Go to the summer festival with someone..

• Buy the Genji Beetle from TV Shopping on 7/22.

Decide whether you want to help Nanako with her homework on 8/23.

By participating in the Summer Festival on the 8/20 and 8/21 with the gang and with someone, you will be able to get the book “The Divine Way.”

If you go to the festival alone, you will only gain a normal item. Because of this, it is highly recommended to go with someone when they ask you out to the festival.

Note that Rise Kujikawa will always ask you out to the festival even if you do not have high Social Link ranks with any of the other girls.

Buy the Genji Beetle from TV Shopping on 8/22.

Be sure to buy the Genji Beetle on the TV Shopping on 8/22.

Once fishing in the sea is unlocked, you will need the Genji Beetle to catch the Sea Guardian. Try to get the Genji Beetle by buying it from TV Shopping as it is quite hard to get it via bug catching.

An event will occur on the night of 8/23 where you must decide to either help Nanako with her homework for a few days or not.

If you choose to help Nanaki, you will not be able to have free time at night for a few days, but your Social Link with Nanako and the other party members will increase.

If you do not feel the need to increase your Social Link with other characters, you can choose not to help Nanako so you can have free time instead.

Fourth Disappearance

Fourth Disappearance is the twelfth quest in the Abridged Walkthrough for Persona 4 Golden . This questline takes place over seventeen days that span across August and September .

August 15th (8/15)

Yosuke will ask you to work at Junes until the 19th. Doing so will boost your friendship with Yosuke, Teddie and Chie, but the overall Social Link ranks will not increase, nor will you be able to do anything else throughout the days. The game asks if you want to or not, but you really have no choice.

Today is the summer festival with the gang, which means it'll be a story-filled day.

The summer festival will still be going on today, but the gang will be doing their own thing. One girl should ask you to go out with her that night. Do so to get The Divine Way Book . You'll need it if you want to work towards the Compulsive Reader trophy.

Two new quests will become available on this date:

Today the gang will ask to go to the beach. If you do so, your friendship will increase with all party members.

When you get home, you will have the option of doing homework with Nanako over the next few nights. Doing so will not only boost the friendship between you and Nanako, but other friends from your party will drop by from night to night. Remember, your overall Social Link ran will not increase. 8/29 evening will be the last study night with her.

You will also have your own homework that must be completed before summer break ends. It doesn't seem like it needs a certain amount of time. 8/29 should be the last day possible to do it, and always seems to say you finished it on that day. Studying will always increase knowledge.

New Books will be available at the Bookstore in the Central Shopping District .

The School Trip is between the eighth and tenth. This trip is story-filled, and will boost the friendship of your party. The Teddie / Star Social Link will also rank up.

September 15th and 16th are the days the main story takes another turn. Another person will be kidnapped! That must mean the killer is still on the loose.

Before you can find the next Dungeon, you must gather information to locate Naoto within the TV World. There are several steps you must follow to do this. Some of these steps can only be done on a specific day!

• Go to Classroom Building 1F of Yasogami High School . Speak to the girl in front of Classroom 1-1.
• Go to Practice Building 1F of Yasogami High School . Speak to the female student near the entrance.
• Go to Shopping District, North . Talk to the Police Officer on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday. He will be across the street from Konishi Liquors.
• Talk to Chie at the Samegawa Flood Plain Riverbank. She should appear only after talking to the last Police Officer.
• Return to the same Police Officer at Shopping District, North and talk to him again.
• Talk to the woman near the Shrine's entrance and the Textile Shop at Shopping District, North .
• Talk with the Police Officer at Shopping District, South on a Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday.

A short quiz of sorts will come up after collecting all the information. Answer with “he's obsessed with the case,” and “the police treat him like a kid.”

Head to Junes and enter the TV. The Secret Laboratory will now be available. Rescue Naoto before the end of October 5th.
