Ever since Salman Khan announced a multi-starrer, many of us were eager to see what he had in store for us. Then came the various posters and songs, but what gave us a sneak peek into Bhaijaan’s world was the Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Jaan trailer .

The very first glimpses of the film confirmed that we are in for a complete package of entertainment, thus piquing our excitement. And the film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan lives up to that expectation, with an ensemble cast of Pooja Hegde , Shehnaaz Gill , Venkatesh Daggubati , Bhumika Chawla , Raghav Juyal , Jagapathi Bapu , Palak Tiwari , Jassie Gill , Siddharth Nigam , and Vinali Bhatnagar .

Well, right from the first scene in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, you know that you are in for a fun-filled fantastic film. And by the end, you see how Salman aka Bhaijaan is the wind beneath every actor’s wing in this film.

The film has swag right from the first frame! In fact, Salman makes an entry in the midst of whistles. Not just on-screen, but off-screen too, Bhaijaan received a warm welcome from his fans in the audience. The peppy number O Balle Balle sets the vibrant mood just right. And, in the first 10 mins, we know that this film is going to be fun to watch.

While the film is high on emotions and drama, what’s adorable is to see the story trace back to Salman’s iconic film Main Ne Pyaar Kiya .

I must say, the film has all that makes a good commercial potboiler, be it the swag, the entertaining songs, the drama, the action, and even the one-liners. Not just that, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan has a cast that is very interesting. What I loved the most is how everyone fit into their roles so well.

The story revolves around Bhaijaan, an orphan who dedicates his life to bringing up his 3 brothers – Siddharth, Raghav, and Jassie (Love, Ishq, and Mo) after their orphanage catches fire. His life revolves around them, but three ladies rule Love, Ishq, and Mo’s hearts. So they decide to play Cupid and get Bhaijaan married in order to clear the path for them. Luckily, they meet Bhagyalaxmi (Pooja Hegde) and decide to play matchmakers.

While Bhaijaan has sworn off marriage for his brothers, Ishq, Mo, and Love, too, decide to remain unmarried. But their girlfriends urge Bhagya to convince Bhaijaan to approve of their relationship. In all of this, the Cupids (brothers) succeed in making Bhaijaan and Bhagya fall in love. Finally, Bhagya informs her brother (Venkatesh Daggubati), who agrees to meet Bhaijaan. However, there is also danger lurking in the background.

Nageshwar (Jagapathi) has been behind Bhagya’s family due to a past grudge. However, Bhaijaan takes it upon himself to protect Bhagya’s family. But, Bhagya’s non-violent brother Bala doesn’t approve of Bhaijaan’s violent means. Bala goes ahead to apologize to Nageshwar and further end the animosity, to protect his family. However, Nageshwar has other plans. He continues to plot against the Gundamenonis.

Nageshwar follows them to Delhi to spoil Bhaijaan and his brother’s wedding. And this face-off is something. That’s when the backstory unfolds and Venkatesh emerges as a surprise package.

Like always the good triumphs over the evil and they all live happily ever after.

What’s great about Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan…

The Performances

Considering the huge star cast, there is a great chance of some characters or performances taking a hit. But in KKBKKJ, everyone’s performance is great. Be it the brothers (Jassie Gill, Raghav Juyal, and Siddharth Nigam), their girlfriends, (Palak Tiwari, Shehnaaz Gill, and Vinali Bhatnagar), Salman Khan, or even Pooja Hegde. In fact, the performances are so great that they make the film quite a worthwhile experience. Even Jagapathi Babu and Vijendra Singh as villains have also done a good job in the movie.

The dialogue delivery

With such interesting dialogues, it is very important to deliver them brilliantly too. And the cast does so. Especially, Salman’s dialogues are great! And, the swag with which Bhaijaan says them, adds the oomph to his impact.

The storyline

Even though it is a complex story it is a great one. It has all the elements of being a blockbuster. In fact, you will only enjoy watching the story as it unfolds throughout. Even exploring all these relations and inter-relations is delightful.

There are a lot of songs in the film and each one of them does great justice to the story. They are so well placed and watching them on the big screen is a vibe. My personal favourites are Yentamma and Billi Billi .

Drawbacks of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan…

A complex plotline

With a story so entangled, and having so many actors, it’s a fabulous job done. But, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan has one little drawback. It is that you have to be very attentive to follow the plot, or else you will get confused.

