parks for Delhi NCR kids

school trip to kidzania essay

Come weekends, parents in Delhi NCR search frantically for places well-suited for a day out with family. Isn’t it? During one such weekend, we faced the same dilemma and zeroed in on KidZania Noida.

Kidzania Noida could be your best bet if looking for a non-gaming zone and indoor family entertainment centre in Delhi NCR to spend the day with your kids.

Since our very first visit to KidZania, we have frequented this indoor recreation and learning centre for kids, quite a few times over the years, as we’ve always found it safe, secure, and worth the time. Above all, KidZania Noida’s indoor theme park concept for kids is a winner, especially during summers, as most of the Delhi NCR amusement and theme parks are located outdoors.

Come with me as I take you on a virtual tour of KidZania Noida, and let us explore this one-of-a-kind indoor recreation facility in Delhi NCR. You might also want to consider this write-up and tour, as my honest review of KidZania Noida, as I share the pros and cons of visiting this place.

A guide to planning a visit to KidZania Noida

‘As parents do we ever get holidays?’ Well, we definitely can’t afford an exclusive vacation or holiday sans parenting. Could we? Because, Sunday or Monday, parenting goes hand in gloves with our daily routine.

However, our trip to KidZania Noida did prove to be a blessing, where we were able to spend some time ‘off parenting’. Wondering how? Well, read on…but before that let me answer a few oft-posed questions about the whys and hows of planning a visit to KidZania Noida.

What is KidZania?

KidZania is an indoor recreation and learning centre aka theme park for kids from ages 6-15 years. The indoors of KidZania Noida apart from the KidZania ventures around the world are more or less built and designed along the lines of a model city, with paved roads, workstations, and other facilities, apart from a functioning economy, with its own currency.

Where is KidZania located in Delhi NCR?

KidZania is located in the Entertainment city of Noida. The entrance to KidZania Noida is designed on the lines of an airport. Catchy and apt for kids!

image

Where and how to book KidZania Noida tickets?

Upon entry into the KidZania Noida premises, we were welcomed by the staff and ushered towards the ticket counters, in order to collect our boarding passes. Basically, the entry tickets are sold here and printed in the form of an airlines’ boarding pass keeping with the theme of KidZania.

It had cost Rs.2500/- for the three of us. However, the rates vary according to the days, shifts, etc.,

Alternatively, tickets could be booked online in advance. Do visit Kidzania’s official website http://delhincr.kidzania.com/en-in for further information.

Security arrangements at KidZania Noida

Along with entry(boarding) passes we were given Wristwatch shaped bands, into which (our) visitors’ information is fed. This information helps to track movements of visitors, the association of points, the amount spent and saved, etc.,

Basically, each child’s watch is linked to the parents’ tag, and children cannot check out if there is no matching adult tag to go with. This takes care of security issues.

Know about KidZo – The KidZania notes

KidZania is a country modelled as a full-fledged city for kids with well-designed, colourful and self-sustainable activities. It has got its own newspaper too for which your child can become a reporter as part of the role-play.

Since KidZania models itself around an independent country, it has got its own currency called ‘KidZo’, its own heroes and symbols.

The kids visiting KidZania are given 50 KidZo currency notes to spend at the beginning.

image

Kickstarting the tour inside KidZania Noida

Now that I have answered some of the oft-asked queries, let us have a look at the interiors of the KidZania Noida country as well as get to know the various activities for kids.

Where to start the KidZania tour from?

As you enter the KidZania zone, onto your left would be the ‘Information Centre’ from where you can collect a map of the ‘Kidzania’ country. A map makes it easier to navigate through this place.

Ironically, we accidentally discovered the availability of maps at the information centre much later in the day, during our trip to KidZania Noida.

I wish the authorities had given us some guidance while giving us the boarding passes at the ticket counters of Kidzania Noida. Sigh!

image

Should we only transact with currency in hand?

No, instead of carrying the KidZos around, the best option for a kid would be to get a Debit card at the ‘Yes Bank’ inside the country. Now a child can freely roam around, work and do the role-plays to earn their salary in the form of KidZos and spend them on indulging in the activities all the while using his/her card.

There are even ATMs for kids to churn out KidZos and check their balance at any point in time. Also, since it’s humanly impossible to indulge in all the activities and role-play just in one-day (as we realized half-way through) I suggest you opt for the ‘Citizen Pazzport’ by paying a nominal amount that comes with its own perks.

Do visit Kidzania’s official website to know more about this or approach the Pazzport office inside the KidZania Noida country, located on the first-floor.

school trip to kidzania essay

Get to know the available Kidzania activities

The KidZania Noida facility boasts of around 80+ activities for kids. Some of the activities help kids to earn KidZos while others make them spend. I found this, an interactive and educative method to teach responsible money handling to kids.

For example, there are Pizza and Doughnut outlets where children can work, learn to make pizzas/doughnuts and eat them too. Kidzania is associated with Camlin, Kellogs, Shiamak Dance Academy, and many other prominent brands to facilitate this endeavor.

image

Can parents participate in KidZania activities?

Since all the activities at KidZania Noida are for kids, parents and adults are not allowed inside workplaces. However, parents are allowed to sit and watch kids perform in the auditorium though!

