($28 x $15) x 0.10 = $4.30

Based on this formula, your minimum retail price for your bracelet is $48, which means your wholesale price is $24. Without the 4x multiplier, your base cost as a business to make the item is $24.20.

In order to build a sustainable jewelry business, your minimum retail price must include your materials, labor, and overhead costs.

By setting your retail price at or above the minimum retail price, you guarantee a profit on each item, even if you run a special sale.

Compare the minimum retail prices of your items with similar items sold by your competition and decide if your targeted audience would pay the price you’ve set (or more). You want to price your items competitively—not too high that you turn buyers away, but not so low that you can’t turn a profit.

Ok, so, like many people these days I make a lot of purchases online. This store just opened near us so we decided to see what they had to offer. Another reviewer had mentioned that the store had a bad odor. I whole heartedly agree. The odor was mostely coming from the manmade materials and glue used to make the footwear they sell. The shoe department is right inside the main doors so it hits you as soon as you walk in and lingers throughout the store. Of course like with all clothing retailers, prices in the womens department and infant department were much lower than the mens department. If I am going to pay high end prices then I'm going to shop at a high end store that doesn't make your eyes water from the vapors emitting from the shoe department. From my personal observations this store doesn't know what it wants to be when it grows up. Is it a cheap clothing and shoe store or a Home Goods store or a Walmart want-a-be. Go see for yourself but beware of their shortcomings and you tell me what you smell. Oh, and I may be wrong but I swear I saw perfume by the quart (maybe not a quart but really big bottles).

I've been waiting for this store to open. I've heard of but never been in a Ross store before. I have to say i was definitely a bit disappointed. The 'look' alone of the store wasn't great. There were half empty clothes racks that looked like a cross between a Burlington (not my favorite) and a good will store. I expected something more on the line of a TJ Maxx. Though the prices looked decent, nothing appealed to me. I didn't see anything that would draw me back. One exception was the infant section. There seemed to be name brands at decent prices. 2024-17

I came on opening day. It was definitely busy. But it smelled really badly of soup in there! I actually thought maybe someone nearby had B.O. but as I kept walking, the smell remained. It bugged me so I didn't explore the whole store; I did the Cheektowaga location and it's pretty much the same so I have the gist.Mostly I explored women's shoes, some clothes, accessories, jewelry. I think Ross is an awesome place for people on a tight budget. Everything is super affordable and you can stretch your money. However, everything to me also seems a bit out of style (not horribly, just a bit), and cheaply made. Shirts are so thin. I am someone on a budget but not bad enough to sacrifice quality. I also find selection to be more limited than its competitors. They did have a nice amount of name brand perfume. To sum it up, awesome place for a tight budget (or a very frugal shopper). If you like a wide selection and higher quality, maybe skip this place ... or plan on likely making another stop after visiting here.

The Unique Burial of a Child of Early Scythian Time at the Cemetery of Saryg-Bulun (Tuva)

In 1988, the Tuvan Archaeological Expedition (led by M. E. Kilunovskaya and V. A. Semenov) discovered a unique burial of the early Iron Age at Saryg-Bulun in Central Tuva. There are two burial mounds of the Aldy-Bel culture dated by 7th century BC. Within the barrows, which adjoined one another, forming a figure-of-eight, there were discovered 7 burials, from which a representative collection of artifacts was recovered. Burial 5 was the most unique, it was found in a coffin made of a larch trunk, with a tightly closed lid. Due to the preservative properties of larch and lack of air access, the coffin contained a well-preserved mummy of a child with an accompanying set of grave goods. The interred individual retained the skin on his face and had a leather headdress painted with red pigment and a coat, sewn from jerboa fur. The coat was belted with a leather belt with bronze ornaments and buckles. Besides that, a leather quiver with arrows with the shafts decorated with painted ornaments, fully preserved battle pick and a bow were buried in the coffin. Unexpectedly, the full-genomic analysis, showed that the individual was female. This fact opens a new aspect in the study of the social history of the Scythian society and perhaps brings us back to the myth of the Amazons, discussed by Herodotus. Of course, this discovery is unique in its preservation for the Scythian culture of Tuva and requires careful study and conservation.
