The IGNOU has released the guidelines that students must comply while preparing and submitting their assignments. Here are the updated guidelines:

All the assignment should be hand written.

Students must use A4 ruled paper (unless it is instructed on your TMA).

Leave 4 cm margin on left and right side of each page.

Do not use staplers, to bind the pages; you use need threads (what is typically found with cover files).

Avoid using any ink colour other than blue and black.

First you need to attach the cover page (You will find it at your study centre).

Then, attach a photocopy of your IGNOU ID card.

After that, attach a copy of your TMA (question paper on your assignment document).

Lastly, attach your hand written answers.

Leave one blank page in the end.

Do not use any files while submitting your assignments. Your assignment should only consist of the pages, tied with a thread.

You must take a submission receipt, which will be stamped by the study centre with submission dates. In case, your study centre is unable to provide you one, take a photocopy of the cover page of your assignment and get that stamped.

Note: For submission of practicals, you need to use a cover file.

Assignment submission for June 2024 session has started from 1 March 2024. Both ODL and OL Programme mode student has to submit assignment for each course code. IGNOU Exam form submission has also started and student can Apply for exam.

IGNOU assignment last date is a time frame given to the students. What is Assignment Submission Deadline in IGNOU ?

IGNOU assignment last date is also called the deadline to submit assignment at Study center. Online mode (OL) learner need to submit assignment at LMS (Learning Management System). As per University Calendar Assignment submission is done twice every year for June and December session .

As per instruction, IGNOU assignment submission last date varies from programme to programme. The due date is mentioned in the instruction page of assignment question paper.

• For TEE June Cycle / Session   : In this cycle Assignment submission starts from 1st March and ends on 31 March but in some case (like when admission for January Cycle is delayed ) the University  extends the last date for assignment submission like for TEE June 2022 session it was extended upto 20th July 2022 and
• For TEE Dec Cycle/ Session : In this cycle Assignment submission start from 1st September and ends on 30th September but in some case (like when admission for July Cycle is delayed) the University extends the last date for assignment submission.

1. For Student of Year based UG, PG, PG Diploma or Diploma programme

Any student who got admitted in Jan 2022 Admission Cycle and his/her programme is Year based (Eg : MEG, MPS, MCOM, MPA etc) such learner is supposed to submit 1st Year assignment between 1 - 30th Sep 2021 and this session is considered as TEE DEC 2022 SESSION . For any extension in submission date for that session may be checked on the website. Failing in assignment submission for TEE DEC 2022 SESSION, then leaner can submit the assignment in the next coming cycle.

2. For Student of Semester based UG, PG, Diploma, PG Diploma and Certificate programme

Any student who got admitted in Jan 2022 Admission Cycle and his/her programme is Semester based (Eg: BCA, MCA, MP, PGCCL etc) such learner is supposed to submit 1st Semester assignment between 1 - 30th March 2021 and this session is considered as TEE JUNE 2022 SESSION .For any extension in submission date for that session may be checked on the website. Failing in assignment submission for TEE JUNE 2022 SESSION, then leaner can submit the assignment in the next coming cycle.

Note : Assignment Question paper can be downloaded from University Website. Before writing assignment answers check the validity of Assignment question paper which is written on the Assignment Question paper itself. Student who could submit assignment then they need to download fresh Assignment Question paper from website.

The IGNOU Student Evaluation Division (SED) monitors and updates Term-end examinations result, assignments submisisons and extension of dates, projects, practical examinations, dissertations, viva-voce, field work, etc. and award of  degrees/ Diplomas/ certificates.

IGNOU assignment status and marks for TEE December 2023 are now uploaded with the TEE Result December 2023 so keep checking the assignment status regularly to get your marks. If you already submitted the IGNOU Assignment for the session December 2023 to your study centre or through online or offline mode then you don’t have to wait for more time. The link to check your assignment status and marks is now updated to confirm whether it gets updated online or not. The assignment status and marks for June & December 2023 are generally updated with the TEE Result for June & December 2023 respectively.

