It offers three online PhD program options as well as one Doctor of Psychology and two Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) options. Art Education (MA, PhD, Online)

The MA program in Art Education gives students the opportunity to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to be well-informed and reflective practitioners, teachers, and researchers. The program consists of a coherent pattern of courses and other educational experiences, either a research thesis or a final project, and a final oral examination.

Tuition & Funding

All admitted students into any of the Fisher PhD programs are fully funded, including a stipend and tuition costs. Funding is available for four to six years, at the discretion of each academic department.

Applicants to any of Fisher's PhD programs do not need to do anything to be considered for funding - if an applicant is admitted, s/he is funded. The funding may come in many different forms, such as fellowships, research assistantships, teaching assistantships, supplemental grants or a variety of other methods.

Funding is commonly made through teaching assistantships, Graduate Teaching Associates or research assistantships, Graduate Research Associates. These positions may involve teaching, assisting faculty in research, and/or administrative activities.

I wouldn’t be in the position I am today without University of Cincinnati Online's MS Sport Administration degree. High school athletics require crazy schedules. The professors relate because they know it from personal experience. They do a tremendous job making the online format as accessible as possible.

As a physician champion without an IT background, I realized that I wasn't prepared for the role. I enrolled in the Master of Health Informatics program. It delivered the skill sets I needed to be a health IT leader and to go on to become board certified in Clinical Informatics. I highly recommend University of Cincinnati's Master of Health Informatics program.

As a mom of four children, a flexible online education was the best choice. I chose the University of Cincinnati because it allowed me to set up my clinicals close to home. I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The faculty made time to meet with me one-on-one using Skype and I could schedule time with proctors for my tests.

When I returned to civilian life, I decided to get my master's in occupational therapy. PM 6100 Project Management I (3 credits)

This course is the first part for the project management course sequence. Students learn the skills, tools and strategies required to meet the needs of managing complex projects. The topics in the course include initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing projects as well as project integration management, scope management, time management, cost management, human resource management, communications management and risk management.

PM 6200 Project Management II (3 credits)

In this class, students learn the skills, tools, and strategies required to meet the needs of managing complex projects. The topics in the course include initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing projects as well as project integration management, scope management, time management, cost management, human resource management, communications management and risk management.

PM 6500 Change and Risk Management (3 credits)

This course is an investigation of both risk and change management as it relates to project management. The topics in the course include initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing projects. The concepts of project risk and change management are presented, and students have opportunities to develop risk and change management plans.

Herzing University offers unique pathways for current Registered Nurses (RN) to earn a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and take the first step towards becoming a WHNP.

Our MSN curriculum includes a selection of core, direct care, and specialty courses containing 100% online didactic lecture-style courses as well as clinical practicums designed to fully prepare you for success in your first job as a WHNP.

The Accelerated RN to MSN-WHNP option includes a selection of undergraduate coursework to support advancement to the graduate level later in the program. These students also have an opportunity to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) on the way to MSN-WHNP in our RN to BSN to MSN track ( RN to BSN + RN to MSN) – please contact admissions for more details.

Prerequisites to enroll in the WHNP program varies depending on the pathway you choose:

• RN to MSN-WHNP

MSN-WHNP enrollment requirements

To enroll in Herzing’s online MSN - Women's Health Nurse Practitioner program, prospective students must live in a state where Herzing University is authorized to offer the MSN-WHNP program, and:

• Hold a current, active and unrestricted license as a registered nurse (RN) in the same state in which they live. (Note: Holding a multi-state, compact state license and being a resident in a compact license state will be deemed to have met this requirement.)
• Hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited university or college with an overall minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Accelerated RN to MSN-WHNP enrollment requirements

Enrollment requirements are the same whether you choose the Accelerated RN to MSN-WHNP or RN to BSN to MSN-WHNP track. Prerequisites include:

• Live in a state where Herzing University is authorized to offer the RN to MSN program
• Hold a current, active and unrestricted license as a registered nurse (RN) in the same state in which they practice
• Hold an associate degree (ADN/ASN/AASN) in nursing from a nationally or regionally accredited college or university
• Participate in an interview to identify your goals and determine if the program is right for you
