My Ambition Essay

My Ambition

The ambition of any person’s life usually depends on their choice and interests. I aspire to be a great dancer . I have always had the knack for dancing from an early age. My parents always encouraged me to pursue my passion. Like most of the parents, they never discouraged me because it is not the most sought after career.

Subsequently, I wish to become a good dancer. I do not want the fame of being a dancer; rather I want the acclaim of being a good dancer. As my parents motivated me to pursue my dream, they enrolled me in dance classes. It helped me grow a lot as a dancer and also enhance my skills.

Most importantly, I wish to be a dance because I want to remove the stigma surrounding this career path. I want to set an example that you can do well in life if you’re not a doctor or engineer. Especially in India, where these two ambitions are considered the most valid.

I believe in the power of dance, and how it conveys the message without words. Dance is the language of the soul, and it makes me feel alive when I indulge in it.

Essay on My Ambition

Every person, irrespective of age, has a dream or a wish to achieve something special in life. Even when I was very young, my relatives would ask about my ambition. While I did not know what it meant, now I understand what they meant. Ambition is all about considering what I want to become in life. It helps us to form a particular aim in my life. It also refers to concentrating on a specific goal.

My Ambition

The ambition in anybody's life would depend on the interests and choices of the person. My ambition is to become a fitness guide in the future. Though my parents feel that it is quite an unusual choice for me, they are very encouraging about it. My parents are well aware of my interest in outdoor sports, as well as in yoga and Karate. They have always supported me to follow my passion.

Accordingly, they have enrolled me in yoga, swimming and Karate classes. I also play badminton regularly with my father. They have promised to help me in every way that they can provide. I never ignore my studies. Becoming a fitness expert might not be a very sought after choice, but my parents are happy with the choice nevertheless.

Why This Ambition?

From a very tender age, I have seen my grandparents very enthusiastic about morning walks and yoga. My mother would visit the gym and meditation classes regularly. And she was also very careful about what we eat. This is how I developed a liking for physical fitness. Now, I have become very passionate about different types of exercises. Also, I love communicating with people. It makes me feel great when I meet new people, talk to them and help them in any possible way. As a fitness guide, I may get the opportunity to meet new people, understand their problems and make them look and feel better with the right exercises. Moreover, if they have a healthy and fit body, then they would feel more confident than ever.

Also, I don't like to stick to a regular desk job. I feel that as a fitness expert, every working day is going to be different. I will have people of all age groups and from different walks of life coming to me. Each of them would have unique fitness needs. Every day, I will have a new challenge and something new to the plan.

What I Want To Do

As a fitness trainer, it would be my priority to instruct and give support to those who come to me. Depending on their physical condition and their needs, I would suggest and create workout plans. I will have to earn expertise in different forms of work out. I will use my knowledge and experience to create customized exercise plans. I can lead group classes, provide one to one sessions or combine both. Also, to keep me upgraded, I will keep on learning new exercise techniques.

Where to Work?

A fitness instructor can either be a freelancer or have his or her fitness studio. Several professionals also work in boutique hotels, as well as in gyms, hospitals, schools and similar places. Even in keeping with the trend of working from home after COVID 19 scenario, I have seen that some professionals are offering online classes as well.

Before that, I will have to get a degree or diploma in fitness courses. It is also essential to develop my communication skills. For that, I may have to join special grooming classes. Also, I will need to research the latest developments and trends in fitness training. This will help me to perform even better.

Different types of fitness classes, such as aerobics, HIIT, Pilates, yoga, dance, cycling and the like are becoming more popular than ever. This is gradually increasing the job opportunity for fitness experts. Also, the modern lifestyle has become very sedentary. There is minimal scope for outdoor activities and rigorous physical exercise. So even some young people are suffering from severe conditions like diabetes, obesity and hypertension. So almost everyone, at one time or another, looks for a trainer for help.

Fitness is no more a bodybuilding game. It is all about following good postures, eating right and staying confident. This is where I might help.

FAQs on My Ambition Essay

1. What is the importance of ambition in life?

Ambition is a powerful motivator for human development. Without a healthy dose of ambition, no one can prosper. Those that aspire to be more, learn more, accomplish more, give more, or have more have a strong internal drive that propels them to dream greater and go further. They are motivated by an ambition to advance and achieve their objectives. Ambition shows healthy self-esteem and a higher power of abstraction and imagery of the future when it is well-directed and supported by values. As they get closer to their goals, ambitious folks have a glitter in their eyes. They have a higher vibration and a contagious passion for completing tasks. They motivate and inspire others.