IGNOU Assignment Status Update Process & Time

After submission of assignments through any of the available methods, the assignments goes for an evaluation to the evaluator of the study centre or regional centre. Once the Evaluator has successfully evaluated your assignment then they will either upload your marks directly on the IGNOU Official Site or it will be sent to IGNOU Delhi for updating online and thereafter it can be seen by each student to get their report. You can get your Marks, Status, Grades, and Results of your Assignments from here. Generally, IGNOU Assignment marks updating and uploading within 40 days after submission to the concerned study or regional centre.

IGNOU Assignment Submission Status List 2024

The students of TEE June 2024, December 2023, June 2023, and December 2022 may check the status of their IGNOU Assignments from here. The submission of the IGNOU Assignment for session June 2024 was already over so candidates can now regularly check the status to get to know whether their marks are updated in the grade card or not. We also want to inform our students that the assignment marks for Dec 2023 session also get updated with the TEE Result Dec 2023 so students are advised to check their assignment marks by following the given procedure.

How to Check IGNOU Assignment Status, Marks & Result 2024?

Many of the students are getting confused about checking their assignment status & marks online after the submission of their assignments to the study centre which they prepared with their hard work. IGNOU Assignment Status Meaning

When you check through the IGNOU assignment status, you may come up with three different statuses accordingly. Here are the meanings of these statuses that you notice on the window:

IGNOU Assignment Result and Marks 2024

The assignment status will show you when the evaluation is done. The university will start updating your marks on the grade card as soon as the evaluation of the assignments is done. So, you must check the grade card after the assignment status says you to do so.

Step – 1 – Visit the official IGNOU portal at www.ignou.ac.in and go to Student Zone.

Step – 2 –  Search for Results and click on it.

Step – 3 – From the left panel, click on Grade Card.

Step – 4 – Provide your program, course, and enrolment number to search and get your grade card.

As you see your grade card, you can check whether the university has updated your assignment marks on it or not. If the search results are leading to an error, this means the university has not yet started updating the grade cards of the students for this semester.

What If IGNOU Assignment Status Is Not Updated?

Sometimes the update process of IGNOU Assignment status gets delayed for an unknown reason like the evaluation of assignments is delayed in the concerned study centre or maybe the regional centre has not uploaded your assignment marks online. Candidates can wait till the declaration of the result to get updates on their assignment but if you are not able to find your assignment status or marks even after the release of the TEE Result then you need to connect with centre where you submitted your assignments.

In most cases, candidates have to visit their IGNOU Study Centre and complain to the coordinator of centre to get updates regarding their pending assignment marks and status. Five Red Sox prospect takeaways: Zach Penrod, Luis Perales promoted

The Boston Red Sox continued their one step forward, one step back season.

After bouncing back with a late rally for a 2-1 win on Sunday against the Milwaukee Brewers , the Red Sox traveled to Baltimore for a Memorial Day matinee and were beat up by the Orioles , 11-3.

Also over the weekend, the Red Sox optioned reliever Zack Kelly to Triple-A Worcester and signed reliever Brad Keller , who had been designated for assignment by the Chicago White Sox . The right-hander had a 4.86 ERA in five games, including two starts, in Chicago.

Zach Penrod joins Triple-A Worcester roster

The biggest news of the past week out of Worcester was the promotion of left-hander Zach Penrod. The 26-year-old, who was in independent ball this time last year, has made a rapid rise through the Red Sox system since signing with the organization last August. There wasn’t much left for Penrod to prove in Double A, where he posted a 2.80 ERA and 37 percent strikeout rate.

Right-hander Richard Fitts bounced back from a start in which he allowed six runs in three innings. On Thursday, he allowed one run on three hits and three walks, striking out three in five innings. Fitts is the No. 17 Red Sox prospect per The Athletic ’s Keith Law .

