All prospective doctoral students in the department will apply for a PhD in Human Sciences.  Areas of specialization distinguish each student’s academic focus and should be clearly indicated on the application.  A specialization should be selected from the following areas:

Doctor of Philosophy in Human Sciences with a Specialization in Merchandising

The objective of a Doctor of Philosophy of Human Sciences with a specialization in Merchandising is to prepare future practitioners who can critically apply knowledge of merchandising practices to the soft-goods industry.  Learning innovative merchandising techniques, including the extensive use of technology, will provide students with applicable knowledge of the field.  Students will also learn and apply theory and research methods to address industry challenges. In addition, interdisciplinary knowledge, from fields such as marketing and educational psychology, will enhance students’ perspectives toward research.

Doctor of Philosophy in Human Sciences with a Specialization in Apparel Design

The Doctor of Philosophy program in Human Sciences with a specialization in Apparel Design is designed to educate apparel design scholars who can comprehensively apply theory, knowledge and academic research to their specialties. An in-depth look is taken at fundamental apparel design disciplines as well as relevant interdisciplinary knowledge and technologies, in which students should play a leading role in the future. Related fields will vary depending on the specific focus of the student but may include and are not be limited to anthropology, art, business, education, history, psychology, technology, theater, and women and gender studies.

The required number of hours for any TMFD specialization is 90 hours of 800 or 900 level courses, including 20 dissertation hours.  Distribution of courses include:

The goal of the Ph.D. in Textiles, Merchandising & Fashion Design with a specialization in Material Culture and Textile Studies is to educate professionals and academics who can comprehensively apply theory, research, and knowledge in their respective and chosen career fields. Students will gain an in-depth understanding of the various applications and methodologies that incorporate and/or focus on object based research as a primary means of studying the cultural, social, economic, political, and personal experiences of people, both past and present. Related fields such as (but not limited to) history, art history, anthropology, sociology and women’s and gender studies are included in the specialization to enhance students’ abilities to understand and apply concepts and theories from outside their particular area of expertise and contribute to the development of original research and advancement of knowledge in the interdisciplinary field of material culture.

Requirements for Applicants 

  • Completion of online application through Admit; Applicants will indicate the intended program (PhD applicants will select Human Sciences, MA & MS applicants will select Textiles, Merchandising & Fashion Design). All applicants will select a specialization 
  • Grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale
  • Minimum TOEFL scores (International Students only) 550 on paper test, 213 on computer based test or 79 on the internet based test (Institution code – 6877)
  • Digital Portfolio for textile design and apparel design areas of interest
  • Personal Statement: Letter of application describing educational and career goals.

Any of the following would be an appropriate writing sample: 

  • manuscript or published article resulting from earlier research such as master's thesis
  • paper given at a professional meeting
  • substantial paper such as a review of literature
  • grant proposal
  • critique of a research article
  • professional materials developed for use in one's workplace

It’s week 3 of teaching outfit ideas! Now that we’re approaching early fall, I’m excited to break out some more casual layers for the classroom. Here’s what I would wear!

I don’t know about you, but dressing for university buildings is really tricky for me at this time of year. Buildings are chilly but the weather is still hot, so smart layers are a must. Add on top of that that there’s no real dress code in academia and we’re in a fashion gray area. These outfits were designed with those issues in mind. Away we go!

Black and navy were probably at one point a fashion don’t, but they’re cool together now, so I had to try them out. This outfit felt a bit masculine to me, but sometimes as a woman in academia, that’s the vibe you need for the first couple weeks of classes. Sneakers add a bit more of a fun touch, though–you know, I’m a cool professor not a regular professor etc etc.

My typical teaching outfit formula is 1 business item + 1 casual item, which here takes the form of casual tee + business loafers. The pants are a wildcard I guess–the added word I’m looking for might be playful, interesting, artsy? I saw a great definition of personal style lately as “when what you want to demonstrate inside matches your outsides” (sorry, can’t remember who said this!) and that made me realize that I want to look both competent/smart and warm/approachable/fun. So now I’m trying to strike that balance a bit more using fun clothing shapes or fun accessories!

Hi! I’m trying to replace my work shoes, and I really like the shoes in your Friday outfit. You mentioned in your week 2 post last week that you walk all over campus, and I do too (plus, I walk about 30 minutes to get to campus).