It is important to remember that ambition does not imply a lack of morals or principles. It is not about a lack of control or being manipulative, as many people in Western civilisation believe. Ambition isn't valued here. We are afraid of it and distrust it. We are prone to conflating it with unbridled ambition. It is as if every ambitious person was born with the ability and willingness to cause harm to others. Of course, there are others with unrestrained ambition—the evil guy in the story stereotyped—who are capable of doing everything and running over anyone to accomplish what they want. However, persons with a healthy and positive amount of ambition are not inherently disqualified from succeeding and doing good at the same time.

2. What are the disadvantages of being excessively ambitious?

This is a positive attribute in general, especially for people who are seeking to start their own business. Obviously, if you are more naturally motivated to establish and achieve goals, you will have a better chance of succeeding than someone who is not, right?

This is not always the case, though. Extreme ambition may, in fact, cause more harm than good in some circumstances. If you believe you are a person who is very ambitious, you should be aware of the following potentially dangerous side effects.

Fixation on the End Result: The tendency to focus too narrowly on one vision or ultimate goal is the first major adverse consequence of excessive ambition. For example, if your objective is to make $1 million by the age of 30, everything that doesn't appear to push you closer to that goal may seem pointless.

For two reasons, this is an issue. For starters, it limits your ability to adjust to new situations. If a new rival appears to be posing a danger to your organisation, you may need to adapt your strategy and goals, even if it means departing from your initial vision. This will be difficult if you have too much ambition.

Unfettered Growth: Excessive ambition can also lead to an overabundance of desire to advance. And, as you are probably aware, uncontrolled, excessively rapid expansion can lead to a company's demise. When you develop too quickly, you wind up squandering money; you invest in people, equipment, and resources before you need them; and your internal structures become so disorganised that keeping up is practically impossible.

Becoming Selfish: Being ambitious tends to make you more selfish, leading you to pursue personal ambitions at the expense of your family, friends, and community.

You might, for example, work late into the night instead of spending meaningful time with your spouse and child, or you might ignore your employees' demands and mental health in order to eke out a little more output. While this may help you make some short-term gains, relationships and community connections are greater predictors of success in the long run: These bonds are mutually beneficial, and they are considerably more vital to your mental health than ambition, which is the subject of my next section.

3. How to choose a career?

To choose your career, remember the following points:

Determine your Abilities and Passions: Choosing a career path is a significant decision. You will spend a large portion of your life at work, so make good career choices if you want to enjoy your job, stay motivated, and reach your full potential.

To begin, you must first understand yourself. This entails examining your abilities as well as your interests and values.

Consider your Options for a Career: Consider what your dream work sector would be, then examine the local, national, and worldwide employment markets to learn about its important trends. This will assist you in identifying other alternative career options as well as determining whether roles are expanding or dropping.

Make a Decision: You are now ready to start making choices. Combine what you have learned about yourself and your options with what you've learned about the graduate employment market.

Choose the role that most interests you from your list of work possibilities and one or two backup options in case you are unable to pursue your initial pick.

4. How to relax in life?

Breathe it out: One of the most basic relaxation techniques, breathing exercises can successfully soothe your stressed-out body and mind at any moment. Spot one hand on your belly and sit or lie down in a calm and safe place in your house, such as your bed or the floor. Inhale slowly to a count of three, then exhale slowly to the same count of three. As you breathe in and out, notice how your tummy rises and falls. Repeat five times, or as many times as necessary to feel at ease.

5. How to fight laziness?

Burnout can be caused by setting unreasonable objectives and taking on too much. Burnout symptoms are recognised by medical specialists, despite the fact that it is not a clinical diagnosis. Burnout at work can lead to exhaustion, a lack of interest and ambition, and a desire to leave. Set realistic and manageable goals that will get you where you want to go without overwhelming you along the way to avoid overloading.

Negative self-talk can sabotage your efforts to accomplish goals in many areas of your life. Negative self-talk includes telling yourself that you are a slacker. Go to the Vedantu app and website for free study materials.

6. What is the difference between aim and ambition in life?

Having an aim in life is as essential as having an ambition. Aim refers to a specific goal that a particular person might want to reach. However, ambition means a very strong wish to achieve what one aims in life. It is out of ambition that we can set realistic targets, plan and work to get the results. Serious ambition can keep people motivated and well-directed.

7. Why is ambition important?

With ambition, there is a strong desire to achieve something positive. It gives all the motivation to chase dreams. This, in turn, helps our mind to look for new scopes and opportunities, as well as find new strategies to reach our goals.

8. How to find your ambition?

Not every idea that comes to mind is an ambition. To find your true ambition, you need to take some time. Think about what you like to do in life. Also, think if you have any idea to use your favourite activity to do something fruitful. Also, consider the activities that you think are giving a lot of effort. These steps will help you to find your true ambition.

