I decided to apply to a couple of MD/PhD programs, just as a shot in the dark. I have a low GPA (sub 3.5, but 4.0 since finding my passion in medicine) and high MCAT (above 36). I somehow got invited to interview at one program, despite only having 1 research experience that was part-time and over the summer.

In many colleges that have strong track records for MD/PHD and PHD admissions, the institution doesn't even confer BS degrees.

Interview invites are just around the corner, figured I would copy @Glutenlover1948 's post from last year: The first emails should start coming soon, I think it's about time to copy @2021 -2022-NonTrad 's post from last year: The time is slowly approaching, hopefully sooner rather than later.