Right-hander Bryan Mata , once a top prospect in the system who’s been derailed by injuries, was on a rehab assignment in Worcester but was recently pulled off the assignment with a lat injury. Mata, 25, is out of options and would have needed to make the Red Sox’s active roster at the end of his rehab assignment (which would have been June 11) or be designated for assignment. Now that he’s injured again, that clock stops until he begins another rehab assignment.

Though not a prospect, the Red Sox traded infielder Pablo Reyes , who’d been in Worcester, to the New York Mets for cash considerations over the weekend.

Luis Perales jumps to Double-A Portland

In Portland, there was more promotion news. The Red Sox sent right-hander Luis Perales, the No. 13 Red Sox prospect per Law, from High-A Greenville to Portland.

The 21-year-old, who was added to the 40-man roster this winter and therefore protected from the Rule 5 draft, features a fastball that tops out at 99 mph along with a splitter, cutter and changeup. In his last start at High A, Perales allowed one hit over five scoreless innings, walking two and striking out 12. In seven starts for Greenville, Perales posted a 3.42 ERA along with a 39.6 percent strikeout rate and 8.6 percent walk rate.

Perales was up to 99 tonight and featured all four of his pitches (FB, CT, CH, SL). He’s throwing more strikes with all his pitches this year and his improved cutter gives him a pitch to generate weak contact early in counts. Meanwhile, Law’s top-ranked Red Sox prospect and No. 8 in baseball Marcelo Mayer continues his hot start to the season. On Sunday, he hit his fifth homer and second of the past week. He’s now hitting .294 with an .823 OPS, five homers and 17 doubles in 42 games. He’s also lowered his strikeout rate to 21 percent from 26 percent last season.

Left fielder Matthew Lugo went 2-for-4 with a double and a triple on Sunday in Portland’s loss. He’s hitting .312 with a 1.079 OPS in 37 games.

Mikey Romero goes deep for High-A Greenville

In Greenville, left-hander Connelly Early , a 2023 fifth-rounder, picked up his first win of the season with six scoreless innings, allowing two hits and a walk while striking out six. He’s allowed two runs or fewer in six of his eight starts and has a 3.62 ERA on the season with a 29 percent strikeout rate.

Shortstop Mike Romero, a 2022 first-rounder, hit his first homer of the year this past week in a big 14-12 extra-innings win for Greenville on Wednesday. In six games, since arriving in Greenville following a season-opening stint on the injury list, Romero is 7-for-27 with a double, homer and a triple.

Second baseman/center fielder Kristian Campbell has reached base in 33 of his 34 games this season, including each of his past 30. He’s hitting .293 with a .938 OPS, seven homers and 16 extra-base hits. The 2023 fourth-rounder continues to work on a high strikeout rate, though, currently at 28.5 percent.

Miguel Bleis extends his hitting streak for Low-A Salem

In Salem, outfielder Miguel Bleis, Law’s No. 5 Red Sox prospect and No. 88 in baseball, has remained hot. The 20-year-old is riding an 11-game hitting streak and is hitting .252 with a .751 OPS and 16 steals in 38 games overall. He’s hitting .309 with a .904 OPS in May.

Middle infielder Nazzan Zanetello , the 2023 second-rounder who Law ranks No. 10 in the Red Sox system, returned this week after missing three weeks with a hamstring injury. He has yet to record a hit in three games back, but has drawn five walks while striking out six times in 15 plate appearances.

Yoeilin Cespedes is grand for the Florida Complex League Red Sox

In the Florida Complex League, shortstop Yoeilin Cespedes, an 18-year-old who was the club’s top international signee in 2023, had a big game this past week.

Cespedes, who is Law’s No. 8 Red Sox prospect this year, powered a big comeback win on Tuesday with a grand slam, his first homer of the season. He’s hitting .268 with an .828 OPS in 11 games in the Rookie-level league.