Ambition supplies the driving force. It lends meaning to life. A man without an ambition is just like a ship without a rudder, at the mercy of waves, tossing it here and there. A fixed aim or goal in life is very important. Aimless life remains the slave of opportunities. Ambition adds zeal to live. It gives the right direction and makes a man work single-mindedly to attain that goal and to fulfill that ambition. Ambition makes man resourceful and hard-working, sincere and serious. It inculcates a purpose in life. Man strives hard to achieve what he has thought of to be.

Teaching attracts me a lot. It is a noble and respectable profession. I do know that it cannot make me roll in riches, still, I want to be a teacher. A teacher is a torch-bearer, a nation builder, and a servant of mankind.

Need of the hour is devoted teachers to produce men of integrity. I shall give the best of me to my students. I will not be a steam roller that produces oneness and conformity. My students will not be robots. I will leave them to themselves. My work will be to throw a stone in the stagnant water and watch the ripples. Ideas will be mine but to give them proper shape will be the responsibility of the students. So I will try my best to inculcate the habit of independent thinking in my students.

I will teach them not to take things lying down. I will train them to see reason and apply reason. This way I will impart a scientific attitude to my students. I will be a teacher with a missionary zeal. I shall mould the character of students and see that they become ideal citizens. For this, I will try to be their icon in all respects. I shall be a living model of punctuality, discipline, humility, efficiency, and up righteousness.

I shall try to remove ignorance, dogma, and superstition from the students. Modern students are rootless and thoughtless. I shall try to provide them with thoughts as well as roots.

The motto of ‘Simple living and high thinking’ has inculcated in me the ambition to be a teacher. I love young children and by adopting the profession of a teacher I will remain in their company all my life. The noble ideals of the teachers in the .ancient times are before me. In spite of being aware of the difficult and hard life of a teacher, my ambition is to be a teacher. Not an ordinary teacher but a teacher who will leave footprints on the sand of time.

Everybody has an ambition in life. Like others, I too have great ambition to reach lofty heights in life.

It is not always easy to make a judicious choice of a profession. It depends upon various factors, namely, personal likes and dislikes long-term planning, academic qualifications, and material resources. It is seen that one often takes to a profession which comes one’s Way without paying any regard to the above factors. Such a person can never attain success in life. It is, therefore, essential to plan and decide carefully before selecting a profession.

As for me, I have given this matter due consideration. I have also examined the relative merits of different professions. I have neither the debating faculty so essential for law nor the strong heart that can stand the dissection of living creatures. Thus, I can neither be a lawyer nor a doctor, engineering has no doubt a bright future in the modem of India but I cannot understand the intricacies of science. Trade and commerce, on the other hand, require a lot of capital. If one fails, one may not have anything to fall back upon. Teaching is, of course, the only profession that finds favour with my taste and temperament.

There are many reasons why I like this profession. A teacher has a sacred duty to perform. It is he on whom rests the responsibility for moulding the characters of young children. Apart from developing intellect, he can inculcate in them qualities of a good citizen– remaining neat and tidy, talking decently, and sitting properly. These virtues are not easy to be imbibed. Only he who himself leads a life of simplicity, purity, and rigid discipline can successfully cultivate these habits in his pupils.

Besides, a teacher always remains young. He may grow old in age but not in spirits. Perpetual contact with budding youth keeps him happy and cheerful. There are moments when domestic worries weigh on his mind but the delightful company of innocent children makes him overcome his transient mood of despair.

Then ‘there is the lively world of books written by masterminds in which he dwells. I am very fond of reading books. This profession will thus help me in satisfying my craving for studies. Whether I shall succeed in achieving my goal, not I cannot say. I know that some of my friends have more laudable ambitions but mine is by no means a low one. It is the highest profession in the world, as the teacher imparts education to the entire world.

Everybody dreams. All have dreams of name, fame, and riches in this world.

Some people’s ambition is to be a rich businessmen, while others dream of being doctors, scientists, actors, etc.

In this world, we come across very few people who do not have any desire or ambition in life. Then there are also those who waste their life by choosing the wrong path which ultimately harms society also.

Although I am not an ambitious person, this surely is my goal in life to lead a simple life, to serve humanity in whatever form possible and in whatever I do, must make my parents proud of me.

I have grown up in a middle-class family, and my parents instilled great values in me. In most of the professions, people become corrupt by accepting bribery just to satisfy their greed. My values will never allow me to take bribes.

I would love to become a teacher, because of the simple and down-to-earth way of their life. I have reasons for taking teaching as my life profession because of my fondness for children. I can give them knowledge about different things I can help the little ones in reading and writing. By doing this I would give my country better human beings for tomorrow, and they will be the assets of the country.

If I am able to do these things, then I would think I have achieved my ambition in life.

