“Introduction to Number Theory” is meant for undergraduate students to help and guide them to understand the basic concepts in Number Theory of five chapters with enumerable solved problems. Esta investigación analiza el infanticidio en clave de género en la legislación y en la praxis penal, haciendo foco en las formas que adquiere la violencia patriarcal y la honra femenina en el control social de las mujeres en la provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina, entre 1886 y 1921. La honra fue un dispositivo del poder y dominación patriarcal; a través de los debates en torno a la honra femenina se pueden observar las prácticas e ideas que operaron en la capilaridad del ejercicio del poder, reproduciendo desigualdades estructurales. El trabajo utiliza fuentes penitenciarias y judiciales de los delitos de infanticidio cometidos por mujeres, para analizar: 1) el proceso sociohistórico a través del cual se «maternaliza» el infanticidio, es decir, se delimita la figura jurídica como un delito propio de las mujeres, que derivó en la persecución unívoca de las madres solteras; 2) el control social como expresión de las violencias y desigualdades de género, ya que se ejerció con una doble moral; 3) las tensiones en torno a la honra femenina que se dan en los juicios, y que reproducen los prejuicios y mandatos sociales sobre las sexualidades femeninas y la moralidad.

Objective: 3-dimensional radiographic evaluation of the intraforaminal area are crucial to prevent complications during surgical procedures. This study aimed retrospectively to determine incidence of different shapes of the foramen, and presence of the anterior loop with aid cone beam computed tomography (CBCT). Materials and Methods: This retrospective study was performed on 176 patients whose CBCT images indicated were used. The shape and location of the mental foramen; distance between the mental foramen (MF) and mandibular incisive canal (MIC); length of the alveolar crest, basis, buccal, and lingual sides; and MIC length were evaluated based on the images. Results: The anterior loop was observed in 42.2% of patients. No significant sex dependence was found in terms of MF localization status and MF shape (P > 0.05). The mean distance of the anterior loop was 4.8±1.4 mm on the right side and 4.5±1.2 mm on the left side. The MIC was observed in all images. The mean length of MI...

Isatin(2, 3-dioxindate), a particularly effective scaffold with a variety of pharmacological actions, has been developed due to its therapeutic significance in organic and medicinal chemistry. Many researchers have been drawn to this skeleton because of its diverse biological response profile and its multiple possibilities against a variety of activities. Sandmeyer's and Stolle processes are two typical ways for synthesizing isatin derivatives. Many researchers have taken advantage of the isatin moiety by using NH at the first position, C2 and C3 carbonyl positions for the creation of numerous derivatives with varying biological activities. Design strategies for the synthesis of isatin-containing heterocyclics have been discussed in this review paper using several approaches. The chemistry, synthesis, biological and pharmacological action, SAR, and advanced uses of the isatin moiety are all covered in this paper.