Do you feel the Vivaia shoes are comfortable enough for that, or do you prefer to wear them days you don’t have to trek all over? I usually wear Mary Jane-style Keens, but they’re starting to fall apart, so I’m on the lookout for new shoes that are comfortable but look nice enough for teaching and grad school.

Apparel Design Graduate Programs

Apparel Design provides a unique approach to graduate study through its focus on conducting independent research in aspects of apparel design including fashion theory, functional apparel, sizing and anthropometrics, cultural and historic aspects of dress and textile design, apparel industry issues, CAD and other technologies, etc. We help you craft your graduate research program based on your interests and goals to address significant issues of apparel design within the context of aesthetics, production, function, and the meanings of dress.

Diverse, engaged faculty

The apparel design faculty has research- and industry-based expertise from design conception through production and analysis. The fiber science faculty offer supporting courses in fabric structure, color and functional characteristics for apparel students and contribute technical expertise to thesis/dissertation research. Working with a professor with whom your research interests align, you'll also take courses with other department faculty and in other fields of study related to your thesis/dissertation research.

Individualized programs

A written thesis is required for completion of all graduate degrees in Fiber Science & Apparel Design. Candidates for the Ph.D. require at least three years of full-time study beyond the master's degree. Candidates for the M.A. usually complete their degree requirements within two years.  For a complete program description, see the  graduate student handbook .

Unlike undergraduate studies, graduate work focuses on independent research. At the masters level, you identify a research focus and select courses that will prepare you to conduct the research. At the Ph.D. level you are also expected to take coursework that will give you a broad base in all aspects of the apparel design discipline, along with courses that will help you develop your research topic. The core courses for graduate study in apparel design are:

  • FSAD 6415: Anthropology of the Fashioned Body
  • FSAD 6451: Fashion Curation
  • FSAD 6500: Fashion, Media, and Technology
  • FSAD 6640: Human Factors: Anthropometrics and Apparel
  • FSAD 6700: Fashion Theory and Philosophy
  • FSAD 6800 Ethical Design: Engine of Positive Change
  • FSAD 6900: Understanding Functional Aspects of Clothing and Design

Relevant, rigorous research

Your apparel design research immerses you in a problem-solving endeavor using qualitative and/or quantitative methods that link elements of apparel and textile design in the context of aesthetics, function, technique and the meaning of dress. These research projects often have an interdisciplinary perspective that reach across the university and to private industry and government.

The department and Cornell University provide excellent support and resources for graduate study, including competitive grants for research expenses, grants for travel to conferences and world-class libraries, collections and research labs.

The fall admission deadline is December 15.   We do not admit for spring.  Graduate study applications are submitted directly to the Graduate School of Cornell University, which has jurisdiction over all graduate work and advanced academic degrees.  A complete application includes a statement of purpose, a personal statement, unofficial transcripts, and two (preferably three) letters of recommendation.  Please do not include copies of certificates, passports or other documents.  We will not review your application until it is fully complete, including TOEFL/IELTS test scores. No individual faculty member can offer you admission.  A graduate admissions committee will read your application when it is complete and make the decision.

Application fee waivers are available in the application.

Admissions are based on evidence of potential capability for advanced study. Applicants for the Ph.D. must already hold a master's degree. We do not require the GRE.

International applicants must demonstrate proficiency in the English language by taking a TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or IELTS (International English Language Testing System) exam. Minimum TOEFL scores are as follows: Writing 20, Listening 15, Reading 20, Speaking 26, as well as a minimum total score of 100 . If ALL of these scores and the total are not met, applications will not be reviewed. The Graduate School requires an overall band score of a 7.0 or higher on the IELTS.

Cornell University expects all applicants to complete their application materials without the use of paid agents, credentials services or other paid professional assistance. The use of such services violates university policy, and may lead to the rejection of application materials, the revocation of an admissions offer, cancellation of admission or involuntary withdrawal from the university.

Applicants who wish to specialize in apparel design for an M.A. or Ph.D. may be asked to submit a portfolio.  For those whose research will be in applied design areas, a portfolio is required. Other research areas may not require a portfolio. Portfolios should contain whatever you feel is necessary to show your work. and need to be fewer than 10 MB to upload to your application. 