Aim of My Life

Ambition changes into aim when we adopt it with a motive to fulfill. -Bacon

Mahatma Gandhi had the ambition to see his country as free and Independent. Pt. Nehru wanted to see prosperity for India. He had a view of equality for all. He aimed cooperative movement for the prosperity of the Indian masses. Sardar Patel wanted to unite India as a single unit. The ambition was later on adopted as the aim of life and the notable people struggled to fulfill it.

In the same way, George Bush has the ambition to lead the USA to supreme status. He has an aim to make the whole world subordinate to the supreme power, the US. Sometimes these ambitions come up true but they shatter on account of slack efforts. Hence the adoption of desire, ambition, and aim involves the exploration of ways and means to achieve the goal. In the next phase, we are to find ways and means to achieve the aims of life. The exploration leads us to examine the possibilities and put in more sincere efforts.

I too have an aim to become a doctor in life. I have already taken physics, chemistry, and biology in my IX class. I am working very hard to reach my goal. I have a craze for a white coat and stethoscope in the dress of a doctor. I have a deep regard for the efforts they make in helping a sick person. They work hard and render all the best services to the poor sufferer.

A doctor can do a lot of service to the poor and ailing masses. I am pulling in all the efforts to acquire the top rank in class. My teachers are very helpful to me in my mission. They provide motivation, carrier counseling, and all help in explaining the subject. They often encourage to me to seek guidance for odd questions. My parents have already requested some reputed guides to help me in the subject. I have joined some coaching classes and am sure to get better rewards.

I have told my parents that my basic aim to join medical services is to render help to poor and needy persons. I will not hanker after high figure profits and earnings. I may even like to help the needy with whatever I have in my storage. My father has, very kindly, approved my feelings and is encouraging me to work with the best of my efforts. I got very good marks in my last term examinations. Even from my junior classes, the classmates have started appreciating my efforts. They lend me all the help to achieve my aim.

India is full of miseries and diseases. Health and living draw maximum attention for uplift. It will be my privilege to serve the needy for their requirement through this profession.

My Ambition

Essay No. 05

People have dreams in their lives. Many aspire to be rich or to become business tycoons. Some persons dream of becoming leaders, politicians and social reformers. Some aspire to become the leading hooligans and anti-social elements of their localities or cities and this is a bad aspiration. There are others who have a craze for becoming poets, writers and novelists while most of us generally have a desire of becoming engineers, doctors and scientists of great repute. There are very few persons who are happy-go-lucky by nature and have no clear-cut aims in their lives.

I do not have very high aims in my life. I do not wish to become a mill-owner or a multi-millionaire. The some object of my life is to lead a life of simplicity and goodness devoted to the service of humanity. The life of a professional leader or a politician would not suit me as most of such persons have become parasites on the society.

I was born of middle-class parents. From the very beginning, have been passing through the struggles of life. I have seen cut-throat competition in most of the professions. Its consequences have been far-reaching; people are demoralised. Examples can be quoted in which, we can find the engineers accepting big bribes, lawyers rescuing guilty persons or murderers and doctors demanding money from the patients at crucial stages of surgical operation.

Then what do I want to be? Indeed, from the core of my heart, I wish to become a teacher. The motto of this life, ‘simple living and high thinking, inspires me to take up this profession. The noble ideas of the teachers in the ancient times are before me. I am fully aware of the difficult and hard life of a teacher. He leads a life of drudgery, busy in correcting exercise books or answer books of the students. There are no stirring event in his life.

Inspite of these hardships, I would like to become a teacher. I have reasons and considerations for adopting this profession. Since my early childhood, I have the days of developed affection for the young children. In my view, they are delicate and beautiful like the petals of a flower. I feel that as a teacher, I can help the students in widening their outlook by giving them knowledge. I shall help the country by producing better citizens. Moreover, the company of the young children would also help me in remaining young and fresh in thoughts and outlook. Besides rendering all these important services, I shall also have the means of subsistence. I have a great faith in the life of a noble and an ideal teacher because teachers are the custodians of the highest values, according to our former President, Dr. S. Radhakrishnan.

Class 10th General English Essay Writing

1. my ambition in life.

Introduction : Every person has some ambition 1 or the other in his life. ‘Where there is a will, there is a way’—so goes the saying.ust to have an ambition is not enough—there must be a strong effort to fulfil the ambition. Some may have an ambition to become a rich businessman, some an engineer, some a farmer ! and so on.

My Ambition : My ambition is to become a doctor. In my opinion it is a noble profession. It is the most challenging of all the professions. It is a twenty-four hourob. A doctor may have to attend ; an emergency call at 2 a. m. For this he may have to sacrifice his sleep and sometimes his food and rest too.

