Introduction.

Humans are fond of animals. With some of the significant dreams in life, owning a pet is also one. Pets are not only a sense of happiness, but they also prove to be a family member.

Though there are several dangerous species, humans adopt the ones that are among the least dangerous. People train their pets. The training is given by either the owner himself or someone virtuoso. It helps them to behave as similar to humans and even to be more familiar with human life.

Let us see some of my favorite animals. Those like the animals a lot, but dogs, rabbits, and horses are my favorite ones.

My Favourite Animal – Dogs

To start the list with the most common pet which I believe in. The dog comes first. Dogs are a sense of security and love for humans. Some people opt for dogs because of their wealthy lifestyle, some to increase their security. However, for some, it is the sense of love.

My favorite animal is a dog. I love dogs because they are very loyal. They have very soft skin, and I love to move my hand on their furry body.

I still remember the day when my father gifted me with a dog. It was my 10th birthday, and on that birthday, my father gave me such a precious gift.

I like to have fun with my dog. I usually play with him, and when I am sad, he sits by my side, and that makes me happy.

Dogs have a sense of love, are food friends, and are smart investigators. Investigation Department keeps Dogs as a security agent to find a critical solution to a problem. Dogs are too smart that they catch up the things very quickly.

Dogs with intelligent power are trained and used by the police and army to smell the traces of criminals and, in the investigation, work either indoor or outdoor.

Dogs are among those rare pets who do not care for their own life when serving their master. They are ready to die in a hard situation just to save their master’s life.

When we talk about the fooding habits of Dogs, they usually love to eat meat, fruits, fish, rice, bread, and other eatables.

All these capabilities of dogs make me love them so much.

My Favourite Animal – Rabbit

My favorite animal is Rabbit. Rabbits are so beautiful that people like to keep them as their pets. For some houses, Rabbits are the center of attraction.

They have long ears, soft furry body, and twitchy noses. Rabbits also love to chew on everything. With such smallmouth and their regular chewing habits, it seems even cuter.

Their favorite fruit includes fresh vegetables, grass, and some fruits like pineapple.

When we talk about their sleeping habits, Rabbits usually sleep during day and night and are awake at the time of dawn and dusk.

My Favourite Animal – Horses

Another capable animal who is always ready to take on the fear is Horse.

We often talk about dogs when it comes to training and security. However, Horses are also capable of helping humans in those tough times.

Though horses are not as intelligent, they are as fast as the wind, in some situations. People may ride on the back of horses either to cover a certain distance or to fulfill their habits.

I love horses because there is a real example of bravery. In past times, horses were used in battles to chase the enemy or to kill them.

On the other hand, horse riding is another luxury habit nowadays. People are fond of horse riding, and they even keep them as a pet at the homes.

Love for horses will never end because of its friendly nature. It is beneficial and useful to human society. Like all other big animals, i.e., camel and elephant, horses are also used t carry loads. Horses are beautiful and brilliant creatures. Their highly bushy tails always mesmerize everyone and is a center os attention.

Horses are of many colors like white, black, brown, golden, burgundy, or a mix of any two of these. It is a tall animal and comes under the mammal category.

If you own a horse, you will realize how quick this mammal is. Horses are very aware and alert of the surroundings. In addition, when we about its power, horses have a majesty body, which is so powerful that it can even break the door within seconds.

Horses are known around the world for their sharp memory and intelligent power. Along with being a smart animal, horses are a real example of calmness. They genuinely love peace and harmony.

You ever wondered how horses are too fast! The durable and long limbs of horses help them to speed up as fast as possible and to travel distance within a short period.  Because of their strength and endurance, they are used to fight wars. We can consider them as the right worriers.

They are considered as a symbol of royalty because of their beauty,

Along with their features, god also has provided them with an add on advantage of universal shoes. These shoes help them to run on any kind of surface, i.e., either uneven or plain.

To sum up, horses are fore – footed gentle domestic animal. They can be tamed easily with polite nature.

With thousands of species around the globe, these are few which can be trained and treated a friend. It is made possible just because of the nature and intelligence power of the animal.

Humans are considered as the wonderful creatures made by god. Animals also lie in the same bracket. When tamed and treated properly, both the humans and the animals could be of great use.

However, we should be well aware of these animals. This is true that they are helpful and friendly, but sometimes, because of diseases and disorders, they may harm their master. Though this is too rare to happen, the precautions taken in advance are of great importance.

Be aware and treat well! We have got wonderful gifts from god.

My turtle is always hungry and likes to eat the canned turtle food we buy for him. Watching him swim around in the terrarium is a very beautiful sight.

My favourite animal is rabbit. They have beautiful long ears, twitchy noses, and soft furry bodies. Rabbits love to chew on everything, and their favourite food includes grass, fresh vegetables, and fruits like pineapple. Rabbits usually sleep during the day and night. They are awake at dusk and dawn.