Financial support, in the form of teaching assistantships, graduate research assistantships or fellowships is offered with acceptance to Ph.D. students only. Full assistantships include tuition, fees and individual health insurance. Assistantships are offered for four academic years, mid-August through mid-May.  Continued funding is contingent upon acceptable academic performance constituting good standing in your graduate field and satisfactory fulfillment of any teaching or research responsibilities as defined by your assistantship supervisor.

The department does not provide financial support for master's students.

The Department of Materials encompasses an exceptional breadth of research and training in materials, from design and development, to performance and protection and management and marketing. Our multidisciplinary research activity covers broad, socially relevant materials themes that allow us to meet the needs of industry and society.

Our research is organised into eight research themes , although research projects often involve researchers in other groups, other schools, other universities and industry.

Our fashion management and marketing research focuses on various aspects of fashion apparel and textiles in a complex and global industry sector, such as consumer behaviour, online and omnichannel retailing, social media marketing, supply chain management and sustainability.

A research degree from the Department and the University is held in the highest esteem and recognised worldwide. Many of our fashion management and marketing graduates have progressed to successful academic careers and industry positions in reputable organisations worldwide. 

The Department provides first-class opportunities and facilities for our students to study specific subjects in-depth to a postgraduate research degree level through the Faculty's Graduate Development Training Programme as well as the opportunity to access Alliance Manchester Business School's doctoral research training programme. You will become part of a strong research culture in the Department, embedded through a programme research seminars given by research students, academic staff and external speakers, as well as an annual Postgraduate Research Conference.

There are flexible study packages available, as well as an extensive range of postgraduate research studentships and projects , and funding, scholarships and awards with many of our research students sponsored by a variety of Department, University and industry resources.

The programme fee will vary depending on the cost of running the project. Fees quoted are fully inclusive and, therefore, you will not be required to pay any additional bench fees or administration costs.

All fees for entry will be subject to yearly review and incremental rises per annum are also likely over the duration of the course for Home students (fees are typically fixed for International students, for the course duration at the year of entry). The Department of Media Studies (IMS) offers a doctoral programme in Fashion Studies leading to the Swedish degree of ”filosofie doktor” (PhD).

PhD Students in Fashion Studies conduct research in the context of a Humanities environment.

Through a structured program of study, You subscribe to the characteristics that distinguish post-graduate from under-graduate scholarship. These include:

  • A broad understanding of a research area within fashion studies
  • Familiarity with academic methodology in a range of adjacent disciplines
  • Capacity of carrying out original critical analysis
  • Intellectual originality and independence
  • Academic steadiness

Finally, a thesis must show Your capacity to academically and originally solve the research task. Steadiness includes the academic generosity which is an important and necessary skill in academic life.

There are many skill sets and attributes that make up these qualities. Most can only be acquired by the act of doing, that is, by researching, managing and writing a doctoral thesis.

A thesis is quite different from a long essay or from a book. It addresses a scholarly audience. It must synthesise a body of writing, situate itself in a field or fields, be academically generous and also make a contribution to new knowledge.

These skills unfold as You conduct the research, develop and test the hypothesis, through the act of writing, and in consultation with a panel of two supervisors and the wider academic community. You are encouraged to engage with Your peers in Humanities and any other relevant Faculties, which currently include Business. In the first year, You are encouraged to undertake courses in epistemology, construct Your research plan, and write papers in which You engage with key theorists in fashion studies.

You are also encouraged to spend a part of Your candidature abroad, engaging with the international scholarly community.

The MFA Fashion Design and Society is the first graduate program of its kind in the United States. Interdisciplinary and international, this program helps a small group of world-class designers develop a global understanding of fashion. The innovative curriculum enables you to make substantive contributions — both professional and conceptual — to fashion design. Initiated by Parsons alumna Donna Karan, the program has received support from numerous industry partners such as Diane von Furstenberg, Swarovski, Uniqlo, LVMH, and Kering.

As a student in the MFA Fashion Design and Society program, your design identity and existing skill sets and design approaches take center stage through one-on-one mentorship. Career opportunities already begin to arise during your final semester of the program, with in-house visits from headhunters, recruitment agencies, and company design teams. Graduates pursue diverse careers, including fashion design, art direction, curating, and teaching. Alumni have taken positions within the industry at Alexander Wang, Burberry, Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, Nike, Theory, Thom Browne, Tory Burch, Proenza Shouler, and Uniqlo, to name a few.