Reasons for My Ambition : I have a sensitive heart to feel other people’s sufferings. This inspires me to try to become a doctor. An inner voice directs me to serve the poor and the sick like Mother Teresa. I Thousands of people die in our villagesust because ! there are no doctors and medicines there. I prefer to work in a small villager rather than in a big city. I will not take any fee from the poor patients. Giving some service to a needy person brings satisfaction which is more precious than all the wealth of the world. I have experienced this when I gave my blood to a sick i child last year. His mother gave me the blessings that still keeps my heart warm.

My Efforts : To become a doctor I have opted ! science and biology. I study books on physiology and human anatomy which are not in my present 1 syllabus. I try to solve C.P.M.T. question papers. I have some scientific apparatus, dissection box etc. I do some experiments and dissect frogs etc. at home.

Conclusion : I feel that I have at least some qualities that are necessary for becoming a doctor. I hope to acquire other qualities soon. Moreover the blessings of my parents and good wishes of my teachers and friends will fulfil my ambition.

2. A Visit to a Historical Place

Introduction : Books give us only second and third-hand knowledge. It is said ‘Seeing is believing’. So to have a good knowledge of a thing, it is necessary to see it. Our school organized a historical tour of Agra last year.

We reached Agra at 7 p.m. by the express. Our history teacher had booked six rooms in the Govt. Tourist Bungalow in advance. We took dinner. Our teacher told us the programme of the next day. He also told us about the historical monuments of Agra.

Visit to the TaMahal etc : Next day first of all we visited the TaMahal. It was built by a Mughal emperor Shahahan in memory of his beloved queen Mumtaz Mahal. It is made of white marble. People say that it is beautiful but I see cruelty in its so-called beauty. The cruel Shahahan had cut the hands of the craftsmen who built the TaMahal. A famous Urdu poet has rightly said—Ek Shahanshah ne banwa ke hansi TaMahal, ham Garibon ki muhabbat ka udyaya hai majak.

Then we visited the Red Fort, Sikandara and Soamibagh, Dayalbagh. The magnificent Red Fort was built by Akbar the Great. Soamibagh is the Samadhi of Soamiji Maharaj, the founder-guru of Radhasoami Faith.

Conclusion : Next day we visited the Fatehpur Sikri. It is also built by Akbar. The two-day visit to Agra gave us real knowledge of the historical monuments.

3. My Favourite Leader

Introduction : A country is great because of her great leaders. We are fortunate that our motherland has given birth to hundreds of great leaders—Gautam Buddha, Ashoka the Great, Akbar the Great, Rani Laxmi Bai, Mahatma Gandhi, Subhash Chandra Bose, Nehru, Indira Gandhi etc. My Favourite leader is Indira Gandhi.

Indira’s Childhood : Indira was bom on November 19, 1917 at Anand Bhawan in Allahabad. Politics, patriotism, bravery and leadership were in her blood as she was the daughter of Jawaharlal Nehru. She had guidance of Gandhiji. She had formed a children’s brigade ‘Vanarsena’. It helped the Satyagrahis by giving them important messages, food etc. She was educated at Poona, Shanti Niketan, Oxford etc. But her education was often interrupted by her mother’s illness. At Anand Bhawan important political meetings were held. So she was brought up in a political and patriotic environment.

Her Informal Training in Leadership : Indira married Feroz Gandhi in 1942. Both took active part in the freedom movement. After the independence, her father Jawaharlal Nehru became the first Prime Minister of free India. She used to accompany her father to international conferences and meetings. She had an opportunity to meet the world leaders. Thus she had an informal training in leadership.

Her Political Career : She was elected President of the Indian National Congress in 1959. In Lai Bahadur Shastri’s Cabinet she became a Union Cabinet Minister. After Lai Bahadur Shastri’s death she became the first woman Prime Minister of India onanuary 24, 1966. She remained the Prime Minister till her death on October 31,1984 except for three years from 1977 to 1980. She was awarded the Bharat Ratna for her patriotism.

4. My Favourite Teacher Or The Person I Like Most

Introduction : The place of a teacher is very high in Indian culture—higher than God. The Saint poet Kabir has placed him higher than God in this famous couplet—‘Guru Gobind Dou Khare But real teachers are very rare. am fortunate that I have been a student of Sri Govind Sharma, our English Teacher and I like him the most.

His Personality : He is about thirty years. He is quite handsome and smart. He is our class teacher too. He has been teaching me for last four years. He has simple living but high thinking.

Teaching Method : His teaching method is so interesting that even a weak student understands his lessons. He uses audio-visual aids like Linguaphone, films, charts etc. in teaching English.

