పుస్తక సమీక్ష

పుస్తక సమీక్ష అంటే: 

      విద్యార్థి   ఏదేని పుస్తకాన్ని గానీ, దినపత్రికను గానీ, పత్రికా కథనాన్ని గానీ ఆమూలాగ్రం చదివి దాంట్లోని మంచిచెడ్డలను సంక్షిప్తంగా చర్చిస్తూ   పరిచయరూపంలో రాయడమే పుస్తక సమీక్ష.

పుస్తక సమీక్ష ఎందుకు?:

      విద్యార్థి కేవలం పాఠ్యపుస్తకాలనే చదవడం వల్ల విస్తారపఠనం పెంపొందించలేక పోతున్నాడు. పాఠ్యపుస్తకం ద్వారా పొందిన భాషా పరిజ్ఞానంతో ఇతర పుస్తకాల్ని కూడా స్వయంగా చదివి, అందులోని విషయాన్ని గ్రహించి అవసరమైనంత మేర తిరిగి వ్యక్తీకరించగలిగే నైపుణ్యాన్ని పెంపొందించేందుకుగాను ఈ పుస్తకసమీక్షను పాఠశాల స్థాయిలో ప్రవేశపెట్టడం జరిగింది.

       పాఠశాల స్థాయిలో పుస్తక సమీక్షను చేర్చడం ద్వారా మరో ప్రధాన ప్రయోజనాన్ని సాధించడం జరుగుతుంది.   పిల్లల్లో స్వీయరచన సామర్థ్యాన్ని విస్తృతపరచడంలో ఈ పుస్తకసమీక్ష ఒక ప్రధానభూమిక పోషిస్తుంది. స్వీయరచన ప్రశ్నలకు జవాబులు రాయాలంటే విద్యార్థులు పాఠంలోని అంశాన్ని గ్రహించి ప్రశ్న నిడివిని బట్టి కుదించి రాయడమో, లేదా విస్తరించి రాయడమో చేయాల్సి ఉంటుంది.

      ఈ పుస్తకసమీక్ష ద్వారా చదివిన విషయాన్ని సంక్షిప్తీకరించి ఎట్లా రాయాలో పిల్లల్లో పెంపొందించడం జరుగుతుంది. విస్తృతంగా ఉన్న అంశాన్ని క్రోడీకరించుకొని విషయాన్ని కుదించుకొని రాయడం, అవసరమైతే విషయాన్ని విస్తరించిరాయడం ఈ పుస్తకసమీక్షలు చేయడం ద్వారా నేర్చుకోగలుగుతారు.

వేటిని పుస్తక సమీక్ష చేయవచ్చు: పుస్తక సమీక్ష రోజూ అభ్యసించే పాఠ్యపుస్తకాలకు కాకుండా ఇతర ఏ పుస్తకాలకైనా చేయవచ్చు. పాఠశాల గ్రంథాలయ పుస్తకాలు, బాలసాహిత్యం పుస్తకాలు, సైన్స్, చరిత్ర, కథలు, గేయాలు, సాహిత్య గ్రంథాలే కాకుండా దిన, వార పత్రికలు, ఆదివారం అనుబంధాలు (మాగ్జిన్స్).. వేటికైనా సమీక్ష రాయవచ్చు. చివరకు ఒక పత్రికా కథనానికి కూడా సమీక్ష రాయవచ్చు.

పుస్తక సమీక్ష రాయడంలో గ్రహించాల్సిన మెలకువలు:

+ పుస్తక సమీక్ష కోసం తప్పనిసరిగా పాఠశాల గ్రంథాలయం నుండి ఏదేని పుస్తకాన్ని ఉపాధ్యాయుని ద్వారా తీసుకోవాలి.

+ అది సాధ్యం కానపుడు మీరే సొంతంగా ఏదేని పుస్తకాన్ని సమకూర్చుకోవాలి.

+ దినపత్రికల ఆదివారం అనుబంధాలైనా, ఇతర వారపత్రికలైనా, చివరకు పత్రికల్లో వచ్చిన ప్రత్యేక కథనాలు (ఆర్టికల్స్) అయినా సరే! సమీక్షకోసం ఉపయోగించవచ్చు.

+ పెద్ద పుస్తకాన్ని ఎంపిక చేసుకున్నప్పుడు సమీక్ష కోసం   మొత్తం పుస్తకాన్ని చదివాల్సిన అవసరం లేదు. నచ్చిన లేదా ఎంపిక చేసుకున్న అంశాన్ని చదివి దానికి మాత్రమే సమీక్ష రాయవచ్చు.