Do read the information boards outside every workplace that reads out the appropriate age of the activity, number of children involved at a time, the duration of every activity and the amount of KidZos to be shelled out/earned through a KidZania activity.

image

What options do the parents have at KidZania?

Well, parents may stand outside the workplaces while watching their kids perform a role-play or activity, enjoy themselves and keep an eye on their kids, as cameras are installed. Huge screens then relay the happenings, even while the kids are inside underground tunnels performing activities. So fret not!

If you want to let the kids enjoy themselves, then no issues — there is ample seating available inside the KidZania country to sit while the kids indulge in activities. Else, loiter around like I did, capturing the beautiful interiors of the Kidzania country while keeping an eye on my kiddo.

KidZania Noida also provides a lounge for parents. This lounge is stocked with a pool-table, sofa-sets to relax, indoor games and magazines.

You may also want to procure the wifi password of KidZania Noida, by showing an ID proof here. However on the day of our visit to KidZania, the Wifi could not be enabled on either of my devices, and the person in charge was clueless about how to make it work!

image

So what’s in store at KidZania Noida?

Take a look at some of the workplaces for the kids. It is indeed a miniature country with beautiful buildings, a clock tower, a police station with a small jail, a fire-station and it has even got its own petrol bunk.

The kids can learn dance steps at the Shiamak Academy and then perform at the auditorium as a group. Parents are allowed to watch their kids perform as part of the audience, as I already mentioned in this post earlier.

The KidZania country also boasts of its own hospital with a fully functional ambulance!

image

Are there food stalls inside KidZania Noida?

Yes, there are eating joints where families can indulge in lunch or snacks.

The rates of food items aren’t exorbitant as I expected it to be. For once my son was super-excited to share his Pizza with us which he himself prepared at the Domino’s Workplace.

Practical information for planning a visit to KidZania

Now that I have taken you on a virtual tour across the country of KidZania Noida, let me share some practical information that could help you in planning your next visit to this educative and entertaining theme park of Delhi NCR.

How to reach KidZania Noida by Delhi metro?

We reached KidZania Noida by the Blue Line of Delhi Metro from Dwarka, by getting down at Noida Sector-18 metro station.

KidZania is located at a walkable distance from the metro station, however, we opted for a rickshaw as my son wanted to take a ride in it. The rickshaw wallah charged us Rs40 for this ride, quite reasonable considering we were two adults and one child. One should get down at Gate-11 of the Entertainment City to make a quick entry into Kidzania.

How to reach KidZania from other parts of Delhi?

Timings of KidZania Noida

The timings of ‘Kidzania’ can be verified from their official site.

On the day we went, it was open from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM and we had to literally beg the kiddo to stop patrolling the country as he was performing his duty of a Police Man!

Parting words on KidZania Noida

KidZania activities are designed around an educative methodology, to teach children the importance of ‘dignity of labour’, ‘value of money’, the compulsion and importance of ‘savings’ and ‘time management’, apart from the advantages of being pro-active. All this in a fun-filled way sans ‘gaming gadgets’.

At KidZania, children get to learn things practically rather than theoretically. Also, as a parent, I learnt to give the responsibility of ‘money management’ to my child and taught him to ‘keep going’ without ‘losing hope’.

My only rue is KidZania’s worldwide model has been replicated as it is in India. I wish the architecture of some of the buildings inside this miniature country was of Indian designs. It would have proved to be another way to create awareness among the kids!

Overall, it was a wonderful family outing after a long long time for us at KidZania Noida, and we were drained out of energy by the time we reached home.

I sincerely hope that you enjoyed taking a virtual tour of KidZania through my lens and write-up.

I would be more than happy to guide the readers in case of queries pertaining to KidZania Noida. Feel free to ask questions or share your experiences with me here in the comments section, in case you have already paid a visit to this wonderful country 🙂

My kiddo actually visited there as a trip by the school but she was around 6-7 at that time and now she is 13, she is literally forcing me to take her there as she doesn’t remember anything now. Even though its a wonderful place I kinda have a doubt, she is currently telling me that there is a pool or something like a water ride so i wanted to ask if there really is?

That’s a very good concept by kidzania, learning by doing.. And thanx to you by explaining as deeply as possible by you 🙂

Thank you…Glad you liked the write up ! 🙂

wish I could be a kid again

This is so cool! I think I’m jealous of the kids. Sigh..adulting is difficult. 😀

Ha-ha…exactly my thoughts..but we can be partakers in their fruits of labour ..read….pizza,doughnuts !!?

It’s Mexican Awesome write up.

Yup…..concept started in Mexico…now it’s replicated worldwide! TY

That’s excellent.

KidZania’s slogan is: Raho Curious, Bano Hoshiyaar It is apt. You learn more with practically doing things and being curious instead of learning to do them. This theme park walks its talk 🙂

Good writeup Meenakshi 🙂 You cant do justice to it without visiting it once. I hope to take entire family kiddo paltan once there. How I will manage that, I am still clueless of it. 😉

Thank you so much for dropping by…You should indeed take them and you can actually manage easily with a group of kids. The staff is quite helpful 🙂 Hope to read your post on Mumbai KidZania soon 😀