His Qualities : He is very punctual. He never comes late to school. Sometimes he takes extra classes on our request. He is always ready to help the students. Mr. Sharma treats us as his younger brothers. We also love and respect him. He plays football and cricket with us. He is very good at batting. He writes Hindi poems and stories. Last year he was honoured with State Award for his excellent teaching.

Conclusion : He says that real education is notust learning the value of money and reading books, but it is a good behaviour. One should become a real man full of human qualities. He does what he says. He is a real human being, full of love and sympathy for others. I wish him a long and happy life.

5. Pollution

Introduction: Albert Einstein once said, “There are two things that have no limit—first is God’s universe and second is man’s follies.” Pollution comes in the second thing, i.e., in man’s follies. It is a byproduct of scientific and industrial progress. Man went on racing blindly and thoughtlessly towards materialistic progress. He did not care to pause for a while whether his mad rat race might lead him to self-destruction. Most of the so-called boons of science proved to be curses in disguise, vehicles, roaring machines, disposable things—all have caused air, noise and water pollution. As a bad result of several inventions, the hole in the ozone sphere is growing bigger and bigger. It is feared that the earth temperature will increase causing terrible floods.

Causes : Today the scientists and the statesman of developed nations are worried about the pollution problem. There are several causes of pollution problem. Cars, buses and trucks release poisonous gases which cause air pollution. They are responsible for noise pollution too. The smoke of factories makes air polluted.

Noise Pollution: Loudspeakers, shriekinghoms of vehicles, aeroplanes—all fill the environment with deafening noise. Social and religious ceremonies like birthday parties, marriages, Akhand Kirtans— all are bound to create loud music, which has less music and more noise. Water Pollution : Industrial refuse of textile industries and chemical industries are dumped into rivers. This makes water dirty and many fishes die. Death of fish further pollutes water. Perhaps our ancient philosophy of witlessness is the real remedy.

Short Essay on Holiday (200 – 250 Words)

Introduction

Ambitions are a necessary thought. Everybody has some or other ambitions in their life. Without ambition, life seems to be without any motive. Ambition gives us the energy to achieve our goal. There can be many obstacles and hindrances in getting our objectives to be fulfilled, but if we have a clear ambition then it is not difficult.

My Ambition in Life

From my childhood, I have the ambition to become a doctor and serve the whole nation and humanity. As I have seen the white dress of the doctors, at first I was fascinated by the same. But I also have a love for their noble work too. I wanted to provide free services to the people who were poor. Secondly, I have seen many of the patients dying because of not having money and facilities. I wanted to work for them. People consider doctors as God figures and this feeling gave me immense respect for this profession.

I never wanted to become a doctor full of greed. The scenario today has been changed a lot, many doctors have changed their aim from serving mankind to money-making. But still, there are doctors who can be a role model for others. From my childhood, I dreamt of becoming a doctor and my ambition did not change, it remained the same.

An ambition gives a proper perspective to our life and thinking. Thus we should have one or the other objectives in our life and also work harder to attain the same.

Essay 2 (400 Words) – My Ambition to Become a Social Worker

Everybody in this world has a desire to become something, attain some of the positions. Some dream of becoming doctors, engineers, scientists, writers, political leaders, and many more. The aspiration to become something is called to be having an ambition.

My Ambition to Become a Social Worker

During my childhood, I dreamt of becoming a doctor and serve my nation. It may sound funny that I am afraid of seeing blood and patients. So I dropped the aim to become a doctor. I have seen many small children begging and working in many of the shops and restaurants.

So I came to a decision to become a social worker. At least I can do something for their betterment. This will provide a sense of satisfaction to me after work. I also have a great love for animals and nature. As animals cannot speak up and express their pain and feelings, therefore I want to make people aware of the same and further teach them to look after them.

I just have the main motive behind becoming a social worker that I could do something for the people and nature. I have seen many of the children working to make their families survive, but they are unaware of the beneficial government schemes. Therefore it is a good deed to make people aware of the same. There are many children in society who are not properly guided and therefore are directed to the wrong path. So if I would work in this field, it will give me immense pleasure.

Working for Nature and Society

The work of a social worker is to work for a social cause. After becoming a social worker I would be able to make people understand the importance of education, by conducting surveys and awareness programme. According to me, we should also care for our surrounding in which we reside.

We should never allow anybody to do activities which may destroy the balance and nature. The animals, plants, and trees along with other organisms have the same right as we do have on this planet. But we could see that we are forgetting our responsibilities towards our nature. As a social worker, I would be working for the upliftment of society as well as nature too.

There must be an ambition in everyone’s life. Life without an aim is meaningless. The objective in life to do or become something drives us with positivity and courage to fulfill the same. One should not waste the precious gift of god i.e. life in vain, instead, make it worth.