Conclusion:

Director Farhad Samji has done a great job in weaving this story together. Even though the film is fun it is high on emotions. In fact, it is a proper Eid treat. The film will make you laugh, clap, hoot, and whistle throughout. It is a true celebration you can have with your family by watching this film on the big screen. Eid Mubarak!

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan Movie Review: This Eid, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is making a grand entry with another power-packed leading role in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan after four years. Eid celebrations are synonymous with Salman Khan. His much-awaited film KBKJ released in theaters on Friday with Housefull. The film is a family action drama directed by Farhad Samji and Pooja Hegde in the leading role opposite Salman. The film also stars Jagapati Babu, Jassi Gill, Raghav Juyal, Bhumika Chawla, Bhagyashree, Shehnaaz Gill, Palak Tiwari, Siddharth Nigam, Vinali and Satish Kaushik for the last time.

Like always, Salman Khan won hearts with his swag, style, and dynamic entry. The superstar's strong screen presence weaved magic while Pooja Hegde also did a good job. The duo looked good onscreen. Other actors including Raghav, Shehnaaz Gill, Jassi, Palak Tiwari, Vinali Bhatnagar, Boxer Vijender Singh, and Abhimanyu Singh also managed to hold the attention when they came on the big screen. The characters are knitted in an interesting way giving them all a fair screen time which they managed to justify.

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan Storyline

The eldest brother i.e. Bhaijaan (Salman Khan) lives with his three brothers and loves them more than himself. He takes a vow not to marry which creates problems in his brothers' love lives as they each have a love story behind his back. In order to find a special someone for their Bhaijaan, they face many difficulties. Then he meets Bhagya (Pooja Hegde) who brings Bhaijaan and his family to her home to introduce them to their culture. Here Bhaijaan meets her elder brother Rowdy Anna (Venkatesh). How the members of these two different families and cultures meet and what problems they face together make Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.

The film brings together North and South in an entertaining way. The film shows the vibrant atmosphere of the north till the interval and then the color of the South spreads on the screen. From Balle Balle to Billi Billi, all the songs are catchy. Seeing Satish Kaushik on the screen for one last time also brings tears to the eyes.

It is a pure joy to watch Salman Khan and Venkatesh together on the big screen.

It is a family movie and it is a story of two provinces, so it is obvious that there are many actors who got less screen space. However, their presence in the songs makes up for it.

In Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan , the righteous and invincible male protagonist has three brothers who he dotes on and a lover whose family he vows to protect at all costs. That is a huge load to carry in a film as wafer-thin as this one. Lead actor Salman Khan takes the onus upon himself, pulls out the stops and splits his Bhaijaan persona into two.

Neither delivers the goods because the star falls between two stools and plummets to an all-time low. KKBKKJ , directed by Farhad Samji, is an insufferably ham-fisted affair that is likely to have two distinct effects on the audience (unless, of course, you are a fan of the superstar and are willing to be lenient). The first half is a spectacularly scrappy snooze-fest, the second a headache-inducing free-for-all. Both are sans a shred of logic.

In the first half, the lead actor sports long, flowing hair and mouths inanities about fraternal love and social duty. In the second, he has a short mop but continues to trot out trivialities about violence and non-violence as the action shifts to the sprawling home of a family in South India.

No matter what the star does, and irrespective of what the motley crowd of actors around him tries, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan does not generate a single moment that could be regarded as passably entertaining. Even the film's action sequences - there are many - cannot break free from the stranglehold of monotony.

The writing scrapes the bottom of the barrel. The acting fares no better even though Venkatesh Daggubati as an epitome of virtue and Jagapathi Babu as malevolence personified step into the breach in an attempt to rescue the film from its plasticky drudgery and inject some shrill, old-fashioned good-versus-evil melodrama into the proceedings.

KKBKKJ , silly and sluggish, is the kind of Mumbai film that can put an overflowing trashcan to shame. Its principal premise rests on a man's decision not to marry because he fears that the advent of a woman in his life would destroy his deep bond with his brothers.

The idea is cringeworthy all the way! If you are thinking a variation on Satte Pe Satte, KKBKKJ is definitely no Chauke Pe Chauka . If anything, it should have been titled At Sixes and Sevens!

Two groups of men - one in the National Capital, the other in Hyderabad or thereabouts - have their eyes on a Delhi mohalla where Bhaijaan (Salman Khan) lives with his three brothers - Love (Siddharth Nigam), Ishq (Raghav Juyal) and Moh (Jassie Gill).