My favourite animal is a horse. They are herbivorous animals that feed on hay, grass, herbs, and some vegetables. Horses can form friendships with humans, as they are social animals. They are known for their majestic movements and speed.

My Pet Turtle

I want to tell you about my pet. Its name is Plue. I named it Plue because I think it is ...... well I don’t know why, I just like to call it Plue. Plue is a turtle which is more precisely. It is a Brazilian turtle. And I think Plue is a male and about three years old. I calculate it from the day I buy him in a pet shop.

Plue Is very unique for me, he has a shell on the top of his body, green scales, long neck, small tail and he has claw in every fingertip he has. Oh and he also has red stripe on his head. His size lies about 8-9 cm.

It always comes closer to anyone who gets near him, I think it is because he thinks that he wants to feed him. Oh yeah I forget to tell that I feed him with turtle food that I buy in the pet shop and sometimes I also feed him with little fish and he is very excited when I feed him with fish. It catches it too very quickly. And the aquarium is very crowded because they chase on another.

But there is something scary about my turtle. When I buy another turtle .... Looks, they are very strange, he always stares at my new turtle. First I think that he is happy because he has a friend in his aquarium. But suddenly he bites my new turtle and I don’t know when it happened. When I came back I saw my new turtle almost lost half of its legs and .... he still bite it. Poor turtle, after that incident that turtle died and I don't want to buy any turtle again.

Despite that he has an unusual habit. I still raise him because he is my first turtle that I have ever had.

Turtles can make great pets, but do your homework first

While turtles might seem like the perfect pet—less work than dogs and cats, more interactive than fish—there are a few things to keep in mind before buying one.

"They are definitely becoming more popular as pets. Some of them are very beautiful and they can be easily purchased over the internet. But there's no such thing as an easy pet," says Katrina Smith, adoptions coordinator for the Maryland-based Mid-Atlantic Turtle and Tortoise Society.

CONSIDER THE SOURCE

First, never take a wild turtle as a pet.

"Chances are they won't do well in captivity," Smith says. "Look into adopting a turtle from your local turtle society or www.petfinder.com before buying one. And if you do buy, make absolutely sure it's been born in captivity."

The cute, tiny turtles often found at tourist shops across the country may be hard to resist, but turtle experts say you should.

"Don't buy those tiny turtles you see for sale in Chinatown in New York, or in tourist shops in Daytona Beach on spring break," Smith says. "They're being sold illegally."

Some states, like New Jersey, require permits for pet turtles, largely due to concerns about already stressed populations of native turtles, Smith says. Be sure to check local laws before deciding what kind of turtle to adopt, Smith says.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

Because many turtles carry salmonella, young children, the elderly, pregnant women and others at risk should avoid contact with turtles or be extra careful to wash their hands thoroughly after touching them.

Connected to this risk, federal law prohibits selling turtles less than 4 inches in size because of the risk of children putting them in their mouths.

Dave Pauli, a senior adviser for wildlife response and policy for the Humane Society of the United States, runs a large turtle and tortoise rescue and rehabilitation center in Billings, Montana. He stresses the importance of "good hygiene protocol" when taking a turtle into a home.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention urge people to treat all turtles as if they are contaminated with salmonella, because they probably are. Wash hands thoroughly after touching turtles, their cages or their feces, and do not touch your face, other people, or any surface until your hands have been washed. Also, turtles should be kept separate from food and kept away with people at high risk of infection, the center advises.

PICKING THE RIGHT VARIETY

Some turtles that start out small can grow to the size of a garbage can lid, so do your homework ahead of time when selecting a type and gender of turtle to call your own. In many species, females grow to be much larger than their male counterparts, Smith says.

The best varieties for beginners are male painted turtles, U.S. mud and musk turtles, and male red-eared sliders, she says.

CARING FOR YOUR ANIMAL

"Turtles require more maintenance and space than most people generally assume," Pauli says, "and they live for decades, so buyers should be aware that they are a pet that may well outlive them."

Turtles require a varied and sometime messy diet, room to roam in an aquarium and strict temperature control. Their habitat needs to be cleaned more often than many people realize, although water turtles require less maintenance than box turtle or other varieties.

GET TO KNOW YOUR TURTLE

Turtles can be beautiful pets and "are really cool to have," Pauli says. "They're extremely interesting and have individual personalities. But they are exotic pets, and pet store owners are generally an extremely poor source of information about them."

Experts advise seeking out a local turtle and tortoise society or club—there are dozens across the country—for information and animals. Turtle societies can answer questions about caring for pets and promoting turtle welfare.

If you have a turtle that is proving to be more than you can handle, contact a turtle society about what to do, and never release them into the wild.