+ చదివిన దాన్ని ఉన్నదున్నట్టు ఎక్కించడం సమీక్ష కాదు.

+ ఏ పుస్తక సమీక్ష అయినా పేజీలకు పేజీలు రాయకుండా 3 పేజీలు మించకుండా, 1 పేజీకి తగ్గకుండా రాయాలి.  

+ నిర్దేశించిన సూచికలను అనుసరించి సమీక్ష రాయాలి.

ఈ ప్రాథమిక నియమాల్ని తప్పకుండా పాటించాలి.

రాసేవిధానం:   ప్రాథమిక సమాచారంలో అదనంగా ఏవి రాసినా పైన సూచించినవి తప్పనిసరిగా ఉండాలి. నివేదికలో చదివిన అంశాన్ని సంక్షిప్తంగా( సంక్షిప్తీకరణ) రెండు మూడు పేరాల్లో రాయాలి. అభిప్రాయంలో తప్పనిసరిగా విద్యార్థి చదివినదానిపై తన సొంత అభిప్రాయం రాయాలి. బాగుందా,బాగాలేదా.. ఎక్కడ బాగుంది, లోపాలేంటి, ఎట్లా ఉంటే బాగుండేది, పుస్తకం ధర, ముఖచిత్రం, ప్రింటు   తదితర వివరాలన్నిటిపైనా విద్యార్థి తన అభిప్రాయాన్ని చెప్పొచ్చు. అభిప్రాయం ఎంత విస్తరిస్తే.. విద్యార్థిలో అంతగా స్వీయ వ్యక్తీకరణ నైపుణ్యం విస్తరిస్తున్నట్లుగా భావిస్తాం. ఇక ముగింపు విషయానికొస్తే చివరలో పుస్తకం ఎక్కడ లభ్యమవుతుంది, ఇతరులు చదవదగిందేనా వంటి ముక్తాయింపుతో ముగించాల్సి ఉంటుంది.

మార్కులు కేటాయింపు:

5 మార్కులకు నిర్దేశించిన పుస్తక సమీక్షలో .. ప్రాథమిక సమాచారానికి 1 మార్కు, నివేదికకు 2 మార్కులు, అభిప్రాయానికి 2 మార్కులు చొప్పున కేటాయించబడతాయి.

పుస్తక సమీక్ష- నమూనా:

     నవ్వుతున్న నేలతల్లి అనే కథల సంపుటికి మానస అనే 9వ తరగతి విద్యార్థిని రాసిన సమీక్ష మాదిరిగా ఇక్కడ పొందుపరుస్తున్నాం.

I. ప్రాథమిక సమాచారం:   

i) పుస్తకం పేరు:     నవ్వుతున్న నేలతల్లి (కథాసంపుటి)

ii) రచయిత/ప్రచురణ:    కటుకోజ్వల మనోహరాచారి

iii) సమీక్షకుడు:      ఎన్. మానస                               

iv) తరగతి:          9వ

నేను మా పాఠశాల గ్రంథాలయం నుండి నవ్వుతున్న నేలతల్లి అనే పుస్తకాన్ని తీసుకుంటిని. ఇది ఒక కథల సంపుటి. దీంట్లో మొత్తం 12 కథలు ఉన్నాయి. అందులో నేను 3 కథలు మాత్రమే చదివాను. అవి కాకిగోల, పల్లెతల్లి ఒడిలో, కర్మసౌందర్యం కథలు.

    కాకిగోల కథను కాకే స్వగతంలా చెబుతుంది. ప్రకృతిలో మనుషులు నిర్ధాక్షిణ్యంగా చెట్లను కొట్టివేస్తున్నారని, తమస్వార్థ ప్రయోజనాల కోసం అడవుల్ని అక్రమంగా నరికడం వల్ల పశుపక్షాదులు తీవ్రంగా ఇబ్బంది పడుతున్నా యని రచయిత ఈ కథ ద్వారా చెప్పాడు. ఊరి మధ్యలో ఉన్న వటవృక్షాన్ని యజమాని నేలకూలుస్తుంటే ఆ చెట్టుపైనున్న పక్షులన్నీ ఎగిరిపోయి కకావికలమవుతాయి. ఒక కాకి మాత్రం కొట్టకురా.. మమ్మల్ని గూడులేని అనాథల్ని చేయకురా అని వాపోతుంది. ఈ లోపు అదే చెట్టు కూలి యజమాని చనిపోతాడు. దహన క్రియలు అయ్యాక కుటుంబీకులు ఊరిబయట అతనికి పిండం పెట్టి కాకిని పిలుస్తారు. అక్కడ ఒక్క పక్షీ ఉండదు. ఇందాకటి కాకి మాత్రమే దూరంనుండి చూస్తుంది. చివరకు అది కూడా పిండం ముట్టకుండా దూరంగా ఎగిరిపోతుంది.