The neighborhood is as safe as a house as long as the hero is around to keep watch over its residents. An opening fight sequence establishes that fact beyond an iota of doubt. Once the goons are sent packing, the brothers celebrate with a song and dance set piece. That is a pattern that the film follows right until the end - a bunch of scenes is followed by a song whether it makes sense or not.

All three of Bhaijaan's brothers have girlfriends, but they cannot think of settling down until Bhaijaan agrees to marry. So, they set him up with Bhagyalakshmi (Pooja Hegde), a newcomer to the colony. The girl's name has a meta echo.

In a brief early detour, Bhaijaan finds himself in Mumbai at the wedding of (Salman Khan's Maine Pyar Kiya heroine) Bhagyashree's son. The actress, her real-life husband Himalaya Dassani and their son Abhimanyu put in an appearance as themselves - about the only passage in the film that strikes a bit of a chord. The rest is all a shoddy shaggy-dog story.

Back home in Telangana, Bhagya, who becomes friend with Bhaijaan's siblings, has an elder brother (Venkatesh Daggubati), who hates violence and people who perpetrate it. Bhagya is alarmed to figure out that Bhaijaan and his bros are a very, very violent lot.

All the misgivings and worries notwithstanding, there is no dearth of violence in the film's second half as Nageshwara (Jagapathi Babu) unleashes his men on the family of Balakrishnan (Venkatesh Daggubati), which includes his mother (Rohini Hattangadi), wife (Bhumika Chawla) and, of course, his sister Bhagyalakshmi.

The film also has a nattily attired pugilist Vijender Singh essaying the role of a villain, an MLA bent on grabbing the patch of land that belongs to Bhaijaan and his neighbours. As an actor, his punches never quite land.

Salman Khan never deigns to loosen his grip on the narrative, not even when Venkatesh is at hand to share some of the load. The star overshadows the character and the narrative (or whatever there is of it) so completely that there is no scope for anything or anybody in the film developing beyond the film's cardboard cutout dimensions.

Hearing a guy sing totally off-tune, Bhaijaan's romantic interest complains: Gaane ki band baja raha hai . She could well have been referring to what many members of the film's cast have gone and done to the craft of acting out here in a span of two and a half hours - left it in tatters.

At another point in the film, she confesses that hamari geography aur history sab galat hai . Precisely. Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is a travesty of gigantic proportions no matter what geography you belong to, what history you believe in and what you think cinema should be. A bad film is a bad film. KKBKKJ is beyond bad.

Salman Khan fans cannot keep calm ahead of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’s release.

Premiere of the much-awaited film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, which was scheduled on April 20, has been cancelled due to the demise of Pamela Chopra, wife of the late filmmaker Yash Chopra’s wife.

According to Bollywood Hungama, Salman Khan's film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan has sold approximately 35,000 advance tickets at national multiplex chains. The advance bookings are expected to pick pace by Thursday night.

Salman Khan's Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan joins the bandwagon of Hindi remakes of South films. The movie is a remake of Ajith's Tamil film Veeram. Of late, Hindi remakes of South films (Bholaa, Selfiee and Vikram Vedha) have not tasted success at the box office. In an interview with indianexpress.com, film trade expert Taran Adarsh said, “That novelty factor goes away when you remake a film. People have had enough of remakes. They don’t want to watch remakes. It’s a wrong thing to do remakes now since they are available on all platforms be it YouTube, OTT, and also in local languages and with subtitles. So, why remake, why can’t we make original films?”

In an interview with indianexpress.com, Shehnaaz GIll said, “If I had not gone to the show, you wouldn’t be interviewing me either. That show gave me a huge platform and my reality has made me who I am. Through the show, I also got to know a lot about myself, that this is how I react. You do learn a lot. The love wasn’t overnight. I worked really hard. I was on Bigg Boss for four months, and people connected with my reality. It’s really hard to live in that house, you do really get tortured there. Telugu actor Jagapathi Babu will be seen playing the villain in Salman Khan's film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Although he has been part of pan-India film Radhe Shyam, this is going to be his first all-out Bollywood movie.

At the trailer launch of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, Salman Khan said his break from the big screen has been unusually long but he will change that by releasing films “every six months”. The actor will be next seen in the third installment of Yash Raj Films’ spy actioner Tiger. He’s rumoured to start shooting for a Sooraj Barjatya directorial after wrapping up Tiger 3.

“The character Bhagyalakshmi is so integral to the film in terms of why Salman sir is doing what he is. She is the jaan (life) of the film. It’s really an honour to have an integral part in a film like Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. At the end of the day, it is a Salman Khan film. Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan has sold 20,000 tickets at PVR, Inox and Cinepolis. For comparison, Pathaan had sold 2.2 lakh tickets in advance.