Certain types of turtle—red-eared sliders, for example—are so frequently released by pet owners into the wild that they have become an invasive species around the world, and are threatening native turtle populations.

Turtles are hardy and can be wonderful pets, experts say. Just know what you're getting into, and how to care for them properly to ensure a healthy life for the turtle, its owner, and native species in your area.

My Pet Turtle

I have a pet turtle named Rex. He likes me so much he follows me around the house slowly. He finds me and lies on his back, waiting to be tickled. I tickle him and pick him up and get him a bit of food. Rex likes cheese and I always feed it to him. Rex also likes to play with small marbles I roll them 30cm away and he follows it and tries to move it with his hands. Rex has a shell and if anyone did step on him, which hasn't happened, he would not die. Rex was a little newborn at the pet shop so I asked if I could buy him. One day I had to go to school. I had bought Rex on the weekend and I am now going to school. I packed my bag and shut the door. I scanned the door and the hall and there was no turtle. I sighed and turned around and two big green eyes stared back at me. Rex. I put him inside and walked off to the bus stop. 10 minutes later a green shell walked up to me when the bus pulled in. I sighed and put Rex in my hat and walked onto the bus. Later when I got home from school, I told Mum what had happened when Rex followed me to school. He sat at my desk and watched me do my work and I was the only one doing work because everyone was looking at Rex and thinking, “What a cute turtle” and “What is a turtle doing at school?”. I fed Rex and put him in his mini bed. The next morning I felt my head was as heavy as a brick,then two big green eyes were straight in front of my face. He was standing on my face! I didn't move for what seemed like hours and then a long wet tongue licked my nose. The turtle fell off me and landed on his back. I then gave him a big tummy tickle. I love my pet turtle Rex!

Around the world, people keep various animals as their pets. Some are fond of cats, while others prefer fish aquariums, some love to play with cows in the cattle field. But by far, the most adored animal on the planet is a dog. It is called a man’s best friend for the same reason. The loyalty of a dog is unmatched and unbeatable. For introverted people, dogs tend to be the perfect companions. The company of a dog is what a person needs when he/she is sad or upset. Dogs provide love and support, and they accurately detect when their owner is sad or crying. 

Studies have shown that being in company with a dog can result in less anxiety. For someone battling with anxiety disorder, I can vouch for it, that dogs are the greatest stress busters, and sometimes even replace therapy sessions. A long walk with a dog can do the trick.

Types of Dogs

Dogs come in a variety of breeds. The most famous dog breeds are Labrador retrievers, bulldogs, german shepherds and pugs. 

Although all the dogs are extremely friendly, nothing can beat a labrador when it comes to friendliness. They are loving and understand when their owner is upset or happy. The German shepherds, Dobermann and the bulldogs are quite protective, they serve well if the owner is living alone. The smaller breeds like pug and chihuahua are cute and are not that hard to tame. Pomeranians with their long hair are a little hard to maintain, but still can be done. 

In a real-life incident that happened in 2013, a mountain dog called Bella saved her owner out of a burning house. That's how protective and caring the dogs are. 

The reason dogs are so protective when it comes to their owners is that they consider them a family. But for a dog to act right when it's being protective it needs to be trained. Most dogs act aggressively when they are protective.

Owning a dog is also a huge responsibility and commitment. Owning a dog means taking care of it like a family member. It is like having a younger sibling or a small child in the home that constantly needs care and attention. 

Before owning a pet, one also needs to know how to train a dog as it is quite important.

The dog injuries can be prevented by training them and also taking a handful of precautions. Regular visits to the vet clinic can be helpful to keep any dog's infections or mites on the bay.

When petting the dog make sure the hands are washed before and after. This will reduce the risk of infections if any. 

The dogs also need hygienic surroundings. The food supplies and the dog utensils should be kept clean.

It is a human need to be loved and appreciated, and dogs do that pretty well. With the company of a dog, a human can seldom feel alone. Humans are more likely to recover from illnesses when they are in the company of a dog. The interesting fact is that owning a dog will increase one's physical activity and well-being, as you need to consistently take them out for a walk outdoors, it is a win-win for both the owner and the dog.

During hot summer days, Rocket spends most of his time indoors, sleeping in my room. We also give him a haircut to make him feel more comfortable. When it is colder outside, he likes to venture out into the garden and hunt little animals. Even though we give him all the best foods, his hunting instincts remain the same as all other cats. He often hunts little birds, pigeons, chipmunks, and any other unfortunate critters that wander into the garden.

Rocket also loves to be pet and cuddled. He likes it when I scratch his back with a comb. When he is not the apex predator in the garden, he is a silly cat playing with random things in the house. I cannot wish for a better pet than Rocket!
