IGNOU assignment status or marks have been uploaded with the TEE Result for the June 2023 session. Therefore, it is requested that the student keep a check on the official website. If you have already submitted the assignment then doesn’t need to worry about the same.

IGNOU Assignment Submission Deadline 2023

One must note that any assignment for the June TEE 2023 session or December TEE 2023 must be handed personally or digitally to the appointed regional centre. As of now, the current deadline for submitting the June TEE assignment has passed, which was on May 15, 2023. As per the official information, candidates need to submit the assignment before 30 September 2023. After this date, no assignment will be accepted.

It is advised that all candidates will have to submit their projects either online via email, Google Links or offline in in-person at their respective Regional Centres. In order to submit their assignments, the university has given students the following instructions, which must be followed.

• All assignments must be handwritten.
• Each assignment should start with the student’s name, enrollment number, study centre code, course code, email address and phone number. 
• The student will have to sign each sheet before scanning them.
• All scanned coursework must be in PDF format. 
• The scanned file should be clear and can be scanned either by a cam scanner or mobile phone.
• At the time of sending MEG1 assignments, the file name should include the enrollment and course numbers, like 2564879528 MEG1.

For the IGNOU assignment to get updated and uploaded, a total of 40 days is required after the submission to the concerned study or regional centre.

The IGNOU assessment for the June TEE 2023 session can be submitted by going to the concerned regional centre or online. Those who successfully submit their assignment will be eligible to appear for the End-Term Examination. 

The last date to submit the assignment for 2023 is 30 September 2023.

Students also have the option to submit their assignments through email, but this option is not available for all assignments. It depends on the faculty and how they want their assignments. Hence, one must make sure that submitting IGNOU assignments through email is an option and that they have the correct email ID.

Below are the points to remember before submitting IGNOU assignment online. Students must follow all the points to avoid rejection of their assignment.

• IGNOU only accepts handwritten assignments; no typed assignments are allowed.
• The document should be in the form of a PDF.
• The scanned document should be clearly visible, avoiding submitting blurry images. If students submit blurred PDF files, they might lose marks.
• The maximum size of the document should not exceed 100 MB.
• The file should be saved under your name.

How Many Times Can You Submit IGNOU Assignments in a Year? 

There are two systems of programs at IGNOU: semester and year. If you are taking exams twice a year, like for courses like BCA, MCA, MBA, B.Com, and M.Co, then you are in a semester program. On the other hand, if you appear in exams only once a year, then you are in an annual program. So, if your course is annual, you must submit assignments once a year, and if your program is semester-based, you must submit assignments twice a year. You must log into your admissions portal to know if your program is full-year or half-year. 

IGNOU will always mention the deadline by which sstudents should submit their assignments. In general, the deadline is April for the June session and October for the December TEE. Students should check the IGNOU website for the latest information on assignment submission deadlines.

The following are the criteria on which assignments are evaluated by the faculties. Students must follow all the criteria to achieve high marks in the assignments submitted online or offline.

Ms. Deeksha you have passed in 2 exams in which you have scored “D” and assignment is “A” so, both marks calculated is more than or equal to “C” grade So, you have passed in 2 subject as per Ignou guidelines. But 1 subject marks “E” grade is fail and you need to give re-exam for passed that’s subject.

I have scored D in theory exam of 2 subjects and E in one subject however, the assignment’s grade is A for all the subjects. Does that mean I have failed in the 3 exams??

Yes, Grade C in theory is mandatory to pass. Minimum passing grade has been changed to C.

• 20th to 37th Convocation of the University were held, as per the following details:-
• The certificates of eligible students of Master Degree, Bachelor Degree, Post Graduate Diploma and Diploma Programmes have been forwarded to their Regional Centre/Regional Centre opted by the students for issuing to them.
• The certificates of Post Graduate Certificate and Certificate Programme are available with the Headquarters.
• However, the students who have not received the Degree/Diploma/ Certificate may know the Regional Centre/Headquarters where their Certificate was sent/available and apply online to receive the same, if not received, so far.
• The certificates of the students who have already registered online for this purpose will be issued shortly by the Regional Centre/Headquarters, if not issued, so far.

Instructions for the Students:-

• The students who become eligible for award of Degree/Diploma/ Certificate in the 20th and 35th Convocation but have not received the Certificate/not registered, so far may apply/register for this purpose now.
• After successful registration, they can Log in and fill up the requisite details, if required and upload the necessary documents i.e. 1. IGNOU IDENTITY CARD and 2. GRADE CARD/PROVISIONAL CERTIFICATE in jpg/jpeg format having file size up to 100kb
• Eligible students are also required to pay the requisite fee Online for this purpose, as per the details below:
• Rs. 200/- for PG Certificate/ Certificate programmes for the students who have completed their Certificate programme in the 34th to 37th Convocation.
• No fee for PG Certificate/ Certificate programmes for the students who have completed their Certificate programme in the 20th to 33rd Convocation.
• The requisite fee can be paid online through the following modes:
• Debit/ Credit Card (Master/Visa/Rupay) of any bank.
• Net Banking
• Students can print the acknowledgement after successful payment of the requisite fee.
• For query, if any, about the Master Degree, Bachelor Degree, Post Graduate Diploma and Diploma Programmes Certificate, the concerned Regional Centre may be contacted where the Certificate was forwarded. Example - If a candidate has scored 70 marks in the term-end examinations, the students will be awarded with the 49 marks. And, if the same student obtains 50 marks in the assignment, then he or she will be awarded 15 marks. With these two entities, one can easily calculate the total marks of the student in a particular subject.

To calculate the percentage, the student needs to divide the total marks by 1200 and multiply by 100.

Using their nine-digit enrolment number, candidates can download the IGNOU grade card 2023.

Candidates will not receive their grade cards by mail or courier.

The candidates who are not satisfied with their grades may apply for revaluation by filling out the IGNOU revaluation form and paying a fee of Rs 750. With this, they get an option to do a re-calculation of the term end examinations.