Essay 3 (500 – 600 Words) – My Ambition in My Life

Life is a mixture of struggle and happiness. Ambitions make our life a sensible and beautiful one. Every one of us dreams to become something or the other in our lives. This is our ambition, which makes us work for the same and achieve it without getting disturbed by the hurdles of life. So we can say ambition is that driving factor which makes us successful in making our dreams comes true.

Significance of having Ambition in Our Life

  • It is their ambition only which makes people reach higher positions.
  • Having an ambition in our life helps in identifying the goal of our lives.
  • Ambition makes our life lively and energetic. If we have some motive then we continuously work in order to get it fulfilled.
  • Ambition inculcates in us the feeling to work hard to accomplish our dreams.
  • Ambition creates a situation for us to achieve our goal at any cost of hard work and firm determination.
  • Boosts the confidence level of an individual, and brings discipline in one’s life.

My Dream to Become a Teacher

The main motive of my life is to impart the knowledge I have gained, to others. As I believe in the fact that knowledge enhances as much it is distributed. I wanted to become a teacher as this will help me a lot in fulfilling my motive. Secondly, I found the teaching profession as one of the noblest professions.

Reasons for Opting to become a Teacher

It creates a lot of opportunities to learn about different aspects. According to my opinion, a teacher is a person in a child’s life, who is guiding the child about right and wrong after parents as first teachers. As a teacher I want students to consider me as their friend so that I may closely get to know about them.

Teachers are provided with an opportunity to get to know different types of children from various societies, thus making them more social. After I become a teacher, I will ensure that children are not only learning the subject matter but also moral values, ethics, and culture. The main thing is that I have seen an image of motivational speakers in me, so I think I will be better at motivating students to understand their aim and work for the same. At the same time, I am trying to inculcate as many features as one could in me, for becoming a successful teacher.

Uncertainty to Ambitions due to Pandemic Situation

There is a lot of uncertainty that has been created during the pandemic situation.

Many people have been fired from their dream job which is a great loss to their carrier and family. Many of the companies have not visited the colleges for placements, thus making students disappointed and concerned for their future. Even numbers of students were deprived of exams due to the critical situation. Therefore it can be stated that pandemic has raised the situation of uncertainty and depression among students and people.

But one must not lose hope and courage as life is filled up with hurdles, and we are the one who has to pave our way.

Risks of becoming Over-Ambitious

  • The over-ambitious attitude is a dangerous one. Every success we get is a step-wise process. Over-ambitious nature accounts for attaining everything in life, but at a faster rate which may prove bad.
  • The person may lose the pleasure of the family and attention too, in fulfilling his ambition only.
  • Life may also become short, as in a race to achieve a lot in less time one may pay less attention to the health requirements.

We all are not born with ambitions; instead, we have to inculcate it among us as we grow up. Ambitions are something that we desire to achieve in our lives, and thus we have to work sincerely with a lot of efforts to accomplish our goals.

‘In the end, I would like to add that I am dedicated to pursuing educational opportunities, advocating for change, and overcoming challenges with resilience. I am prepared to face the challenges in my way as I am determined to contribute meaningful and environment-friendly solutions for a healthy and sustainable life for everyone.’

Essay on My Ambition in Life in English For Students & Children

Short Essay My Ambition in Life to become a teacher in 100 words

Life, without ambition, is like a rudderless ship. Tastes and likings differ from person to person. My ambition in life is to become a teacher. There is a sound reason behind my choice.

Teaching is a noble profession. The teacher is the builder of the nation. The teacher serves the country by turning the students into good citizens. He fulfills the needs of the nation. He lends a helping hand in rooting out illiteracy. The teacher sows the seeds of character among his students.

I will impart education to students in a homely atmosphere. I shall treat my students as my own children. I shall curb indiscipline and promote a sense of regularity and punctuality among the students. I shall prove to be an ideal teacher

Essay on My Ambition in Life to become a lawyer ( 300 words )

Man is ambitious by nature. He cannot be without an aim or ambition. Life without aim seems to be dull. It is ambition alone that makes life worth living. If there were no ambition or aim, man is no better than an animal. Eating, drinking, and sleeping does not mean much. Something more than that is needed. And this is an urge to do something great. I know some men long for money, some for fame, and some for power. They want to become ministers, big officers, or big business magnates. I do not have an ambition of this type.

My ambition is to serve the masses of my country. I do not want to become a doctor for that purpose. The medical profession does not interest me. Nor do I want to become a teacher or a preacher. India has a good number of them already. Becoming an engineer is beyond my capacity. The job of a lawyer, however, appeals to me. I am simply attracted by the dress of an advocate. It may sound very strange. Lawyers and service of country? It appears to be only a paradox. The lawyers, according to the common people, are notorious for charging high fees and for proving the false to be true and vice versa.