KISI KA BHAI KISI KI JAAN is the story of a man and his three brothers. Bhaijaan (Salman Khan) lives in Delhi in a neighbourhood where he’s much revered and respected. A corrupt wealthy man Mahavir (Vijender Singh) wants to usurp the neighbourhood for commercial gains. But he’s unable to ... do so due to Bhaijaan and his power. Bhaijaan meanwhile has three brothers, Moh (Jassie Gill), Ishq (Raghav Juyal) and Love (Siddharth Nigam). The quartet has vowed never to marry as they feel that their to-be partners will separate them. But Moh, Ishq and Love are secretly dating Muskaan (Palak Tiwari), Sukoon (Shehnaaz Gill) and Chahat (Vinali Bhatnagar) respectively. Nadeem chacha (Satish Kaushik) and his two friends (Tej Sapru, Aasif Sheikh) from the neighbourhood learn about their love affairs. They caution them that if Bhaijaan learns about it, he’ll be devastated. Hence, the brothers and their lovers decide to find a partner for Bhaijaan. As luck would have it, they come across Bhagylaxmi aka Bhagya (Pooja Hegde) and they conclude that she fits the bill. Fortunately, Bhagya also falls for Bhaijaan and gels well with the brothers, especially when the brothers tell Bhagya that Bhaijaan is a non-violent person, just like Bhagya’s elder brother Balakrishna (Venkatesh Daggubati). Bhaijaan, too, develops feelings for her and he goes ahead once he realizes that Bhagya won’t cause problems between them. Bhagya decides to head to Hyderabad with Bhaijaan to introduce him to his family. On the way, both get attacked and Bhaijaan violently finishes off the opponents. Bhagya gets the shock of her life and fears that the peace-loving Balakrishna would never accept him. What happens next forms the rest of the film.

O TT platforms have emerged as one of the most popular entertainment mediums thanks to their variety of content and genres. The third week of June will see many interesting titles premiering on various platforms.

1. Tiku Weds Sheru

In the romantic comedy, two oddball characters pursue their dreams of becoming movie stars. Avneet Kaur's Tiku views marriage as her way out of her small-town life and into Mumbai, where she hopes to become an actress, whereas Nawazuddin Siddiqui's Sheru has long been employed as an artist. The comedy of mistakes for this couple begins after their marriage.

Streaming Giant now offers the Hindi version of Ponniyin Selvan 2 by Mani Ratnam. The movie continues from PS 1's tense climax. 4. Kerala Crime Files

There is a book called Kerala Crime Files that discusses crimes that occur in Kerala. A gruesome murder that occurred at the Grand Tourist Home Hotel is the subject of the detective-focused police drama that airs on television. Aju Varghese and Lal are the two key actors that play the investigators. While some other well-known actors also play supporting parts, the majority of the characters are police officers. There are roughly 70 actors in the movie.

Who doesn’t enjoy a good melodrama? Especially if led by Manoj Bajpayee, the actor known for delivering strong performances. His new film, ‘Bhaiyya Ji’, however, feels like Bhiku Mhatre [from Satya] has been unleashed and Bajpayee took this up as his vacation project to enjoy outlandish action.

Bhaiyya Ji, aka Ram Charan [played by Bajpayee], is a former vigilante who takes the oath of non-violence after losing his father to a gang war. However, after his younger ‘step’ brother, played by Jatin Goswani, is murdered by an arrogant father-son duo in Delhi, he reclaims his title and returns to his violent ways.

Bajpayee embraces the mediocrity of the script in all its glory. He plays Ram Charan with a sense of abandonment needed to make it believable. A lean Bajpayee is seen jumping off roofs, hitting 10 men at once, all this while recuperating from injuries. But you believe it because it’s Manoj Bajpayee. However, there can be no excuse for entry-level VFX being used in the film.

The dialogues seem like they are lifted from a massy Telugu film. At one point, a person says, ‘Yeh Robinhood nahi, uska baap hai,’ and the entire theatre erupts in laughter because of the absurdity.

The film actually starts with a story that seems worth investing your emotions in but loses steam almost immediately. It feels like the makers had to resort to ChatGPT to complete the draft of this film.

Some of the most hilarious lines come from Vipin Sharma, who plays the corrupt cop. But none of these are enough to make you want to root for the character. It is outdated and melodramatic with no arc for redemption.