Takeaways from the 2024 Branch Lecture

Richard “Rick” L. Lieber, PhD, MBA, delivered an address titled “Is It OK That Science Is a Business?” to the Duke Doctor of Physical Therapy program on May 9 as part of the annual Branch Lecture series.

Dr Lieber is a professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Biomedical Engineering, and Physiology at Northwestern University and chief scientific officer of the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab. He shared wisdom from his career with laughs and nods of affirmation from the audience. The themes of his talk included embracing the lessons that come from failure and the value of understanding business concepts and applying them to healthcare settings.

Second-year student Halle Anderson shared her takeaways from the lecture:

“Dr. Richard Lieber delivered a charismatic and engaging discussion about leadership and creating change, large or small, for the betterment of our profession and future patients.

Through his experience as a “change manager” within the institutions he has served, Dr. Lieber has cultivated remarkable insight into harnessing the intersection of various professions to create innovative change. The collaborative spaces he spoke about, such as the Shirley Ryan IdeaLabs and BuzzLabs, are inspiring.

I can’t imagine any students leaving the lecture with their fears outweighing their excitement to enter the next phase of their physical therapist journey. As Dr. Lieber cited the different examples of change he helped to create at Shirley Ryan, I couldn’t help but feel immense pride in the work we are doing in our program to promote this team-based collaborative style of growth.

The Mary J. Blige Boot That Sold Out In A Day

Style icon Mary J. Blige recently collaborated with the global footwear company Giuseppe Zanotti to release a new boot . Blige is known for her stylish boots, often featuring unique designs and embellishments that reflect her bold fashion sense. The launch of the “Mary boot” on Monday, May 13, priced at $1,300, sparked a lot of discussion on social media about whether her fans could afford them. Despite the high price, the boots quickly sold out.

The successful partnership has led to the question of why Giuseppe Zanotti was chosen. We consider this a success because the knee-high shoes made with golf synthetic fabric have completely sold out. Despite being an Italian brand, which may seem like an unusual choice for Mary’s core fanbase, it has proven to be a solid choice. The company, which was founded in 1994, prides itself on a high level of craftsmanship. With nearly 30 years in business, production of the collaborative boot is expected to encounter minimal issues, such as shipment delays.

Aside from the above notion on shipment and craftsmanship, Mary J. Blige deserves recognition for her exceptional taste in footwear. The artist has had a long-standing relationship with brands and custom designs over the years. Stylist and designer Misa Hylton played a pivotal role in propelling Blige into the forefront of both the fashion and music industries, especially in the early stages of her career. Blige has always created memorable moments whether she’s clad in Fendi , a monochromatic look , or a cheetah print outfit .

What’s most interesting about Giuseppe Zanotti releasing this collaboration is that by doing so, they’re ushering in a level of acceptance of Black consumers. This notes an isolated incident where a brand is willing to co-sign a Black entertainer rather than not acknowledge their worthiness. This is a few notches above announcing brand ambassadors–the shoe points to a level of investment that is unique. To be clear, the cool factor that is often associated with our artists and creators is also being lent to this brand. That’s not to be taken lightly, either.

The Mary J. Blige Boot That Sold Out In A Day

In 2023 in an interview with British Vogue , Hylton shared that brands don’t want to be honest, mainly about their deep-rooted and systemic issues. She also noted, “The truth is they will take our money, but they don’t want to associate us with their brands because they don’t associate with us in their worlds.” This drop allows the Italian brand to somewhat call upon a new type of audience and world that they might not have considered to be profitable or worth courting. 

Even with the previously mentioned notion of turning the tide, the marketability of Blige is an example that McKinsey & Co. , a global consulting firm, suggests is best to encourage engagement among Black consumers. In a 2024 study (or marketing directly to Black shoppers), McKinsey & Co. noted that “Fashion brand’s ability to tailor marketing and engagement to Black consumers could be particularly fruitful.”