       ఇక పల్లెతల్లి ఒడిలో కథలో భాను కుటుంబం సంక్రాంతి సెలవులకు పట్నం నుండి వాళ్ల సొంతూరైన పల్లెటూరుకు బయలుదేరుతూ మహా అసంతృప్తికి   లోనవుతారు. వెళ్లాక అక్కడి పరిసరాలు, పంటపొలాలు, బావులు, చెట్లు, అక్కడి మనుషులకు ఆకర్శితులవుతారు. వారం తర్వాత తిరిగి పట్నం బయలుదేరుతూ పల్లెను విడవలేక అంతే బాధపడుతుంటారు. ఇదీ కథ.

      కర్మసౌందర్యం కథలో కథకుడు తనకు చాలా భూమి ఉందని ఏ పనీ చెయ్యాల్సిన అవసరం లేదని తను హాయిగా ఉన్నట్టుగా భావిస్తుంటాడు. తన మిత్రుడు మణిచంద్ర కష్టపడి పనిచేసుకుంటుంటే జాలిపడుతుంటాడు. తర్వాత మణిచంద్ర కోట్ల ఆస్తిపరుడైన రాంచదర్రావు కొడుకని తెలిసి ఆశ్చర్యపోతాడు. అయితే టీవీలో రాంచందర్ రావు ఇంటర్యూ చూసి ఈ భూమ్మీద టాటా, బీర్లాలు, రిలయన్స్ అంబానీల కొడుకులైనా ఏదోఒక పనిచేయాలి తప్ప ఖాలీగా ఉండరాదన్న విషయాన్ని గ్రహిస్తాడు.

     ఇవికాక ఈ పుస్తకంలో ఇంకా దూరపుకొండలు, కన్నీటి కార్ఖానా, ముదురు, నవ్వుతున్న నా నేలతల్లి, ఓటరు నాడి, క్రికెటాయనమ: వంటి కథలు కూడా ఉన్నాయి.

III. అభిప్రాయం:   నవ్వుతున్న నేలతల్లి పుస్తకంలోని కథలు నాకు చాలా బాగా నచ్చాయి. కథల పేర్లు చూస్తేనే చదవాలని పించేలా ఉన్నాయి. కాకిగోల కథలో కాకి తన బాధ వెలగక్కడం వింతగా అనిపించింది. చెట్లు పక్షులు అంతరించిపోతున్నాయనే   రచయిత బాధ కాకి ద్వారా చాలాబాగా చెప్పారు. కాకి మనిషి పిండాన్ని ముట్టకుండా వెళ్లడమనే ముగింపు చక్కగా ఉంది.

      పల్లెతల్లి ఒడిలో కథ చదువుతుంటే అసలు జీవితమంతా పల్లెల్లోనే ఉండిపోవాలనే కోరిక కలుగుతుంది. ప్రకృతిని, పల్లెవాతావరణాన్ని కళ్లకు కట్టినట్లుగా చూపారు ఈ కథలో.

     కర్మసౌందర్యం కథలో పుట్టిన ప్రతివ్యక్తీ ఏదో ఒక పనిచేయాలనే సందేశం చాలా బాగుంది. మణిచంద్ర పాత్ర ఈ కథలో నాకు బాగా నచ్చింది. భగవద్గీత శ్లోకంతో కథను ముగించడం కూడా కథకు తగినట్లుగా ఉంది. పనిచేయకుండా అవారాగా తిరిగే జనానికి ఈ కథ మంచి కనువిప్పు కలిగిస్తుంది.

       పుస్తకం మీది ముఖచిత్రం అద్భుతంగా ఉంది. వెనకపేజీగానీ, ప్రింటింగ్ గానీ నీట్గా ఉన్నాయి. ధరకూడా 80/- రూపాయలే ఉండడం వల్ల పాఠకులు కొనుక్కొని చదవచ్చు. ఇంతమంచి పుస్తకాన్ని అందించిన రచయితకు కృతజ్ఞతలు.

i) ముగింపు: ఈ పుస్తకం పాఠశాల గ్రంథాలయంలో ఉంది. తోటి మిత్రులంతా తీసుకొని చదవచ్చు. అందరూ ఈ కథలు చదవడంవల్ల మిత్రుల ఆలోచనల్లో చాలా మార్పువస్తుందని నమ్ముతున్నాను.