I, however, think along different lines. I feel many poor people in India is deprived of justice because of its heavy cost. In a country where more than fifty percent of people live below the poverty line, it should not be costly. I want to serve the country by providing justice to the party which deserves it. I intend to start a Legal Aid Clinic. There I shall provide free legal aid to poor clients. May God fulfill my ambition!

Essay on My Ambition in Life in 350 words

Ambition means a strong desire to achieve something great. Like hope, ambition makes life meaningful. A man without ambition is a mere animal. Different people have different ambitions. One would like to be a doctor, the other an engineer, and so on.

In fact, the choice of profession is a difficult job. The whole life of a person depends upon his choice of profession. Every person cannot become a politician. A politician is the worst liar. Politics is a dirty game. It is a game of scoundrels.

A Businessman is very greedy. He is always after money. He has no time to stand and stare. The lawyer is also the servant of money. They would coin arguments to save their clients even if they are criminals.

An administrator loses touch with humanity. He is always vain. A doctor’ fleeces money even from dying patients. A teacher is very poorly paid.

After careful thought, I have decided to become a writer. I shall adopt writing as my profession in life. I shall serve my country through the pen. At the same time, I shall make a good living also.

I am confident of my success in this field. I have been a regular contributor to the College Magazine. My teachers speak highly of my articles. A number of my short stories have been published in many magazines. I am gifted with a rich imagination. I have in my mind plots of several novels.

I shall expose social evils through my writings. I shall write against the dowry system, early marriage, untouchability, and exploitation of the poor, but in favour of family planning.

I shall prick the conscience of the evil door I shall expose the corrupt. I shall write in favour of the unity and integrity of India, and national reconstruction. I shall not even spare the government if it goes wrong. I shall always hold the interests of the community as dear to me.

A writer becomes immortal through his writings.

My main aim will be to ease all kinds of pain and stress of people so that they can give me blessings.

Also, I wish to open my own hospital so that I can provide maximum facilities and the best treatments to people at minimum cost.

I’ll provide all types of treatments in my hospital. When I see the progress, I’ll open some branches all over the country.

My father is a cloth merchant who is limited to his field but I want to take my father’s business to a higher level.

I want to do business in all types of clothing related to people of all ages.

As soon as I complete my studies, I’ll take care of my father’s business and follow the same strategies that I’ve learnt from other successful businessmen.

Apart from this, if I get success in this work, I’ll try my best to run it abroad with full dedication.

Essay on “Goal of My life” Complete Essay for Class 10, Class 12 and Graduation and other classes.

Goal of My life

Life without a noble aim is like a rudderless ship, but to choose a goal is quite an uphill task. Different people have different ambitions according to their tastes and likings because nothing is good or bad but thinking makes it so. Every seeing eye, thinking mind and feeling heart has one ambition or the other.

My greatest aim in life is to serve my country. I know that this is not as easy job, I also know that there are many ways of serving one’s country. I know that the best service to my country, in the first place, would be to become a good citizen. I may choose to be a teacher, an engineer or a doctor. I may become a businessman or a politician. But whatever I become, I shall not be useful to my country, if I do not realize my rights and duties.

My first step in realizing the aim of my life, therefore would be to make myself an ideal citizen. I shall never become corrupt and shall never tolerate corruption among others. I shall always be just and fair to others. In every action I will always keep the interest of the community before my personal interest. Whenever there is a clash between my personal and social interest, I shall not press my claims. If I can live up to this idea, I would have a healthy, influence on everybody. I can bring no reform in others if I do not reform myself.

My way of serving my country would be to become a doctor and take up this profession seriously. As a doctor, I shall devote all my energies in helping my countrymen. My aim would not be to make money.

I would serve my country in another manner also. In addition to my job. I shall always be prepared to lend my support to all good causes.  I would take keen interest in all the movements going on around me. I shall try to help in eradicating poverty and ignorance of my countrymen in every way. If I can afford it, I shall give financial help to organizations which carry in such work.

I know that the service of my country is difficult if I work alone and do not pool my energy with that of others. No individual, however great, is in a position to serve his country in isolation. In the world of today, great changes can be brought about, only by collective effort. Therefore I shall take keen interest in the development of the political parties of the country. I shall study their programmes and see which one can really work for the welfare of the people. I shall then seriously make a choice and render help to the political party of my choice.

My goal in life is of a very modest nature. I know I shall be able to line up to this modest ideal. If everyone in our country, were to have the same ambition, our country would make rapid progress in no time. Thus my ambition in life would be achieved all the more if I can persuade others to follow this very way of life. This I shall try to do by setting a personal example. All those who come in contact with me will be inspired by my way of my life. This is the best way in which we can serve our country.