To those who say Black consumers cannot afford the boot–the fact that the shoes have sold out debunks that. While some fans are disappointed in the price point, it’s evident that the shoe was created for a very specific type of consumer, one who has disposable income. Consumers who won’t blink an eye at a pair of statement shoes costing $1,300 are also who this shoe was marketed towards. This exclusive launch connected with consumers, including Black customers who are fans of Blige, right where they are. 

Even with a bit of backlash on pricing and the lack of brand recognition, it’s clear that Giuseppe Zanotti is keying in on our spending power. While other consumers might have purchased the boot, our ability to support brands has a high return. McKinsey & Co. notes that the Black consumer is “economically significant.” This is not just about a boot, it’s about our economic power and our ability to shape the market. We are not just consumers, we are economic influencers. 

Our spending on apparel and footwear will grow by about 6 percent a year to $70 billion in nominal dollars by 2030. “This will be part of the total of $445 billion in nominal dollars that our survey data suggests will be up for grabs from 2022 to 2030, including a cumulative $50 billion in entirely new spending,” reports McKinsey & Co. While representation is evident with this launch, the monetary benefit is another factor. And it might just be the most significant factor, too. Regardless, the “Mary boot” represents a significant opportunity for our style titans, both in terms of representation and monetary benefit.

For Mormon Missionaries, Some ‘Big, Big Changes’

The church has loosened its strict rules for those evangelizing. And many members of Gen-Z are loving it.

Andres Gonzalez, 19, stands on the balcony of his Los Angeles apartment, his hands in his suit pockets. It is his first week as a missionary, but today, instead of approaching people on the street, he is shooting a video that he will later post to social media.

After about a dozen takes, he is successful. “Hello! If you would like to learn more about Jesus Christ,” he says to the camera in Spanish, “contact me.”

Mr. Gonzalez is the image of the modern missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which has changed many of its practices — from how missionaries preach to how they dress.

The faith, long known for sending tens of thousands of neatly and formally dressed young people across the globe each year to preach door to door, is encouraging new missionaries to spread the gospel on social media and, for some, with acts of community service closer to home.

As a church leader, Dieter F. Uchtdorf, put it, missionaries should feel comfortable sharing their faith in “ normal and natural ways .”

In the last few years, the church has also changed some rules for missionaries themselves — loosening restrictions on dress codes ( women can wear pants ) and how often they can call family members back home ( once a week , not just on Christmas and Mother’s Day).

To outsiders, the adjustments may seem small. But to missionaries who adhere to strict rules while on assignment, the shifts are dramatic.

“We’ve seen a lot of big, big changes,” Jensen Diederich, 23, said. He served his mission in Peru and said it was “monumental” when the church allowed him to call home weekly, instead of just twice a year.

The church believes missionary work is essential for the world’s salvation — that people must be baptized in the faith to get to the highest level of heaven after they die. Missionary work also helps increase the church’s membership, and it deepens many young members’ faith. Many missionaries begin their assignments just after they leave home. Instead of partying on a college campus, they commit themselves to the religion and develop habits that can last a lifetime.

One of those members was Senator Mitt Romney of Utah, who was a missionary in France in the 1960s. He has said the isolation of his mission allowed him to examine his faith without distraction . When asked about the changes, he said, “For young people of my generation, I think the separation from family and friends served us well.”

But he understands times have changed. “With today’s youth in near constant contact with one another, maintaining greater connection during a mission fits their life experience,” he added.

Many young church members say the new rules have made missionary service more attractive and realistic.

Kate Kennington, a 19-year-old with a mission assignment to London, said finding people online and messaging them is a more successful way of approaching potential converts. “It’s how I would want to be contacted,” she said.

“Knocking on doors and approaching people on the street are no longer seen as useful as they once were because of shifts in American culture,” said Matthew Bowman, a professor of religion and history at Claremont Graduate University who holds the chair of Mormon studies. He is also a church member.

For decades, missionaries’ clean-cut suits were signs of prosperity, Mr. Bowman said, and an effective way of appealing to converts. But they now feel “outdated.”

Many of the changes, especially the push to evangelize on social media, were fueled by the pandemic, which shut down in-person church gatherings and forced Latter-day Saints and Jehovah’s Witnesses to find alternatives to door-to-door preaching.

The missionaries use their phones to film videos of themselves promoting the church or sharing messages of faith. In one video , a missionary raps about his faith. In another , two missionaries throw a football and a Frisbee through an obstacle course in a church gym — an object lesson meant to visualize how Jesus Christ can help people overcome challenges.

So far, the changes appear to be working: In the last three years, as pandemic restrictions lifted and young members responded to an appeal from the church’s top leader for them to serve, the number of full-time proselytizing missionaries has risen by around 25 percent , according to church data. At the end of last year, the church had about 72,000 full-time missionaries serving around the world.

The church has just under 17.3 million members globally but has seen growth slow. From 1988 to 1989, during a surge in growth when the church expanded into West Africa , the church grew by about 9 percent . Last year, the church grew by about 1.5 percent .

A tradition of travel

Missionary work is a rite of passage for Latter-day Saints — and has been since the church’s founding in 1830.

The church’s missionaries have traveled the world, growing their faith from a fledgling start-up in upstate New York to a global religion that brings in billions of dollars in revenue .

Church leaders say it is men’s responsibility to become missionaries for two years starting at age 18. Missionary work is optional for women, who serve for 18 months. The church has historically encouraged women to focus on marriage and motherhood. But since 2012, when the church lowered the age women could become missionaries to 19 from 21, more women have been going .

Missionaries leave their families and friends, learn new languages and spend the first years of their adulthood spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.

While on a mission, they cannot date and must follow the religion’s ban on premarital sex, drinking, smoking, coffee and caffeinated tea. Communication with friends and family back home is restricted. They commit to stay focused on their work, and their proximity to their missionary partner creates a sense of accountability that keeps most from breaking the rules.

Until recently, the experience of young missionaries was similar to that of their parents. They first attended a missionary training center — a religious boot camp of sorts — before then traveling to their missions.

Most missionaries now start their training online at home , where the transition is less jarring. They can adapt to a mission schedule with their family’s support. Being home is also an opportunity for new missionaries to evangelize in their community.

“I’ve had friends who aren’t members of the church,” Tanner Bird, a 19-year-old missionary in Brazil who did part of his training at home in Houston. “And I just get super, super excited and talk to them about the gospel.”

Once deployed, men in some areas are allowed to wear blue shirts and go without ties , while women can wear wrinkle-resistant dress pants in “conservative colors.” Most missionaries now have smartphones and call their families weekly.

Some traditions remain: Young missionaries still do not get to pick their destinations. Many teenagers throw parties to open their assignments, reading their “call letter” aloud for the first time in front of family and friends. Others film elaborate announcement videos — including on ice skates . Some serve close to home (there are 10 missions in Utah). Others go as far as Tahiti or Tokyo.

Mr. Gonzalez, the missionary in Los Angeles, said he first imagined going on a mission when he was a child in Venezuela. His parents, who converted to the faith, often had young missionaries over for meals. After the church helped the family settle in Utah, he said serving as a missionary was part of his “American dream.”

Every morning, he wakes up at 6:30 a.m., the set time for many missionaries, with his “companion,” an assigned missionary partner. They are mandated to “never be alone,” with few exceptions, and each day follow a missionary schedule .

On Facebook, they contact people they have met, including those they have approached on the street in downtown Los Angeles. They also search groups for people who may be open to their message and post videos to generate interest in their faith. They keep track of potential converts’ progress, including lessons they teach. Every Monday, Mr. Gonzalez calls his parents.

Calls are also an opportunity for him to receive support. “It’s a little bit hard,” Mr. Gonzalez said of his mission work, describing people in downtown Los Angeles as “busy.” Still, he remains hopeful: “Some of them, they really are ready. They make time, even just like five minutes.”

The missionary experience is not for everyone. Some people feel isolated, find it difficult to adapt to a location, or struggle with the rules or the pressure to keep their commitment. Some people do leave early; the church does not comment on those who do.

Alex McAlpin, a 23-year-old who went on a mission to Denver, almost did not put in a missionary application. Before her mission, she attended Pepperdine University, where she wrestled with some aspects of church doctrine and history.

Then the church made its dress code change, allowing women to wear pants in 2018.

“That was the first day of my life that I thought maybe I would go” on a mission, Ms. McAlpin said. She saw the new dress code and the church’s other mission changes as a sign the church was evolving and listening to its younger members, many of whom hope their church will modernize in larger ways. “I wanted to be a part of the change.”
